Review of Hotel G San Francisco 4*

Our room was not serviced on Saturday. I went down to the front desk at about 3:30 pm and discussed this matter with them. I informed them that we would like to have the room serviced 1st thing in the morning on Sunday. My wife was in the room at this time on Saturday relaxing and I didn't want somebody going in the room disturbing her. On Sunday we returned to the hotel at about 3 o'clock pm and when we entered the room to our amazement once again, nothing had been done. So here we are 2 days into our stay and not once has housekeeping serviced our room. Meanwhile across the hall in room 715, that room was serviced both days. I know because my brother was staying there. So I marched down stairs to the front desk again and asked to speak with a manager. I was told that the manager was not available because she was on her lunch break. So later I came back and spoke with Laarni Ayson, the manager. She stated that she was looking into the matter and was trying to figure out what happened. I already knew what happened! For the 2nd day in a row somebody dropped the ball and didn't service our room after I requested it being done 1st thing Sunday morning. Later on we went out for the night and while we were gone the room was serviced for the 1st time since when we checked in on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately for me and my wife, our stay was not perfect and when I pay for a service I like to receive it. Never once did anyone try to compensate for this nor did anyone offer us the smallest thing for the major inconvenience! All we received was a sorry and that we are looking into the matter. Meanwhile it's my families vacation time and we are the ones that are inconvenienced. I expected more, it's not like we were staying at a Hotel 6 or Motel 8 or some $49.99 dollar a night type place like that. When we go on vacations we stay at nicer hotels so we can have a great time and a great experience, and frankly I can't say that this time for my stay at the Hotel G. It might sound like something small, however it's our time, our money and I expect better treatment and service from an establishment like this.
