Love the live music on Fri and Sat evenings. So fun to eat at Pete’s for dinner and cocktails and listen to excellent bands. We go every weekend with friends and have a blast!

Beautiful hotel, we stayed here during our California trip, location is great, beachfront and restaurants/bars are very close by. Service in the restaurant was superb, breakfast options were delicious, we tried almost every option during our stay! We opted for Valet parking, it’s not cheap at an additional $45 dollars a night, but worth it in my option, as service was always prompt and organised. I loved the hotel so much that I even ventured back for a spa day a few days after we’d checked out.

Great location. Great hotel gym. Fire pit rooms are fun and by the pool. Main Pool is large and nice.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, very tropical. We had a very nice room over looking the pool and a partial view of the beach. Extremely friendly staff through the entire hotel. The food was delicious. The stores were very nice. Loved having Starbucks inside the shop. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The overpass beach access was great. It was so nice to have umbrella, chairs and towels for the beach. Overall very impressed. We can’t wait to come back.

This place is just amazing. It’s staff and amenities are top notch and it reminds me of Cancun.

I really would love to thank the staff at the Huntington Beach Hyatt for returning my travel set to me. I was very upset with the fact that I lost my cashmere blanket and pillow. I called a week later and they said they indeed had it. I loved my stay there (even though it rained all weekend) and the staff was over the top attentive. Again, I want to thank the staff for there honesty and putting it in the lost and found so I may retreve it. Looking forward to our next stay.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach resort is located in a spectacular location. It is the only hotel with direct beach access (no street to cross or driving necessary) and offers complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to the guests who choose to go to the beach. If sand and ocean waves is not your thing, stay on property with outdoor pools and plenty of kids' attractions and activities. The grounds are meticulously cared for and the hotel staff is friendly and courteous. This hotel is one of our favorites to stay at. Now for our one dislike but others will find this as a plus. The hotel is not necessarily a place for a romantic getaway. That's why my wife and I go without our children, but the hotel has done such a good job of offering upscale accommodations with family friendly attractions there are little kids everywhere. (Not exactly what we want when we are on a weekend getaway from our own children. ) So I can say, if you are a young family who appreciates quality, this is my recommended place to stay in southern California.

We stayed here in mid-August 2018. It was absolutely amazing! Great food, Great service, Great drinks, Great bed, Great room (suite). Most importantly to me, a quiet but strong AC. I slept like a rock every night. The house keepers were quick, courteous and competent. Pool was clean and the perfect temperature. Beach Chairs, Umbrellas and Towels are waiting for you, at no charge, at the beginning of the foot bridge to the bleach. Yes, you do need to cross highway 1 to get to the beach. But only the Hyatt has that bridge. And it’s not a long walk, worth every step. The only thing about our visit to California I did not like is; I wish we spent more time at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach.

Wonderful amenities and also very family friendly! A group of us stayed here for a work event. The hotel is situated right across the street from the beach. Beautiful resort and wonderful service with a smile from everyone employed there. The bed was extreme comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. I will definitely be back for both relaxation and work purposes!

Beautiful resort! Fabulous staff! Everything about our stay was nothing less than Fantastic! The room was lovely, the pools are awesome, the beach availability was a great bonus (chairs, umbrellas etc. ) all there and very accommodating to your needs! The front desk, Amanda, she’s truly a professional and does a great job answering questions, giving suggestions and providing excellent customer service! This young lady sets the bar for professionalism! Please bring Rusty Pelican back to SD beaches!

Excellent Beach Resort! Great for family with any age kids or for people without kids. Great kids pool area with slides and lots of activities. Great location with shuttle to the downtown area ($3 round trip). Fantastic breakfast buffet! Bridge to the beach. Full beach services including food delivery to your chair on the beach! Excellent staff everywhere. No disappointments.

