We loved our stay at Pier 60! The rooms were very clean upon arrival and everyone was so helpful and nice! Breakfast was great and the location was awesome! If your flying in and plan to stay there you really don’t need a rental car. Everything is within walking distance! Jimmys Crow Nest was great and beautiful views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay on Clearwater Beach!

Beautiful area but the resort fee included a breakfast that was horrible. I also wish we could have opened the windows in our room. We had ocean view but couldn’t enjoy it because the windows did not open. But everything else was amazing. So many other options.

I absolutely love this place! Everything met my expectations! Loved the pool, the roof top bar, parking. The staff was top notch and breakfast was excellent! The room was gorgeous and loved the view! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops! Being beside the marina was awesome! Truly loved watching the boats and sunrise from our room! My husband and I will be back!

The hotel did have good housekeepers and the pool area was clean. I was very disappointed the business center was closed especially since I called to make sure it was and didn’t bring my laptop because I was relying on that. Also the ice machine was broke on our floor and the next floor which was a major inconvenience.

My stay at hotel was fine but pool is very small and the breakfast provided is not so good. Left 2 jackets in room and they had them and charged my credit card to have them returned. 7 weeks later and many phone calls they are keeping jackets and $$. Sad and unbelievable they are scamming me.

Right in the middle of Clearwater Beach, everything is within a walking distance.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, nice and clean rooms and the balcony had an awesome view.
I will for sure come back.

We have had reservations since December and due to the recent GLOBAL crisis had to cancel our trip. While both airlines were cooperative with refunding our money this place has chosen to only offer a reschedule. While that's nice it is not possible for us to do so, we have kids who are no longer in school for who knows how long. It's a shame that you all would treat a customer this way in the face of such extenuating circumstances. Restaurants all over the US are shutting down, all sporting events across the US… and on and on and you expect us to travel or lose our money!? Pfft.

Decent room and good location. But charged $20 A DAY for parking which is NOT stated on the site. Not cool. Water pressure in shower was also crap. The view we had was partial/no balcony — we had a king bed room. Breakfast was not impressive. I addressed the parking fee while checking out, I advised it is not listed on the site and pretty low to hit customers when they check in. We would not have rented a car knowing it would be the extra $20 a day. Staff didn’t seem to care and said there is nothing they can do to alter the fee charge. Would not stay there again.

Staff could definitely be more welcoming and friendly. Stains on bedding, when we asked for a new blanket it seemed like it would break the receptionist arm for her to get us a new one. Then we were charged total of $600 for no reason other than a mistake and had to wait a couple days to get refunded. You also shouldn't have to pay $20 per night to park in a hotel that you paid for! so many improvements could be made. However, the rooms and views were nice and quiet.

Pier House 60 was the perfect, affordable place to stay! Great location to the beach as well as lots of restaurants and shops. Fantastic staff, clean and spacious rooms!

Just stayed a week with Pier House! Great location. We had a harbor view room with a private balcony, we loved watching the boats! Hotel is very clean, family friendly, and staff was excellent! My kids favorite part each day was seeing which animal the housekeeper made for us! We will be back!

They have 2 elavators for multiple floors and stairs that go down only! It's suppose to be for security purposes, but there aren't any cameras and the elevators don't require the card like it says. We're pretty sure we watched an employee do a drug deal in the parking lot. We had to pay $21.40 a night to park our vehicle and the staff wasn't real friendly. Didn't make for a very pleasant stay.

2nd year staying there but this year we were charged 300.00 for than told when making reservations. Hidden fees and taxes. Don't mind paying for parking. Will find another place next year.

Had a fabulous stay! Room was clean and the view was perfect! We celebrated my daughters 5th birthday with a fun family weekend. The staff was so nice and we will choose to come back here the next time we stay at Clearwater Beach!

Crowded and very noisy. Awakened at 4:30 by loud vacuum from Pier parking lot. And we were 7 floors up. Elevators are slow and outdated. Not adequate for hotel capacity. Should not charge for parking. Room ok but not worth 300. Tiny, lumpy pillows on king bed. Threshold leading to room balcony is raised 2-3 inches and no warning posted. We both tripped. Very slow internet. Breakfast area too small for hotel occupancy. Will not return.

Had a great time. Staff is super friendly. Bar is always busy. Pool is small and kind of sucks. But the singing parking attendant is the best & sweetest guy ever! Nice place!

Great location right across the street from from the Pier 60 parking lot and exceptional views of the Beach from their rooftop bar restaurant. Pool and fitness center on premises as well. Walking distance to restaurants and literally right next to the boat activity stands. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend!

