Family friendly atmosphere.

Hotel is Extremely clean and a shorter walk to Disney than states online.
I chose a Hotel that had a indoor pool and spa for the kids and the spa was closed. A huge bummer was No Free Breakfast due to Covid. A huge help was a 7 Eleven Mini mart is right next door with food. This hotel sits across from a Walgreens and CVS. A I hop breakfast is a few doors down, but Coco's breakfast is Nice and cheaper. In other direction a few doors down farther, but still on your walk to Disney.

Was very clean and very friendly they have a good costumer service.

Great hotel for families. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet is a circus even if you go early and food is meh.

From the moment We walked in I did not feel welcomed. Staff needs to work on their customer service skills. No shuttle service you pay extra for parking. Also breakfast was horrible cold and basically muffins and juice. For what we paid at this place it should be a way better breakfast selection. Also front desk wouldn’t lend me a pair of scissors ✂️ to cut down my son’s brand new shoe insoles. My room had knives but they couldn’t lend me a pair of scissors ✂️ for 5 mins. They told me to purchase some at a nearby store. Wow I will never stay here and will definitely tell my family and friends not to as well.

Perfect location, very near to Disneyland and other commercial areas.

Fantastic accessibility to the Disney Parks, downtown Disney, and many dinner options within the area. Rooms were clean and we'll kept, and we even got a free upgrade! The pool was great and the noise level was quite low considering the location and the get clientele (families with kids). The hot breakfast was also fantastic! We will be staying here again soon!

Pictures of the hotel are deceiving. I spent two nights in "one suite" and it was really standard. I also reserved for one kind bedroom but got two queen size beds. The elevator was really sketch. You have to take an certain elevator to reach the second floor because not all the elevators will go to the same floor. Breakfast was like any other. Kids running through the hotel day and night good luck sleeping.

I am looking forward to book my next stay in this hotel again, Desert Palms is the best that could have happened to me in this trip to Disneyland. I don't think the star rating of hotels best describe the experience one can have, I've been to 4 star hotels and had an awful worse experience, the Desert Palms is 3 stars but the experience was 5 stars! First of all, there was a minor issue with the room I got (too noisy due to several sources) but I got it changed in no time with no questions asked in the reception, forget about doing that in a 4/5 star hotels without major burocratic BS or running the credit card again and getting screwed with a different rate. Second, we got upgraded and the staff is super responsive, we had someone come to the room and check the fridge (it was set low and barely cooling). Third, they had the best price by far of any other hotel plus the location, can't be beaten.

This was by far the best hotel service we have had! The rooms were clean, everyone was happy. We even got a free upgrade and stayed in a great suite that felt like an apartment. We were literally around the corner from Disneyland which made it super easy to get there. Thanks so much!

Nice clean lobby. Room was good sized. Ac was cold. Bed was comfortable. Clean modern bathroom. My issues was with the window coverings. They are shutters and let light in the room all night. We had a light in front of our window. Decent free breakfast.

Great service and great prices. Was there with my 5 kids and got the family suite. Not only did it come with 2 queen beds and a fold away couch bed, but it also came with a kitchen. Yes a kitchen that had a good size fridge, stove and sink. It was like saying at an apartment. Would definitely stay again for my Disney travels.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. And we travel A LOT! Don’t plan on sleeping! There will be screaming kids running the halls, banging doors and what sounds like throwing furniture at all hours of the night (for 2 out of 2 nights)! Don’t bother calling the front desk either because they won’t do anything about it (for 2 out of 2 nights)! Rooms are outdated and we found bugs. Breakfast is a joke and is cold. What a disappointment for the money we paid for 2 nights to be overly tired for our first Disneyland experience. We will never stay here again! Here’s a suggestion. Enforce quiet time hours for your guest who paid to get a good nights rest!