Spent the day at the pool… great location with views of the ocean, however the view was partially blocked with low vegetation along a glass wall. Suggest this could be redesigned to take advantage of the view to the ocean. It was a packed afternoon and it seemed like there was only one server attending to the entire pool so service for drinks required patience and proactive signaling. Drinks were strong and well balanced for my taste. Also, the chicken nachos were the best hotel pool nachos I've ever had… not one piece of chicken was dry… and the portion was huge. On a separate occasion, we did eat at their restaurant for dinner and food was surprisingly good… will have to come back to try the Sunday brunch to see how that goes.

Honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever attended. I was there for a work conference and had a fantastic time. Huge pool and spa grotto area next to a koi pond. Huge TV in the room with a really comfortable bed. The list goes on. Great stay.

Had a few problems this time around. At check-in they didn't show my regency club upgrade. I upgraded when I received an email from them offering it and proceeded to follow the process, even receiving confirmation. It took showing the confirmation for them to honor it. We also had an issue with the valet locking the key in the van. I didn't appreciate the interruption by the pool asking if I have an extra key. They were able to get in shortly after. I'm not sure I want to know how. I still gave a 5 star rating because I'm at the resort often and this seemed to be an off experience for them. Everything else went smoothly and the pool service at Slyders was great!

On the final week of a 3 week visit and we have had a fantastic time so far. Thanks to Connor on the front desk for looking after our super room. Views are great, pool and food exceptional. Valet parking is pricey at $39 (+ taxes) per night — which is more than my Jeep Grand Cherokee rental for 20 days! The beach service is great. The staff are all super helpful and fantastic. Food in Pete’s and Pizzeria is very good. Kids are loving the pit fires and s’mores in the evening. Highly recommend visiting.

So much to do just at the resort. Beautiful setting on the beach. Extended our stay by 2 days because we were having so much fun. It's clean, quiet and the staff has been great thus far. Only down side is parking. $39/ day Valet or at the beach for $15/day but closes at 9pm. If not for that would be nearly perfect.

The front desk was almost busy, took awhile to get a hold of them. My family and I booked 2 nights here, the first night was okay, but towards 6 am in the morning of the first day, there was some knocking above us waking us up. We went for breakfast outside of the hotel (everything is expensive), came back around 10 am, and there was full on pounding, drilling, and construction going on. They should have given us an advanced warning. We did end up getting our room moved. Loved the complimentary beach chairs and towels. It was a nice scenic view from the hotel.

Really great magnificent location just across the beautiful Pacific Ocean, with a great Spa and gorgeous pools, to exercise every day after a hard day at work. Restaurantes with culinary delights, that remind you, that California offers a great variety of seafood, in creative ways but specially with an outstanding service Stay there one night and you would like to stay there forever! But, people working there need to be trained well, to be polite, courteous and most important willing to be helpful with persons that are challenged in any ways of forms, heard awful things of a lady with cerebral palsy, not fair for her or her family, that's the reason given 4 stars, instead of 5!

This resort is nice. The environment was relaxing, the staffs were courteous and the food was great. There is a bike rental shop right on the hotel premises. There is direct access to the beach via a pedestrian bridge from the courtyard of the resort. It would be better if the hotel is right on the beach though. Anyhow, I would still recommend the hotel if you want to enjoy a nice r & r.

Rooms were cozy and well maintained. They are renovating so you’ll likely stay at a fresh new room with all of the amenities and upscale features. The staff was incredibly helpful and always eager to assist — with a smile. The hotel has it all — restaurants, convenience stores, beach gear rentals, conference center, etc. Location is amazing with a convenient highway overpass walkway that takes you directly to the beachfront.

Wonderful staff and helpful personnel who understand hospitality. We were taken care of as soon as we stopped the car at the entrance. Rooms were clean with no extra scents of air fresheners. The hotel provides umbrellas, beach chairs, and towels, and on weekends there is usually a market or an event in the parking across the street. Please inspect bed sheets and replace torn sheets, as it's not becoming of the Regency brand to have torn bed sheets used.

