Reviews of Travel Inn 2*
Very kind receptionist, told us about problems they had (bad previous rates based on previous receptionists). Renovated, clean room with our own bathroom (but the toilet wasn't working). There were sheets, blankets and pillows, also towels. Nice place, 10 minutes walk from the main churche. There is a kitchen but the guests can not use is. The price is ok.
Great stay during my first time in Iceland. Conveniently located close to downtown and the main bus terminal. Good rate. Excellent breakfast.

Located across the street from the BSI bus terminal it was convenient. When they say “simple room” they defiantly mean it. We received 1 pillow, blanket, hand towel, body towel, & water glass per bed as well as internet. No tv, phone, shampoo, ect. It was fine though as you should be out exploring the majority of your time anyways. There was a hand held showerhead, but nothing to attach it to the wall so you had to hold it the entire time. We walked from the bus terminal across the street to the inn. You have to walk around the building to find the entrance. Check in was interesting as reception is not staffed all the time. There is a door bell (not sure if it works) and a sign with a phone number. Make sure you know the country and area code as they are not listed. We called and it didn’t work (could have been our phone), but luckily the lady came home and checked us in. My issue with this property was an older gentleman (maybe the owner) and his treatment of guests. We came home one night to find a husband, wife, and teenager by the entrance trying to figure out how to contact the staff (same problem we had). I told them I would check to see if someone was in the office and they followed me in. There was an older gentleman at the computer who got up and started to yell at me for allowing them in. As he continued to rant about liability, he wanted me to kick them out and shut the door on them. He said to call the number on the door which they said they did.