Rooms are nice and pretty big. Hotel is easy to get to and close the Anaheim Garden walk. About a 10 min walk to the parks which is very convenient. One complaint is the layout of this hotel. I feel like I am in a corn maze sometimes because certain elevators go to certain floors so you choose wisely. Overall will certainly stay again. Friendly staff great locatyand nice rooms make up for the layout of the building.

Stayed at this hotel 4 yrs ago. They are amazing. Awesome breakfast, comfortable beds, awesome pool, just a beautiful hotel, loved the room serve us. When we arrived we found a elephant made out of towels. It was such an awesome surprise. We are planing a trip again soon and hope to be staying here again. Very close to Disneyland :)

This place was fab; they honoured our online discount when we extended our stay, allowed us to remain in the same room instead of moving us around and even upgraded us to a luxury suite. Good breakfast, nice pool and super close to Disney… What more could you want?

Comfortable room. Very usable kitchen to save on eating out. Walking distance to Disneyland and California Adventure. 4 of us in suite. Younger set got along on fold out bed, so both couples had privacy. Maid service unloaded dishwasher for us! Would stay again.

Wasn't horrible. It was a good place to stay rooms were nice. But if you are near the pool it can be a tad bit loud till it closes. As for the continental breakfast they fail badly. Don't expect to much… The cereal might be the best thing they provided.

Location was great. Rooms were clean. The variety in breakfast was nice. One thing I didn't like was that we could hear a lot through the walls. We could hear our neighbors TV like it was in our room and everyone that walked by in the halls. Would stay again though.

We stayed at the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites for a week while visiting Disneyland and Universal Studios. Our room was comfortable and worked well for what we wanted — a place to crash out after long days in the park. Staff were helpful and professional and housekeeping did a great job. The pool felt unheated, so we didn't make much use of it. The free breakfast which was a deciding factor was not very good — just standard hotel free breakfast fare. The parking lot seemed much too small for a hotel of its size, even with the garage. Once I had a space I dreaded leaving because they go fast. The hotel is right behind California Adventure, so you're pretty close, but after a full day in the park the walk felt much longer than it actually was. All in all this seems like a good hotel if you want something affordable, clean, and close to Disneyland with free parking and breakfast. Watch out for the person in the lobby trying to sell some sort of timeshare though. That is totally lame.

Clean hotel. Stayed few days for a conference. Friendly staff. Slept very well. Close walking distance to Disneyland. CVS and Walgreen just across the street if you need to grab a quick late night snack. Few restaurants around the area. Overall had a nice experience staying at this hotel. Will definitely choose this hotel again.

Best off property hotels… Walking distance from the park… rooms are alway in pristine condition. If your a big family they have full-size bunk beds top and bottom. The breakfast leaves you a little disappointed, but its free so you cant really complain!

Desert Palms Hotel and Suites is a great hotel. Wonderful service and only a 10 min walk to Disneyland. Also it's only a 10-15 min drive to Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park. Very comfortable hotel rooms. The beds are never like it is at home so I had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. We were told that the breakfast was going to have bacon, sausage, eggs, bagels, etc. But none of that was there, what was there was "make your own mini waffles", cereal, overcooked eggs with small ham pieces and toast bread. So decided to skip breakfast for the rest of the stay. Other than that, just the fact that you're so close to everything just made the trip that much more enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

Staff were kind and facilities were kept clean. Lots of options for different room accommodations. Great location being a 10 minute walk to Disneyland and next to other conveniences such as 7/11 and Walgreens. The pool and hot tub aren't very big but are very enjoyable.

This is a hotel I recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay in Palm Desert. Even though it’s privately owned they upkeep is on par with what can be found at larger style chain resorts. Management and staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are always clean and modern.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet could be a little better, but not terrible. Very close walking distance from Disneyland and the gift shop sells a lot of the same merchandise as Disneyland for a lot less. I suggest getting a bus transit pass. One of the bus stops that drops off at Disneyland picks up right out in front the hotel. Hotel is close enough to walk, but we found that after walking around Disney all day, it was nice to kick back on the bus on the way back.