Very nice hotel with a private walkway over the highway to the beach. The restaurants and amenities are great. Some of the rooms are located quite a walk away from the front lobby and are in need of a remodel, but are generally well kept. I would definitely recommend staying here and will likely return. Update (4/12/18) : Many of the rooms are currently being remodeled. While some of the construction is noisy during the day, the upgraded rooms are well worth the growing pains. The new rooms and fixtures are great and make this place even more worth the price. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

This hotel is satisfactory. King room is large with desk and couch for reading. Bed comfy enough. There are really only 2 restaurants, with limited menu items. Definitely not high end. The hotel has many families with both children and dogs. The shuttle service is great, although there is a charge for using it. It takes you to either the pier, downtown or Pacific City shopping Centre.
Supposedly there is a concierge, but she/ he never seems to be at their desk.
Maid service came before we were up and runnning and said she’d come back later, but never did.
The hotel is located on a very noisy Pacific Coast highway with motorcycles.
The spa services and overnight parking are very expensive.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you desire a relaxing, stress free holiday.

We had a very large family dinner and the food and service were impeccable. Amazing atmosphere md view and a wonderful guitarist playing set the mood perfectly. Highly recommend!

Great Hotel! We have come from Australia and a great place to relax at while we catch up on jet lag before we continue our adventure in the USA. Kids love it. Pools fantastic. Staff are more than helpful. Food and drinks top class. Outside of resort plenty of local shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

The best hotel in Huntington Beach.

A lovely place to spend vacation. Good restaurant and it serves Starbucks. However their coffee, the one they serve at the restaurant is horrible. Rooms are big and with balconies. Overall an excellent experience.

A great view to walk with the family.

I loved staying here. The pool is amazing, its an Olympic size and perfectly maintained. There's always cabana's open and lots of servers. The staff here is amazing and they hand out towels every time you get out of the pool, its a really nice touch. They also have a bunch of hot tubs (like 7 of them) that are all private and separated by rocks and landscaping. They also have several restaurants and shops inside of here.

Great service! Loved the renovated room. The service manager emailed me prior to check in asking if he could help with anything, 2 days prior to check-in, we find out our son could travel with. I emailed a request to change or room configuration, but due the time until checking in, didn't think it would happen. I was emailed back the next day that my request was taken care of. Service is always better than 5 stars, should have some 5 diamond ratings for the Huntington Beach Hyatt team would get them.

I was a little unsure when the concierge level king room I booked was a double with a king and queen bed. They tried to convince me that my room was better than a king room because it had a bigger bathroom and walk in closet. I'm not sure since I have nothing to compare it to, but for a Valentine's weekend, it took some of the romance out of it. Overall, the hotel is very nice, the spa is lovely, and the dining was great. The bartender at the Watertable made a delicious Ramos Gin fizz for me; a very hard to find cocktail. I would definitely come here again.

Good location, very close to the beach.

It's a really nice hotel. There are multiple spas and pools to go to in the resort. Also there is a bridge that leads straight to the beach which is very convenient! Great area and place.

Great new renovated rooms. Friendly staff. Valet parking only, but is better than parking on the beach. Stayed overnight for my cousins wedding. Great venue.

Nicest place I've stayed in a while. Rooms were immaculate. The staff was very accommodating and was able to move us to a view room with no problem. Restaurant food was slightly overpriced but decent. Absolutely would stay here again.

Pete's Bar and Grill very classy bar none. All of the servers waitresses and bartenders were excellent. But one person that stands Above the Rest is Ashell, his example should be textbook his hospitality is the best we have all seen and will come back just because of his hospitality and service.

An impressive resort right on Huntington Beach, the amenities and service is phenomenal. Welcoming and helpful staff always delivered. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pacific City out door shopping centre is nearby packed with highly rated restaurants, but the Watertable and Pete's in the resort were delicious. Do yourself a favor, rent a board and go surfing if you haven't tried it before.