Had a great stay. Rooms were clean. Views were awesome from both our room and the rooftop bar. Only complaint is from the elevators. They only have 1 bank of 2 elevators in a 10 story building. When trying to get to our room on check in, we had to wait 3 different times as the elevators going up we're consistently full. Besides for this, it was great.

This hotel definitely makes a good first impression. Upon arriving we met the parking attendant who was welcoming and polite. The garage is the first 4 floors of the building, which was a little unusual, but being able to park your car on-site is nice and convenient. When we got to the 5th floor lobby, we were greeted with by the friendly front desk staff. Even though we arrived a couple of hours early, Michelle at the desk was nice enough to check us into a room at that time. There is a fee to park, which is 15 bucks a night, but compared to the other hotels in the area, that is actually not bad at all. We had a room that looked over the gulf. The view was awesome and we had a great time on the beach which is just across the street. I will definitely come back again. The staff is great and the housekeepers keep the hotel spotless!

Pier House 60 I am very disappointed with my stay. First of all we had trouble getting our reservations and the keys to our room, the pool area is AWFUL. I don't know what happened to it, but the construction should have been listed on the website. The pool grounds was dirty. I actually took a broom and swept the ground myself. The furniture was just thrown wherever. We had only 2 dresser drawers. I used to love this place, but I don't know now. Oh and OUR view of the top of the CLOSED down SEA CAPTAIN RESORT with all the junk in the pool didn't help either. Please do better. This is an EXCELLENT location. Can you fix these flaws?
Pros: The morning shift staff and cleaning staff were great. The bed was very comfortable and the water was very hot like I like it. The balcony area was very spacious. Need more storage in the rooms though. The rooms are clean and small

We had a wonderful stay at Pier House 60 which is located less than a 5 minutes walk to the beach and all the usual tourist attractions such as restaurants and boat tours. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful and the room — clean.

Can’t really complain about anything other than the price. Although it’s definitely worth it. About 1100$ for 5 days. Just wish the 15$ a day parking fee wasn’t added on top of the rooms fee. And it’s a great hotel. The employees are very VERY respectful, the housekeepers leave you random things to see when you come back from enjoying the beach, and the balcony overlooked the tourist water front area. Great view. Great room. Clean. Super comfy bed. Nice shower. I have no complaints! Was pleasure being here.

Great hotel. Only two downfalls — elevator situation is terrible! Timing on the elevators needs to be corrected. 2nd issue — they photocopy and/or take one of those old fashioned stamps of your credit card info. In this age of identity theft that needs to be stopped right away. It made me feel very uncomfortable that they had a copy of my credit card for all staff to access. The hotel, breakfast, and housekeeping staff were all wonderful.

Views are wonderful and the rooms are spacious as well as clean. Perfect location to the beach, restaurants and attractions. Love it… will come back and stay here again.

We stayed here for Mother's Day weekend and it was fantastic the room was nice and had great views only down fall there's one place to eat inside the restaurant and there's not a lot of choices no kids menu from what I saw and you do get a free breakfast but it wasn't that great it was all store bought items at seems like so we ended up having to go down the street to get something else to eat but the whole area is fantastic great shopping everything is in walking distance the staff there was so sweet and kind I definitely would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Clearwater area great views I can't say enough great things about Pier 60. They do charge you $15 for parking a day I had a few extra charges on my account which I'm still figuring out what that's from but other than that it was great definitely a memorable Mother's Day for me.

Stayed 3 nights with the family and we all enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were always very nice and check in was quite smooth. The hotel is very clean and close to everything. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

Third time in 4 years. Great view, great location to all the eats and bars. Super close to the beach. Can’t go wrong! Never been disappointed.

Hotel was nice and met our expectations. We were disappointed that the rooftop bar was not open at all our first night and opened some during the day but closed early on our second night. Weather was windy but we would have enjoyed a drink inside.

We stayed here for two nights. The walls were a little thin, and we could hear everything down the hallway and our neighbor, but overall it was a nice experience. The view was great, even though our side didn't have balcony's. The breakfast was okay, nothing special, and the TV didn't have a guide. Overall, we'd probably stay here again, it was very clean and the staff were fairly friendly.

Hotel cleanliness was outstanding! They also make cute animals out of towels and leave them on your bed so when you get back to your room it's a surprise as to what animal will be waiting for you. The hotel is near everything so you are in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I would stay here again!

We stayed here for my Sister-in-law's wedding a couple of years ago and loved it! Now we come back every chance we get. The Rum Bucket at Jimmy's Crows Nest is delicious!

Excellent hotel. Rooms are very beautiful. The only negative point is that Wi-Fi was not working properly.