Check in a breeze, pool party noise is awful. They were so kind and polite at check in. Room was clean and ready for us. The yelling and screaming at the pool at night, however, is untenable. It's so loud in our room I feel like I'm poolside. I called down at 8pm and they told me there really isn't anything they can do because it's not their quiet hours. DO NOT get a room that is inside facing/over looking the pool. The noise is reflective off the building too; makes it even louder than necessary. I would give this place a 4* but noise is a big factor as I rent a hotel room to SLEEP. They also have a "concierge" desk that is nothing more than an individual attempting to sign you up for a timeshare presentation with another local venue. After signing up to see the presentation (signed agreement) she added in a charge for "deposit". Actually wrote in things after signing the agreement. Cancelled that real quick.

Rooms are clean and large. The design is modern. Service is great. Hotel is walking distance from Disneyland. Hotel is very child friendly. Only downside is the pool looks very clean, but the water definitely needs to be refreshed… Then again, I've yet to see a public pool that wouldn't get the same complaint.

Nice spacious room and very courteous staff. Incredibly helpful with our questions about the area. Near a TON of restaurants and convenience stores, felt very safe walking in the area. Great for families, okay for couples or adults. (We were on our honeymoon anf our king room had a separate room with a bun bed we didn't use. )

I am pleasantly surprised how great this hotel is compared to other hotels in the area my family has stayed at for the holidays. This hotel has the best staff! The front desk is always smiles and helpful, even when there are a ton of check ins or check outs. The concierge took the time to give us full details on Disney times, local eats, and a check in gift. Granted we didn't need tiny shampoo and conditioner but hey a free gift is still free. She also told us about a way to get a free hotel stay to extend our time which was cool. The pool is heated and the rooms are very comfy. Parking is above, behind the hotel or underground in the garage. I do recommend having them hold your bags to not get the extra early check in charge. And if you need to use the restroom and the front desk is busy go to the concierge because they have a key you can borrow until you have your room key.

We only stay at this hotel everyone we come to Disneyland. They always get everything right on our reservation, everyone is always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast they serve is delicious. We won't stsy anywhere but this hotel. Also there rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was as described. It was in close walking distance to Disneyland (less than 10 minutes). The hotel staff was very helpful and professional. I'd recommend this hotel to friends and family for sure, we'll definitely be staying here again. Thanks for making the most magical trip even better.

Check in was a breeze, as was check out. The staff were very helpful. The fitness center is pretty barebones: a treadmill, an elliptical, a couple of weight machines and some free weights. The free breakfast was tasty and hot. Seems like they have two main offerings and swap between the two every day. You can also make your own waffles. That was really good. They had different flavors of waffle mix daily (strawberry, blueberry, cinnamon). The room was very clean and looked pretty modern. I would guess that it was renovated relatively recently. My one complaint is the layout of the king sized bed room we had. The vanity was located out in the room and not in the bathroom. It was strange to me to walk out of the bathroom to wash my hands or get ready in the morning. We got over it really quickly as the week passed. The hotel is very close to the Disney resort. A short ten minute walk got us to the park. We were very pleased with this hotel.

The Desert Palm hotel is very nice and clean. Friendly staff and a nice continental breakfast. Our room was very clean and seemed to have been redone recently with nice finishes. It takes about ten minutes too walk to Disneyland. The only thing that I would complain about is the room set up. There is no sink in the bathroom?! Though there is space for one. The only sink in the room is part of the kitchenette. We asked to switch our room but they only had similar rooms available. Again, the room was very nice but the layout was weird.

Very impressed. The room was modern and exceptionally clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. The proximity to Disneyland a big plus. Free parking and free hot breakfast is the cherry on top. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean and we'll appointed with excellent customer service and amenities. The room options are great for all different sizes of groups and families, the breakfast is top notch. It's an easy walk to Disneyland. The only downside is the pushy vacation club sales pitch you may encounter from time to time in the lobby. After staying at many different hotels around Disneyland this has easily become our top choice.