We had family staying here and we joined them there at the pool and had dinner there. The resort is beautiful and spacious. Even though there seemed to be a lot of guests neither of the pools were crowded. The rooms were spacious. We had dinner at the casual restaurant there. The food was great and the service was very good.

This place is very nice. All customer service staff were very polite. This place is right on the beach and it's beautiful. I'd highly recommend this place.

Was at a four-day conference here recently and the place is unbeatable for luxury and service! The staff was so gracious, helpful, friendly and attentive! There were too many helpful and wonderful staff members to give a shout out to every single one of them, but a few that particularly stood out were Brittany in Catering, Maria Elena in cleaning services near the Sunrise Ballroom, and Brandon and Connor in valet services. Our conference was a a Jane Austen theme, and every single staff member wore a Jane Austen silhouette pin on their uniform and it made us feel so welcome and overjoyed! Yes, the hotel is a luxury spa and resort so it is not cheap, but you are paying for Beachside luxury! The grounds are gorgeous, and past a beautiful Fountain there is an arching foot bridge that leads right from the hotel grounds down to the beach. The food was delicious, and there are so many shops it's like downtown Disney or a small city of its own on the hotel grounds!

I'm staying at the HRHB for a business conference, and mere words will not do justice to the splendor that is this resort. It's always fun to hit the town, but you would never have to leave if you didn't want to. Full service restaurants/bars, a small grocery store, spa, bike rentals, it's all here. Beautifully manicured grounds, cool water features, pools and hot tubs. Spacious, clean and updated rooms. Simply amazing.

The Hyatt Regency was super nice, very clean. The employees were nice, and respectful. The service was awesome. The valley was quick and on top of things. All around a nice place to stay. I will definitely be visiting there again.

Was here for a conference. The hotel is very nice and big. Rooms are spacious and nice. Free water and toiletries are in big 2oz sizes. Very easy to get to main st where there's plenty of food choices. The Watertable restaurant is amazing as well.

My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The pools were nice if you didn't feel like going to the beach, and the hot tubs were great at night. Very relaxing area.

I'll start with the positives. My husband and I recently stayed here and were so impressed by the views and elegance the Hyatt had to offer. This is an absolutely beautiful resort with amazing views of the ocean, beautiful landscapes, and plenty of amenities to offer. I took some of the best photos of our trip on the resort's property, so for that I am grateful. Onto the negatives. My husband had received an email insinuating the possibility of early checkin (standard check in time is at 4pm). We arrived to the resort around 12pm and, after paying $36 for overnight parking, attempted to check into our room early. We initially were booked to stay for one night, but we were so impressed by the property that we'd requested to stay for a second night. We were advised by the front desk staff that this wouldn't be an issue, but that our room wasn't quite ready. After offering to hold onto our bags, we were given keys to the pool and told that the front desk would contact us once the room was ready. Three and a half hours later, we were still at the pool with no bags and no room (this wouldn't be an issue but after traveling all morning we were anxious to shower and get settled in). We approached the front desk who advised that our room was still not ready and that we'd be contacted once it was available. We finally received a call at 4:45pm that our room was accessible. Without us even having to ask, the front desk offered us a $100 credit towards our room. Impressive.

Diversity of people, ample parking, shops, bus services, taxis of everything and the best surfing and more surf.

Great spot right across the street from the beach. Lots of shops restaurants of all kinds are on the property, so you wouldn't need to leave if you didn't want to. The restaurants do not have the feel of the kind of cheap quality that sometimes comes with an all-inclusive resort.

This "hotel" / "resort" rocks. It's right across from the beach (connected via sky bridge) and within walking distance of main street in Huntington Beach. I often stay here for work and really have no complaints. However, if I was spending my own money, I might find the $35+ valet parking per day as a bit excessive. Rooms are clean and comfortable and check in staff is super friendly. There are several pools and hot tubs, and a really nice fitness center. There's a store and a couple restaurants on site, but I haven't really bothered trying them out since HB has so many other awesome options within walking distance.

