We love this hotel. We have been staying here every year for the past 3 years. Great location and staff.

Ocean view rooms are amazing. Tiki hut is a fun place.

Nice, clean room, with an amazing view!

The front desk woman is hostile and belligerently unhelpful; the internet doesn't work; there are cigarette butts all over the patio, and the bathroom sink doesn't work.

Loved the view. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

The amazing staff at Atlantic Sands went OVER AND BEYOND our expectations when it came to our 10/23/21 Wedding! Clean Hotel. Would like to have more coffee in my room. But other than that well-maintained and very comfortable with an okay View.

The rooms are lively and set up nicely.

Great location, beautiful beach, right on the boardwalk and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. But very dated, needs a lot of work. The roof above our balcony was crumbling. I reserved a beachfront room, but was given a room with a partial view of the beach. The restaurant was not open. Beach chairs and umbrellas were not available as listed on the website.

Not Covid safe! Very uncomfortable for people who are trying to stay safe. A majority of the employees (the people who check you in and the people who cleaned the rooms) wore their masks correctly (covering BOTH their mouths and noses — which is the law in Delaware). There are signs about masks being required all over the hotel but the employees ignore them, which shows a complete lack of respect for the people they service. I will not recommend or return to the Atlantic Sands!

Excellent location and great service.

Location is excellent. Right off the beach, on the Boardwalk; clean rooms. Hotel needs upgrading of bathrooms, carpeting & lobby. Wi-fi was almost none existent in our room on the first floor. When I asked about it, I was told not to ‘stream’ (which I wasn’t’) and that ‘everyone is using it’ so that’s why it’s not working.
The TV also went in and out all the time & we sometimes had to turn it off, wait, and turn it back on, after getting a ‘lost signal’ error.
Convenient coffee shop right outside the front entrance. On-site restaurant at Boardwalk level was o. K. I would come back but only because of location.

Best Hotel in Rehobeth, and is Right on the Boardwalk-Great Views!

We wanted (and needed) a getaway at the beach. I'm not a lay-in-the-sand type and I've never liked crowds. The boardwalk was easy to travel without bumping into people. I say splurge for an oceanview so you can enjoy the crashing waves from your room.

Second time here, but this time not as satisfied as the last. Room accommodations are lacking. When the ac is on the room is filled with an unpleasant odor. There aren’t any pictures in the room… only holes in the peeling wallpaper. The small Juliet ocean view balcony cannot be used as it’s filled with water from the ac. There are also small gnats. The bathroom is lacking as well with a dirty drop ceiling and counter that is child height and not ada accessible as it’s too small!
This room is old and worn and not worth the cost.

The all-around best stay in Rehoboth, and such a friendly staff! If you want to be right on the boardwalk, with a pool, have covered parking, and your choice of many room/suite sizes, Sands is it. — We also want to thank Nikki for finding our son’s lost shoe, and offering to ship it home to us. Clean rooms, great service. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Roland at the front desk is the man! He helped us when we decided to stay an extra day. He made it happen. A simple thing like a decanter of fresh cold water diffused with lemons in the lobby that you can enjoy a refreshing drink or even fill up your bottle for a day at the beach! All around great place to stay!

The hotel was really nice, right on the beach, however the pool was too small for a hotel of its size. We stayed 4 days and were unable to use the pool, all the chairs were either taken or held for people at the beach… dont think I would go back for that reason.

The front desk staff was amazing. They were so welcoming and helpful. It’s obvious that customer care is instilled upon training, but so much extra was given because the right people were doing the right job.

It was me and my parents first time staying at this hotel we were very happy pleased excited and satisfied soon as we walked in the room on the 4th floor pulled back the curtains got a nice view out the window off of the Balcony of the ocean Beach and boardwalk it was breathtaking felt like we were in Heaven! Very nice rooms bedroom including the cute neat decorations and fireplace! Well kept cleaned even the staff was polite and friendly! Been to Rehobeth Beach several times we went every year in the summer time haven't been there since summer of 2001 til yesterday and today! First time going there in the fall it was nice peaceful and very relaxing watching listening to the ocean waves especially sleeping at Night also sitting on the Balcony! We loved it! Got to do what we wanted to do Had a good time also enjoyed ourselves it was a nice vacation we enjoyed it and our stay! There! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you all!

You can't beat the location. We had a great view of the ocean, and all the restaurants and shops are around the corner. The A/C in the room is nice and cold, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The place could use some updating. The worst things were that the toilet wasn't bolted down well, and the doors to the rooms are EXTREMELY LOUD when they close. Our neighbors shut theirs in the early morning and it woke me up. It is the off season, so I'm not sure how noisy it gets here when Rehoboth is in full swing. I'll probably try a newer hotel next time because of that.

Great boardwalk/beachfront location, easy access to everything. Free parking, no need to drive since everything was so close. Room was comfortable and clean, pool, bar, restaurants were all great. I'd go back!