I stayed at the Desert Palms Hotel And Suites on 9-10 through 9-17, 2017, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was great a long with the breakfast. I got there to check in, the person that helped me was very nice and helpful. It is a easy 10 minute walk to Disneyland. And also if I had any questions no matter what time it was they would do there best to help. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Rooms and lobby are clean. Free breakfast was good. TVs are big. Staff was friendly. Loved the infused water in the lobby. Close to Disneyland and California Adventure (walking distance). Hallways were warm and elevators were a bit weird to get to the breakfast from certain floors. All in all we definitely would come back!

Excellent service at the Front Desk for check-in and check-out. The pool is very nice and in an outside courtyard. Breakfast bar was fantastic — waffles, a selection of hot food, cereal, yogurt, etc. This was an easy 19 minute walk to Disney.

Location is good and close to Disney. Our room was mostly pretty nice. Clean, decent TV, working air conditioner. Biggest problem was the shower, which was barely functional. Wi-Fi was provided but was very slow. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel.

Desert Palms Hotel is a nice hotel. The walk to Disneyland isn't too far. Probably a 10 minutes walk. The rooms are nice. We stayed in a king size bed and bunk beds. There are 2 tvs in the room we stayed in. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was being able to hear people in the hallway very clearly as they walked by.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and although we didn't do much staying in the hotel everyone was great there! We got to Anaheim almost 3 hours before check in and they allowed us to check in early. Free Wi-Fi and parking, which saved us a lot of money and data. Breakfast buffet was pretty good nothing to fancy but got the job done. Room was cleaned daily which was nice. Nice sized fridge, we got the 2 queen size bed room with the couch and table and that was nice and gave us a little extra room. Only downside was the tub didn't drain so well. Would most definitely stay again when we go to Disneyland!

Pretty nice hotel. Rooms were clean but small. I couldn't get a stroller between the bed and the dresser. Walls are thin as you could feel people walking down the hall which would wake me up every night. The staff was a bit rude (don't lose your room key), and they tried to sell me something with another hotel down the street which was a bit odd. Breakfast is good, but I don't think I'll stay here next time.

Ok for short stay except having limited parking space. Only 1 carpass per room, and no option to pay extra for at least an extra carpass. Got a 2-bed studio suite. No food place other than the bar downstairs. Lobby is relatively clean but doesn't smell fresh… not foul but not very appealing.

We are ending a 5 night stay and enjoyed our time here. Downside is that our King, Double bunk room is very dark. Also, very little room to manuever around the main room with the King bed. With 6 people in the room it gets to be tight… although we didn't spend a lot of time in it anyway. The space between the bunk and the wall is full of garbage… kind of gross. Showers were not hot, it took about 10 minutes to get warm water and the tub didn't drain well. Aside from that, staff was extremely friendly, breakfast buffet outstanding, pool area was clean and fun. We loved being so close to Disney as well as right across from CVS and Walgreens. We appreciated the larger fridge in the room and the laundry area on our floor. Free parking was a plus as well. We'd stay again, but may opt to upgrade if the room wasn't so dark and tight. A great place for kids. And, again, the staff was fabulous, all around!

Our experience there 3 years ago was good. Walking distance to the Disneyland and Adventure Park. Free parking and variety of food for breakfast. Swimming pool and hot tub. Small living area in our bedroom. It was nice. We really enjoyed staying there and going back next year.

First of all, the good. Clean room, wide variety for breakfast. Now the bad, when we got here on a Monday, things looked great. On Tuesday morning the construction began. They actually put us in a room right next to the tearing down of bathrooms and then new tile being cut. Do you know how that sounds at 8 in the morning? We do! I also have video. Since we were already settled in, we thought we would just let them know when we left and hopefully get a discount on the room. When we spoke to the front desk, she pretty much said it was our fault that we didn't say anything. Wow, talk about great customer service! No accommodation and not even an apology what so ever. Just pay us and go. That was definitely the kicker on top of only one ice machine that worked in the entire hotel. Don't think you are going good to view the fireworks from the beautiful deck as well. It's closed at night. My kids were going to enjoy the area arcade and that was shut down as well due to painting/construction. It was such a disappointing stay. The only way I would stay here again is when it is under new management because this management could care less.