Beautiful, elegant hotel. Lovely rooms, very well appointed. Close to shops and lots of places to eat and obviously the beach. It also benefits from its own range of shops and restaurants. Valet parking and generally the feeling that nothing is too much trouble.

Went for mother's day brunch. Had a reservation and seated in a reasonable amount of time considering the amount of people there. Large variety of food that was great. Chilled stone crab claws, shrimp and oysters were fresh. The breakfast selection featured bacon, two kinds of sausage, egg Benedict, pancakes and an omelette station. The only disappointment there was the scrambled eggs that tasted distinctly powdered or from a carton. The salad bar was vibrant and things were well dressed. They had a couple of Chinese-American dishes that were okay. There was a small table for children that featured Mac and cheese, fruit, chicken tenders, and potato wedges. Dessert section was enormous, and had a gelato bar, several kinds of cupcakes, pies, cakes, and other miscellaneous items. Would come back again.

Stayed in this hotel for a conference and really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The proximity to the beach was great. Amenities (swimming pool, hot tub etc) were well maintained. Food in the onsite restaurants were better than expected. Took a surfing lesson and it was a lot of fun. However just like any upscale resort, expect to pay more for activities and merchandise from the onsite stores.

Went there for a work event and also to visit friends who were staying there. Excellent service, family friendly hotel. Great location. Nice pool, esp for the kids.

I went to the Hyatt for an AWS conference (Amazon Web Services) and had a great time. The hall was large and comfortably sat the 600+ attendees. The AV in the hall itself was great with good visibility on either screen and through the placed speakers. They served lunch at this event that I assume was catered by the hotel. The food was decent enough for a free event (various salads, risotto, chicken and salmon).

The hotel has been beautiful so far and right across the street from the beach. Food has been excellent. Only negitive I have so far is the street seperating the hotel and beach is pretty busy. There is a bridge to safely walk over but it is noisy.

We paid $534 for a deluxe king. The room which was ground floor very close to the reception, was extremely dated and noisy to guests in the rooms above and around us. It was worth $200 a night at most. ADD to that they charge a $36 valet fee for over night parking and a $25 resort fee for one small bottle of water in your room, and access to the pool which we did not use as it was a cold day. The free breakfast included with the room as a $75 max value, there were two of us staying the breakfast or buffet is $25 per person (NOT worth with) and with one cappuccino and tax came to $68. They still tried to bill as for going over the the breakfast limit when we checked out. For poor cell reception in the rooms and slow Wi-Fi. I as questioned all these fees and said other hotel do not charge all these ridiculous add ons the receptionist become very aggressive in tone, defensive and unapologetic. I'm a wedding planner so there is no way I would recommend my clients getting married here. I certainly won't return, unimpressed. Next door is the Hilton, go there, MUCH better service for a similar price. Stayed March 2016

We come here quite often to eat at Watertable and then move over to Pete's later. Every single time we have come, every one from the front door to the servers to the security has been 100% kind, helpful, and hospitable.

Location is obviously great. On site amenities include plenty of restaurant options, casual and fine dinning, and bars with decent draft options; gift shops, stores, art gallery, and ability to rent items to enjoy the beach and pathway. Skybridge to cross directly over the highway.

There is no better place to stay in Southern California near the beach when comes to amenities and hospitality. My wife and I travel a lot for business and casual and have stayed at many hotels. Whether it's a business trip or a weekend with our boys, we have always been treated like exceptional guests when staying here. The grounds are always in top shape, the employees are genuinely positive and go out of their way to make our stays as enjoyable as possible. If you are ever in the area, fish tacos at Pete's are delish. Our kids love the water park and roasting s'mores as well.

Best mini vacation ever. You can walk to the shops at Pacific City and enjoy the amazing weather. It's pricy but we'll worth it. Valet parking only.