This place was a complete disappointment. The breakfast is terrible. The egg whites & greasy sausage slices are uneatable. But the BEST was when the ROACH ran across the bed & ran between the mattress & headboard. They changed our room quickly but did not help us move our things to the new room. We choose to cut our stay early and headed back home.

Loved this hotel especially while ridding out a hurricane. 10 days at my home with no electricity. Clean rooms, employees so kind and the view amazing. Count down until sunset. Can watch from rooftop bar or shuttle will drive you to beach.

Stayed for new years eve 2017. The rooms seemed recently refurbished and we're generally clean. Walls let noise pass through easily. Overpriced for the amenities.

Very nice upscale hotel. I was surprised by the quality of everything for the price. So happy with our decision to stay here over other like priced hotels. Continental breakfast is worth the price of the room by itself and roof top bar with free rum shots at sunset is a must every night. I will stay here everytime I come to clearwater beach!

Room was nice and clean. Air conditioning was noisy but not a big issue of mine. Two elevators for the entire hotel and they are slow! The breakfast was very dissatisfying, small store bought donut holes, cold eggs and sausage in an open compartment, or bagels, cereal and toast. They overcharged my card after charging my sister's card, I only paid for an upgraded room fee and they ended up charging the whole room, parking fee and upgrade to my card. We had to wait till 9am for the "manager" Jane to get in. She was able to fix my card with out issue, but then said she needed my sister's card to charge it again. My sister's account still had it as pending, so another charge would cause it to decline, which she informed her of. We went back to the room to try to figure out my sister's card, and the manager decided to go ahead and charge my sister's card without her authorization. My sister got ahold of the card company, went back down to the lobby and handed the phone to Jane. She used my sister's phone instead of hanging up and using the hotel phone, but finally got the card problem fixed. My sister asked Jane for a higher name than her and she refused. Then kicked us out! I am 20 weeks pregnant, the stress was enough for that morning and then we were rushed out after spending majority of our morning in the lobby. I will always steer people away from this place, do not go if you like your money. Not worth the stress at all.

Hotel room was clean and large enough for 3 adults to comfortably stay in 2 beds. Continental breakfast was good enough with eggs, serveral types of breads and spreads, fruit and other common foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was neat, but beers were quite expensive so its recommend to eat and drink t one of the many other bars within a 5 minute walk. Great place to stay overal for the price.

The Hotel advertises a heated pool. They said the heater was broken. Would not have booked if I new this. The breakfast is not a full one eggs one day and grits the next. No sausage or bacon. A lot of bread no protein. The first three floors of the Hotel are a parking garage and they charge $15 a day which is basically a surcharge on your room. The room was clean and the view of the gulf was fantastic.

A great location within walking distance of Pier 60 and the beach. Right next to the marina plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Rooms are clean Hotel staff are nice.

The rooms are really nice and the people at guest services are friendly and helpful. They helped us figure out where to eat and called all the cruises to see what was available. Great location to beaches and shops!

It was a great hotel for the night. Everything was okay. Nothing stood out as fantastic but then nothing really stood out as bad. The room was clean, the hotel overall was clean. The location was the best part I think. It's right next to the tour boats, so from the pool you can see all the boats come and go.

Staff was friendly, cleanest hotel we stayed in while in Florida. The smell of the room was fabulous — — it didn't have the typical dingy hotel smell. Their pool was small but my son saw zero problems with it. Also, we were right near the marina which was cool because we could see the boats coming in and out. The biggest plus was we were able to walk everywhere because of its convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Pier House 60 Marina Hotel in June for my wedding. I am giving 2 stars because the hotel was nice, very clean, and the location was great BUT our wedding weekend was nearly ruined by our stay at this hotel. Before I begin, I would like to note that Kelsey at the front desk, the night security guard, and the security guard from the nearby Holiday Inn were very apologetic and tried their best to help us in any way that they could. I think the problem is MANAGEMENT, not necessarily the hotel staff! Throughout our ordeal we NEVER saw or spoke to a manager and a manager was supposed to contact us after we requested a refund but never did. In total we booked 4 nights in 1 room, 2 nights in a separate bridal party room, and our guests booked 2 rooms also. The first night was great but the second night, my husband and I returned to the hotel from our rehearsal dinner to find that we were locked out of our room. The room key would not work at all. After MULTIPLE trips down to the lobby and the night security guard trying to use master keys, we were told that we would have to wait for a person from another hotel to come and use a tool to open our door from the outside. When the man arrived from another hotel, he tried his master keys which didn't work and said he would have to go back to the other hotel to get a tool to open the door.