Overall location to Disneyland is great. Hotel restaurant has good food, decent portions. Pool is nice and shaded (courtyard pool) but a bit small. Room is nice but the break down into two living spaces makea both very small (yuha kids suite). Lot of renovation going on. Our AC was a real challenge as it was set up to only run if there was motion in the room. This meant it got very hot during our trips to disney and hot at night. Took 3 calls / visits to front desk to get it fixed. Breakfast was ok and reasonably managed. Overall we would stay here again but might consider a place with a larger room.

I loved this hotel! Very retro and affordable! I will definitely stay here again! They have a wine hour… when we checked in the clerk poured us a glass of wine and it was delish. Everyone is very friendly and professional! The rooms are clean and colorful! Love… love… love this place.

Not bad, but not great either. The positives: the staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was clean, and the walk to Disneyland is pretty short. The negatives: the floor we were staying on was under construction (it was extremely loud and the smell of paint was overwhelming) and the room design is frustrating.

We got stuck in a room in the middle of construction. It was dusty, tarps on the floors and workers were starting at 7am. My wife and I have been coughing. People probably enjoy the proximity to Disney so the hotel gets away with charging what they do for mediocrity.

Very close to Disney, 5 minutes walking. Simple breakfast with bagwls, waffles, cereal, egg, potato, bread box, milk and non-natural juice. Small regular with microwave and refrigerator-size rooms. I would go to the hotel.

Location to disneyland is good, just a short 10 — 15 minute walk to the park. The kid suite we reserved was smaller then expcted, stain on carpet, doorframe to bathroom is rusting, wall has drywall showing, room smells like feet, bed to door is close and can go with other little issues. The free continental was decent and the staff was constantly refilling.

We had a great time. We were allowed to park before check in and after check out at no additional charge. The rooms are nice, breakfast was good and Disneyland was a short walk. We have no complaints about our stay!

It was a good experience staying with you during the NAMM show between Jan 20th (check in) to Jan 25th. (check out) I was in room number 318. My experience was amazing just one thing got me pissed off. The hotel room was great, two beds and separate sitting area. Free breakfast which I loved. I didn't have to worry about where to go eat in the morning. It filled our family up. You could take it to your room if you wanted to. Walking distance to Disneyland, which was excellent for having two small kids. Parking was easy to find too since we didn't take our car to Disneyland. My only issue is other people who have issues complaint about kids running around. Yeah you are at a hotel where their will be kids. I got a complaint saying we were too loud. Mind not wasn't even late. To those adults who find it so inconvenient, look for another hotel. Overall I recommend this place. And will be staying here again when I visit Disneyland.

I'm a fan of this location because it is within walking distance of Disney and there are also a couple of convenience stores nearby. This hotel has free breakfast which is actually pretty good (if you don't mind making the waffles yourself). One con against this particular facility is that I found it somewhat loud. It didn't really bother me but it is something to consider. I found the staff to be overall quite pleasant.

I have been in a lot of hotels and this one was the worst! It is so noisy that I couldn't sleep, and the family above us stomped across their room constantly, keeping us up very late and waking us up very early. This wouldn't have been so bad if the front desk had done anything about it, but after 2 complaints had no result, I stopped trying. Of course since we were at Disneyland, we couldn't hang around the room all day waiting for a new room, so we just had to suffer. We were also next to the elevator and stairs, which have no sound dampening. When our kids tried to turn on the heater in the middle of the night, it made the fire alarm go off in their room. The whole experience was awful. And after I complained twice about the noise above us, you'd think the front desk would offer a discount upon check-out, right? Nope, the guy at the desk didn't even so much as ask me how my stay was. I seriously hated this hotel.