The Hyatt Regency Resort is like a beautiful resort abroad, but here in country. The grounds are clean, new, and well kept. The food and drinks in the executive club are very good. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the staff was very respectful. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is beautiful along with the location right by huntington beach. I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again. The rooms are nice and are cleaned daily. One of my favorite things about the hotel are the spas; they are so relaxing.

I attended a conference at Hyatt. The food at the hotel restaurants is amazing. Also, the hotel is right across as beach with a bridge that serves as an easy walk way to the sandy bay. Its sunny and not too cold even in December. Would recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit Huntington beach. Of course, may be a bit expensive. So may be, for a special occasion.

We come every year to the Hyatt Huntington Beach for a few days over Thanksgiving. Their Thanksgiving buffet is amazing. Not cheap but very fresh seafood and oysters, a magnificent spread of vegetable dishes and salads and appetizers. It's not the standard buffet food of carrots and green beans but really well thought out dishes using seasonal ingredients such as roasted root vegetables, a yummy baby kale, persimmon salad to name just a few. The main restaurant, Watertable, is great but there are casual eateries on the resort too. My kids love the breakfast buffet which is a pretty good deal for kids. (5 and under are free! ) Rooms are comfortable and clean and the grounds are spread out so it doesn't ever feel too crowded. Our kids love scootering down the boardwalk after spending the day at the pool with heated waterslides — yes heated water slides! All in all, we think the Hyatt is a great value for what you get. Best of all the customer service here is excellent (I think at the level of Pelican Hill or a Ritz-I've stayed at both several times) — everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way. Special shout out to Ms. Jill, (cute little blond) who works at the front desk. She hand delivered hot apple cider and hot chocolate to my kids because they were craving the yummy hot chocolate that they were complimentary serving the day of Thanksgiving in the lobby. It was the day after and my kids were craving it but they were no longer serving it.

Here for a three day business trade show. Wow, great facility. Far bigger than I expected. A wonderful lunch was put on by a sponsor. The service was quick and the food was very good. It was a large service, I am guessing about 800. They had a runners and host directing people to empty seats. It was controlled. Not sure if this was the hotels fault but the audio setup was really bad… needed far more speakers in the room… I really dont think moat people could ubderstand anyone speaking… note for parking… Valet was the only option on venue… $20

Great place to stay, a little more expensive than the Hilton next door. But, it's a little nicer as well. There's simply note options. They have 2 pools. The main pool is adult oriented and the other pool is more kid friendly with a water slide and play toys. The food at all the outlets was excellent and the customer service was outstanding!

I attended this resort for a wedding and enjoyed my stay during the ceremony and reception. The location is really close to the beach perfect for a beachside wedding overlooking Catalina Island.

Area is beatiful. The staff had great service reflective of the Hyatt brand. Regency Club offered great food. If you are visiting Southern Cal, this is an excellent hotel to stay at. I would come back for sure.

We were celebrating our anniversary. The staff provided us with a nice gesture by giving us a bottle of wine to celebrate. The room had a funny smell. It smelled like the carpet was just cleaned. After a while we got used to it. The worst part was that the valet employees took my sunglasses. And the management did nothing to solve the problem. Not a very good experience.

Very great location and the staff are very professional and helpful. I really recommend this hyatt.

Very nice property but it is across the street from beach. Also be careful with full ocean view rooms. I booked one at $500 a night and had 98 % pool and palm tree view and 2 % ocean view if you have binoculars. Great service and restaurants drinks could also be better. They talked us in to getting pitchers and after a few pitchers didn't feel a buzz. The single cup cocktails were a better choice at $12 ea. I book oceanfront resorts on all my free weekends and I would rather stay at Surf & Sand in Laguna Beach next time or Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

Very nice hotel but… One day I stayed this hotel but I had to leave earlier by emergency call… So I paid daytime parking rate but they charged over night parking rate to my credit card without any notice. And they didn't refund… Very nice hotel but unreliable…

Beautiful grounds, excellent guest customer service from staff across all departments! Amazing amenities including beach chairs umbrellas and towels for the resort guests!