You could tell they tried to keep the hotel rooms up-to-date. However, it's hard to update something like adding an additional elevator. Overall, I'd stay there again. It was right next to the beach.

Adequate, however some similarly priced hotels are better maintained. They could also use either some sound reduction materials or a set quiet time. Beds were comfortable and room seemed clean. Wifi was good despite the challenge of getting signals through a building like that. Both dining options on property were closed any time I had to try them so I can't comment there.

Just returned home from my fourth stay at the Atlantic Sands Hotel. As always, it was a pleasure. It’s always clean despite the busy summer season with sandy feet constantly circulating through the halls. The room rates are high, but you really do get what you pay for. The biggest selling point is the location, of course. You’re feet away from the beach and equally close to all the boardwalk attractions. We’ll be back next year!

I have stayed in a many hotel and not everything is perfect. This hotel has withstood the test of time. I love it here… close to the beach, rooms are clean, staff is welcoming. I will stay here every chance I get. Love it!

The hotel has upgraded considerably in the last few years. It is much better than it used to be. The location is great. Seated right on the boardwalk with a salt water pool.

Nice rooms, pool, bar, and a decent balcony. Found out there's a 1 car per room rule with no exceptions. A bit confusing layout to navigate through. Would stay again.

A very nice, clean hotel. I wish the pool was informed and heated, but overall a great place to stay!

The faucet was very hard to turn on in the bathroom vanity, the kitchen sink drain was plugged, one of the three lights above the kitchen sink were blown, no non skid in the bath tubs, very slippery, no grab bars in the bathtub to grab onto when you slip in the bathtub, microwave would not shut off on timer and the inside of microwave door was melted not sure what happened there, staff was blocking our departure at every turn will I get reimbursed for this room? not happening in my lifetime.

I went to a conference last weekend which was held here. The rooms were very nice. We had a 2 double bed. It had a separate living room area which had a pull out sofa and a sliding door. It was very clean. The staff were extremely nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it was a bit worn. Not the rooms but the property. But that is normal for a beach hotel. We will definitely go back. Within walking distance to the action too.

It's very nice clean rooms & bathroom & can see ocean from our balcony, not noisy, very quiet, snack & soda vending machines at end of hall for my son. Comfortable stay…

Cons : Uncomfortable beds. Ocean view room barely visible ocean. TV reception poor. Construction noise. Pros: clean room. Great pillows. Easy access to boardwalk.

I held a catered affair. Staff, food, decor and ocean view all fabulous! Chef Brian was amazing and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend for any size party, we had over 350 guests and it went without a hitch. First class all the way.

Somewhat aged (AKA retro) right on the ocean. The amenities are sparse in the winter but the cleanliness is outstanding & the staff are WONDERFUL. Bend over backwards to be helpful. Love to come in the winter for an overnight escape. The ocean views on a crisp day are captivating. Winter clothing! The boardwalk is delightfully uncrowded, but there are enough shops open to provide ample shopping & junk food time. Terrific Italian restaurant at the corner of 1st & Baltimore has several excellent 1/2 price entrees on Tuesday evening. Limited breakfast offerings anywhere nearby, so bring along some muffins & juice (fridge & coffee in the room) for breakfast on the balcony to watch the sunrise. With $99 for a nice room (AAA among several discounts-or just ask for a reduction, might work in the off season) & multiple discounts around town you can leave with room, dinner for 2, a t-shirt & box of salt water taffy for under $200. Treat yourself.

Perfectly ok accommodations. Nothing fancy or special, but clean and serviceable beach front getaway.

I attended a work conference here recently. The rooms were great for our purposes. Staff was friendly and the buffet was terrific! Always enjoy our meetings there.

Even the new renovated room I stayed in had an awlful odor, saw several bugs on walls, bedding was very low end, and staff was just ok. I would highly recommend Rehoboth Hotel.

Location is right on the beach. Beach-centered design with pool area near boardwalk and ocean. Seemed clean and staff were decent. Attended a social event so didn't see the rooms.

I love the hotel. The people were great. I was there gor a beach wedding and reception. Everything was great.

Pros: Location, view of ocean. Cons: Front desk were very "Unwelcoming" and unprofessional. No coffee or tea station in the lobby… my girlfriend wanted a cup of tea in the evening hours and they said we'd have to go buy a cup downstairs at the restaurant, where the manager met us at the door to say they were closing for lack of patrons. We were never informed upon arrival about the carts to help with luggage and where anything was located inside the hotel. Had to ask how to get to room… different elevators went other sections of hotel. When making our reservations, I asked and was assured a 4th floor room (not a particular room which I understood) and got a second floor. Only worth about a third of what they charge for the no-frills, unfriendly atmosphere. JUST because you have a good location doesn't mean you don't have to be hospitable, smile, or try to make customer's stay a memorable experience… you are in the hospitality business! Some may have saved for a long time to stay at what they "thought" was a great hotel. Appears run down and in need of new carpet in halls, paint, etc.