Had a little hiccup when checking in, but Carley made up for it. We checked in after midnight and were given rooms other than booked, but the next morning, Carley went above and beyond to make our stay, (after traveling from San Diego) wonderful. She made sure we got to stay where we were in an upgraded room and did so with a great attitude and quick service. The pizzas that she sent us for the mix up made everything great as the kids were so excited. The breakfast was good and the bar on the roof was a big hit for the family and the sunsets were awesome. We will definitely be back and our entire family had a great time. We had wonderful rooms overlooking the marina and beach and the service staff of Carley and also Colby went above and beyond.

Overcharged. Bartender said one price, billed another. Had the price confused from a bud light special. Didn't even order Bud light. Had the audacity to ask us for another round, declined. Great view though.

Very nice and clean hotel. Spent my first time ever in CWB at Pier House and it was a good experience. Friendly staff, awesome room. Everything worked. Only disappointment was the tiny kiddie "pool". And breakfast was also a disappointment, pretty bare when it came to options (cereal, toast, fruit, sausage…) I guess that's what free gets you. And as much as they advertise the rooftop bar, the scene was underwhelming and again not the best food variety…

Hotel was clean and well maintained the only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the breakfast was not very good.

My wife and I spent her birthday here and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff was courteous and the room itself was clean and fairly modern. We did the "countdown to sunset" event in the hotel's restaurant on rooftop which we highly recommend.

Room was reasonably priced, very clean & quiet with a beautiful view. Check was easy, the host was very nice, informative and efficient. Loved the roof top bar and the sunset tradition. Convenient parking garage. Would definitely stay again and would recommend others to stay there.

Booked a room for 5 days. Was kicked out due to them over booking with no compensation on my second day. The breakfast was horrible. The manager was a bumbling fool named J. R and I would highly suggest going anywhere else for your stay.

The rooms were very clean and well kept. The rooftop bar was a huge bonus! The only downfall was paying extra for parking and crossing the street to get to the beach. We would definitely stay there again!

Here in March of 2016. Great view — Best in Clearwater. Had some nighttime drinks and smoked a cigar. Music videos on the side of the building were awesome. Service was good, not great — although the drinks were good — try the mojito. Great little place and hope it stays long term.

This is the first bad review I have ever wrote here is my experience… Me and my fiance live in Orlando and we took a trip friday, Feb 12th 2016 to clearwater beach. It took us 2 and a half hours to drive there and we spoke with someone from pier house 60 marina hotel who informed us we could stay in a standard room for 189.99 for the night. We really enjoyed the pictures of the place and the price so we decided to head there. I arrived there at 6pm and was greeted by someone other then I spoke with on the phone and he told me the standard room would be $209.99 plus tax for the night. We already drove the whole way there and I decided to just pay the extra $20 but I would not pay more then $210 for one night at this hotel. It is DECENT at best but not top of the line. Now mind you I get a room with no balcony and a view of a hotel being built next door so at 6 am we get woken up by the heavy construction. When we go to check out at 10:30 am the following morning the young girl at the counter wants me to sign a paper for $252. They added $15 parking fee plus $15 on the beach tax (which it is not on the beach). I made sure to ask the guy twice what the total would be before going to my room and he stated just the $210 plus a $25 incidental fee that would be credited back if nothing was damaged. They charged my card $262 dollars and I was upset.

I give it 4 stars because of the location. High up above the beach where you get a nice view. They have a decent Cuban sandwich and the bar is good as well. Service could be a litter better in speed. I just think they need an extra server the existing servers are running around as it is.

The view in the restaurant is AWESOME! We didn't stay overnight just toured the building. But what we saw was great.

Very friendly staff, great location, clean rooms. Roof top bar is nice. Continental breakfast is slightly better then average. Room was very quiet. Balconies for the marina side rooms are very nice. We will be back for sure.

I would so give them 10 Stars if Available. We went this 4TH of July 2015, and to say that Clearwater is CRAZY is an understatement. Parking is Gone by 11:00 am. So these AWESOME Employees, Michael and Pepe went BEYOND Customer service and personally made it Happen! Got us parked, Took all issues and made them theirs, so we were TRULY on ISLAND TIME VACATION. I must also tell you these issues were not created by the hotel in anyway, I miss Understood the Check in Woman (Also Awesome). So it was MY error. They still FIXED IT. Wow. We travel A LOT and this by far was the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! OK now the Location offers it all, Beach, Marina, Breakfast, Roof top Bar with light food menu, pool overlooking Marina, rooms Clean and on top of all requests. Top of my Travel List as to Where to Stay! Thank you, We will be Back! Darcy and Steve.