Usually my family and I go to this resort 2 or 3 times a year, beautiful settings and installations, but this time customer service went down quite a bit, from Christine hanging the phone on us when asking for in hotel reservations to having a ocean front room secure reservation then been told no or that was given away, given at the end a room next to elevator … well three nights without sleep, at the end just a sorry with soft smile (we been to busy, I was told) and of course no complaints about paying $2300

We've been visiting Hyatt Huntington Beach for the past 7 years and have loved it every time. Any issues we've ever had has always been addressed immediately and in our favor. This is our favorite hotel in California.

I made a Phone call at 10:30PM 3/13/15 asking if they had any ocean front rooms for two couples. was told by reservations they had one left and a resort view across the hall. I booked them for Friday Night and Saturday night. Told her three times we are leaving Vegas by 11;30PM and will be arriving very late between 3-5AM would that be an issue? Was informed that everything is ready as confirmed. Received the confirmation email before we left Vegas. Arrived 4:22AM and the front desk informed us that room was not available, so much for the romantic weekend with waves crashing out side the patio door. Spa was totally booked all weekend. Guess it is something that needs to be done ahead of time. Nice beds. Clean room. 5PM rooms have still not been made up. loud. Kids scream in the beautiful arched hallways connecting the different common areas acting like they are in Disneyland and not a Resort/Spa. Parents screaming across the lobby to their teenager who has her head phones on. And probably couldn't give a dam. Beautiful Grounds Nice prompt Valet Nice Staff Compensations were made. But that will be the next review. Will to give them another try.

Stunning place. Was here for a wedding. Very well organised and presented. Friendly staff. You do pay for it though.

My family and I are staying at the Hyatt in the Governors Suite right now and as of about an hour ago (8:30) our room has been inundated with VERY loud bass and periodic Emcee screaming as though they were in the other room. Hyatt was on-top of it enough to comp the room but the thought that they would book an event with a DJ directly below guest rooms in what I can only imagine is a known area where sound travels well is totally unacceptable. Hyatt should book events like this in their cavernous event space that is well away from the guest rooms! The grandpa convention should be downstairs right now, not a DJ extolling the pricing of what I can only imagine is an auction for subwoofers. I hope that the experience turns out better in the end, but it's incredible how a single night of sleepless toddlers due to management blunder can ruin an otherwise perfect getaway. 2 stars because of the comp, but money does not buy happiness.

Great pools and great location! Very happy with the whole experience! We highly recomend staying here.

When you have to pay 5 bucks for a cup of black tar, if you can find it, and 35 dollars to park your car on top of the price you pay for a room, is is hard to find value here at The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. Next year it is back to Surf and Sand in Laguna. I get up early: 5:00 a. M. I'll give you a hundred bucks if you can find a cup of coffee any where in the resort except your room. The Marriott in Dana Point serves free coffee in the lobby that early. The Hilton at Sedona serves coffee with an honor system of a dollar a cup that early. Hyatt doesn't think they have to I guess. Would I stay here again? I don't think so. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. You just kind of feel taken advantage of here. We reserved our room months in advance, told the staff at least 3 times that we did not want to be by the pool. Guess where we were put? Right by the pool. We insisted on moving rooms and the staff did so without too much of a fight.

I loved this hotel, the restaurant, the amenities, everything except one of the massages I got. I was there for my graduation and had a spectacular stay with nice perks for being a graduate including dessert and a bottle of wine! The fire pits and pools were fun and relaxing, especially the s'mores.

I never write reviews, but this hotel was over the top! We came into town because my mom passed away. Everyone here was extremely nice and helpful. Anything you need or want they will get it for you. I want to write a special thanks to Pablo, David and the entire recreation team. They went above and beyond with their service and a sympathy bag for the loss of my mom. My family and I are truly grateful for them making our say so wonderful.