We come to this Hotel every year. We love the fact that this Hotel is right on the boardwalk. Also has a pool that is right next to the boardwalk and they have plenty of parking for your automobile. We also feel that the Hotel is reasonably priced for being right on the Ocean.

We stayed here for two nights. We had an oceanview room, but if available I would have liked an ocean view room with a balcony. We felt the rooms were a little expensive as it is an older hotel (dingy elevators, firm bed, dated decor, etc. ). What made this hotel a 4 star is the prime location on the beach and boardwalk with chair/umbrella rental for free, as well as the Atlantic Bar and Grill. It was shark week and the drinks were fantastic, prices very reasonable and service from Jason exceptional. Also, on Wednesday from 4 to 5 they had customer appreciation, which included some appetizers, wine and beer. It is a nice hotel for a stay at the beach if your primary concern is location.

We actually met up with friends staying there. Rooms are nice, but not over the top. Inquired regarding the cost per night and it was quite high. We met for drinks and dinner in the early evening. Everything was just so-so, nothing extraordinary. Again, the prices were quite high for the what we received. The staff had trouble keeping up it seemed, and our drinks filled. All in all, not terrible, but can't rave either. Our friends felt the same. As one put it, "I came, I saw, eh. "

Had my Daughter's June Wedding Reception at the Atlantic Sands. The event was 5+ stars! The food was FANTASTIC and the dinner portions for our guests were superb! Each of the Prime Rib, Chicken, and Vegan dinners were extremely fresh and flavorful! The serving staff was efficient and polite and extremely accommodating. Customer service was their Number 1 objective. Our event managers, Barbara, Joe, and Zoltan took care of EVERYTHING during the event, including clean up after an exciting evening of dancing with friends and family. Our guests, my Daughter and new Son in Law, her Mother and I could not be more happy with the event!

My boyfriend took me to this hotel because I had never seen the ocean. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR, we had a gorgeous view of the ocean from one window and a view of the boardwalk and beach from our balcony. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would.

I was there with a wedding party. I did not stay there however the hotel rooms were nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was held there the day after and the food was good.

Although not a luxury hotel, we found Atlantic Sands to have the best ratio of price to location. It's literally steps from the beach. The hotel looks a bit dated but the rooms were clean, the pool area was nice, and the staff was friendly. They provide free rentals of beach umbrellas and chairs. Overall I have no complaint with my stay and would stay there again.

Great hotel on the boardwalk. Very family friendly with well kept, clean rooms. TV's need an update but who comes to the beach for TV? Overall a great experience our 2nd year in a row.

Everything was clean. The buffet was worth the price. Appreciated the free umbrella and beach chair loan. Called to reserve room and only paid $200 plus tax. Overall very nice, no complaints.

Wonderful location! Right on the boardwalk. Couldn't have been closer to the water and to shops. Outdated bathrooms was the only negative.

It was right on the boardwalk and there was a good view of the ocean in the conference room. The room was nice visually, but the mattress and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and handled requests promptly.

We had a corporate meeting here. The food was AMAZING! They served us BBQ that was deeeeeelish! I travel all over the country for work… this food should be in a restaurant! Great service too!

Pleasant conference hotel; some of the rooms have balconies with an ocean view. Not too large, has a range of differently-sized conference rooms. Less than a block from the beach. Also has a small coffee shop that serves breakfast fare, smoothies and coffee through the afternoon.

Planning our daughter's wedding reception at the Sands. Fantastic people and very accommodating!

I do the Polar Bear Plunge Benefiting Special Olympics Delaware every year and the Sands host the registration! I love it!

The rooms were nice but we did not have hot water which kinda stunk be cause we payed extra to stay ocean side. But other than that we would stay there again.

Total sh! t pit… Yuck! Nasty room, nasty hallways, nasty bathrooms (plus the bolshevik style bathroom in our room) A/C in the room stunk like mold. Stains on the wall and ceiling… I felt like I was in the movie "vacancy" Felt like they had just filmed a porn movie there the night before… Puke me.

The worst ever. Unfriendly staff. Lighting at this facility is on life support. The room had a tacky feeling-like it needed a good cleaning. We asked for a room with a balcony, but they gave us a room with a slider, that opened to a railing with no balcony. We asked for Ocean front, but got pool side. The only thing going for this place, is that, it is on the beach. Very poorly managed. I gave it one star only because they don't offer a negative star. I give our stay at the Sands a negative three stars — ☆-☆-☆: They violated every reason for being in hospitality!

Nice time! Location was awesome right by the beach. I got a partial view of the ocean so when I woke up I saw the beach and waves. Reception was helpful could have been a little more enthusiastic. Wifi wasn't strong in our wing. The hallways could have had brighter lights but no big deal. Elevators kinda cramped but not bad. Pool was nice with lots of chairs. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Hotel rooms clean.