The experience we had with this hotel as well as Clearwater in general was extremely disappointing. 1) The bar is open to the general public making it incredibly difficult for hotel guests to get a drink or enjoy the sunset view that they are so famous for. It is as very small. 2) There is no room service. So when it rained, we had to call a pizza for delivery or walk in the rain to get something to eat. They shut the bar down when it rained. 3) The bartenders hassled us for tips and let us know they worked for tips making our lunch and drinks uncomfortable and awkward. They also kept hounding us to "tab out" before they left for the evening. 4) The hotel did not mention the construction going on on their website. Our beautiful beach view without a balcony that we were suppose to have was disrupted by construction going on directly in front of our room. We woke up at 6am every morning to a crane and hammers tinking away. 5) The breakfast was awful. Well what breakfast there was. I have seriously had a better selection of food at an econo lodge. 6) We were charged for parking for one night for a rental car that was staying in their garage for literally maybe 6 hours. $15 for that. 7) The rooms were nice but the view was not that great. The hotel is also a little walk from the beach and of course you have to go around the construction. I just was not very happy with the hotel or my experience there. Customer service was definitely not that great.

Was great except for the man at the lobby desk yelling at two other workers telling them if he heard one more complaint they were done. This was their first and last warning. How unprofessional to be done out in public, there is a time and place behind closed doors for that. I hope both those ladies filed a grievance on him. Maybe the hotel should pay for the man to go to Supervisory classes. WOW very UNPROFESSIONAL to be done where all guests were staying.

I slept under the stairwell on the bottom floor for a week! BONUS TIME! FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET! FREE! TWO THUMBS UP.

After making reservations almost 6 months in advance and requesting 2 adjoining rooms, I called to confirm the reservation 2 weeks prior to arrival and was just informed 2 adjoining rooms can never be guaranteed? How absurd is this? That's the reason I booked so far in advance! One would think 2 prepaid rooms for 5 nights booked 6 months in advance requesting a room of choice would take precedence over someone just walking in off the street that day? We now see how Pier House 60 really cares about their quests. Never mind returning guests. If someone absolutely needs 2 adjoining rooms or would like to make a room request, they had better choose a more guest friendly hotel. I stayed here last year and enjoyed the stay but after such foolishness as I was just told re: my reservation, I hope everyone thinks twice about staying at Pier House 60.

Our family stayed here for 3 days and we booked a room with a coastal view. The view was very nice with the boats in and out of the harbor and the city in the background. With free Wi-Fi, free breakfast (egg, sausage, cereal, milk, juice, bagels, coffee, etc. ) and no resort fee save us some money compare to some of the bigger hotel next door that do charge extra for. The Marina is right next door so you don't have to drive, just walk over and enjoy one of the many boat rides they offer there. I recommend taking Captain Memo's Pirate ship tour if you have small children, it was a blast for my kids and the adults get to enjoy the ride with free champain and beer, but tickets is more expensive than other rides. For adults I recommend taking some other boat rides since it is alot cheaper. Hotel was built in 2012 so it is very nice and clean, and convenient. Walk to the beach, Pier 60, and shops and restaurants just across the street. They will charge $15 per night for parking but it's worth it since you don't have to drive to get to anywhere since you are in the middle of it all. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the swimming pool they have, it was small but I guess you have the beach so who needs the pool right. Staff is friendly and nice always smiling, especialy when house keeping makes the animals out of towels, it was cool. And they also have a roof top bar where you can sit and sip your drink and watch the sunset, it was the best. We had a great time there.

Rooftop bar is great. Sunset shots. Great atmosphere. Good prices.

Recently stayed at the Pier House 60. Excellent location within walking distance of all Clearwater Beach restaurants and attractions. The rooftop bar has great views. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the gulf. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again if in the area.

This hotel was awesome. Most hotels/motels on Clear Water Beach are old and out dated. Pier 60 offers an updated room and exterior facade. Guest services was fast and responsive to your needs. Pool area is small but was heated. The hotel is located in walking distance to Pier 60, shopping, boat tours, and dining. Would stay here again and again.

The management staff here is amazing. They are so accommodating. The location of the hotel is ideal for Clearwater Beach, and they are a relatively new hotel. Best deal in the area. I was impressed with everyone I spoke to.

Excellent value! Sure it's not the Hyatt Regency which is a block away, but it's also less than half the price (don't forget Hyatt hits you with a 'resort fee' at check-in for $25+/day that isn't in the quoted price). I'm a local and have been to the rooftop bar numerous times; it's a relative unknown compared to the 'tourist' bars that surround it, and thankfully the prices reflect that; i. E. Good (not weak) drinks at reasonable prices with an incredible view. I have no complaints; it's now my first choice when it's time for the wife and I to spend a night at the beach.
