This location advertises free full breakfast on sites like Expedia when it's only free continental. The property is poorly maintained chipped paint, unpleasant concierge, and a broken hot tub. $200 for a 2 night stay offering the bare minimum to clients to be able to claim full service.

Worst place ever no towels hair in the bed rude service breakfast is just toast that it all. Will never stay her again.

Bed bugs, fleas, staff is rude and unhelpful, "free continental" breakfast their website offered is literally TOAST everything else you pay for. 2nd bad experience at a Wyndam property. Will never be back.

Room was nice and clean with the soft Simmons Beauty rest mattresses and the soft my pillows, I believe they were. Although the bathroom toilet lid was broken so it kept moving while using and also had a hole in the bathroom door where the garment hook used to be. Informed front desk attendant but was not fixed before we left. Also the indoor pool was so noisy because it was surrounded by glass. For $80 a night for double queen. Not bad but not theist either.

I really enjoyed staying here, the service was good and the staff were very attentive. The rooms were pretty clean, but there was a little mold on the shower curtain. Some places in the building could use some touch up painting. Again, overall I give it 4 stars, and would definitely stay again!

A good place to stay! Under renovations so don’t expect spotless and perfection! The room and towels and linens were clean and staff was friendly! Decent breakfast! The down side, carpet and sitting chair in the room were nasty and the laundry machine were free but not very clean. I pointed that out to the manager And he had them cleaned up within the hour.

Everyone working @ Wyndham was so happy & pleasant! They were looking for ways to make our stay better. The bed was medium to firm. The ac can be set very cold, if you want. The complementary breakfast was very good! It had scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, muffins, waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee & tea. It was a very good stay.

Only because you can't get lower! For this hotel to be affiliated with Wyndham corporate should be embarrassed. I went to check in, customer in front of me were leaving because room had fleas and smelled of bug spray. They DO NOT have a restaurant as advertised… one working elevator in 6 floors… they allowed non-guests to use their pool/hot tub. I went to the "continental" breakfast. As getting coffee (because the coffee bar was incomplete) a kitchen person slapped my arms multiple times for using the wrong cup. When I told the front desk help they laughed at me… SAVE your money and choose somewhere else as Wyndham Garden seems to mean Hillbilly Hotel these days.

Do not stay here. They are racist. If your name sounds anything but WHITE they will cancel your reservation and tell you that they have no rooms available for you. After I made my reservation WITH WYNDHAM and paid (I did not use an outside party) they then called me from this hotel and stated that they had no rooms, I was not welcome on the property, I would not get a refund and if I dared to come on the property, they would call the police on me. This was crazy. We were literally on our way to check in when we received this BIZARRE call. All ethic people should stay away. I booked with their corporate office and these people charged my card and the hotel in Texarkana called me and told me they had no rooms available for me and to not try to come on the property or they would call the police and offered no refund. They STILL have my money. I will be contacting an Attorney. This branch is a disgrace to the Wyndham brand. I work in the travel industry and I am telling all of my colleagues about this place and reporting them to as many people as I can. You’ve been warned. Stay away. Spend your money elsewhere. Don’t ever PAY someone to treat you poorly and ROB you like the Wyndham does.

The hotel was clean and organized. I was curious about the town being directly on the the Arkansas/Texas border and the front desk girl was happy to chat. The bed sheets were very clean and white. I booked online and the value was great. My only concern was that there was a damp spot on the carpet when I woke up in the morning. The front desk apologized and said they would look into it. I would look here first if I was staying in Texarcana again.

If only they offered a zero star rating this hotel would receive it. I wish I could say my week long stay was Tolerable but I can't even say that. Upon arrival the hotel lobby looked as if it had not been swept In a week. The single girl working the front desk was overwhelmed due to her coworker quitting just moments before my arrival (smart coworker). On the way to the room one of the two elevators was broken, the hallways matched the lobby in filth, and the common areas were close to 80 degrees. The room was decent so I decided to make the most of it and stick it out. The following day upon leaving the hotel for the day I noticed a man posting a sign on the entrance of the building. This sign said the building was unsafe. Concerned by the sign I followed up asking why the building was unsafe… he then told the building was found to have Bed Bugs, rats, and roaches and all guest would need to be out of the building building by noon! Between the lack of towels, dirty lobby, dirty rooms and wildlife I would not only recommend no one stay here but would also suggest condemning and destruction of the property.

It was okay place is starting to show its age. Notice lots of repairs needed even trim and the hall coming off. The front desk staff was totally awesome helping me get checked in. I booked online but it never came through their computer. The lady online was hard to work with even the front desk tried working with her. They finally got it fixed for me and got me in my room they were very kind and courteous to me.

Monay at Front Desk was so helpful. She was extremely professional as well. She was very busy, but maintained control while the chaos of online reservations, people checking in and out and phones ringing happened around her. She genuinely cares about guests. An employee like Monay should be recognized for her outstanding work.

Arrived at 1 AM. When I went into the room it was not clean. Dirty bathroom, messy bed, and trash. Went back to the front desk where there was another customer having the same issue. They did not have ANY clean rooms. I finally just asked for clean linens and changed my own bed. Then, one of the "clean" towels that they had just given me was dirty. No compensation or solution was even given.

The motel itself was pretty good. In fact I'd give it a 4 except I didn't know it was the party hotel. Yes, it was a Friday night. I understand this. But some people are here because they are working. So if it's 10 o'clock and your teenage kids are running around the halls partying you might want to smack them and tell them to get in the room.

My first visit was impressive. I went to sing karaoke. The sound equipment was top notch. The DJ was also a waiter so we would have to wait on him sometime. I did have a nice time though.

Incredible staff, more Super 8 than Wyndham Gardens. Everything was clean in our room. Excellent for the price, I think they need to raise the price to get to Wyndham Quality. No floor towel, towels are budget hotel quality. Bed is comfortable, but again, not Wyndham quality. Grounds need serious attention. Maintenance gentleman, Tyler, went above and beyond top help us.

My room was clean but the halls and elevator wasn't. The laundry room had lots of mildew in one washer and the cleaner one took nearly two hours to complete. The staff had friends hanging out talking at the desk and parking lot until after 1am. And while the pillows were great, the bed was as soft as granite. The breakfast was literally only cereal and packets of oatmeal. There are better options for $10/night more.

This place is a dump. Room was dirty. Like trash on the floor and closet. Black specks of something on the sheets in addition to short curly hairs (use your imagination) also on the sheets. Front desk told us to change the sheets when we call to let front desk know she told us to change them ourselves and refused to switch rooms for us or clean it. This is after being on the road for 16 hours. Never again will we stay at a Wyndham property if this is what their brand represents. Be warned. Stay away. Save your cash. It's not worth the headache. Plenty of other hotels to chose from case by.

Stopped over for one night March 17 2018. Arrived at 4 pm and our room wasn’t ready even though check in was at 3pm. Our room was finally ready at 510 pm. Room was okay. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. The breakfast food was good. The women who were working the food area weren’t. They were out of biscuits, ran out of waffle batter and were rude when asked about replenishment. Probably was nice once but those days are gone.

Got picked up in shuttle driver. Put on music and blasted it couldn't hear my husband speak so had to text him. Got to room mold around tub in caulk area rest of the room was clean. Bed was hard as a rock. Went to bar that was actually good food and drink for the price. Went to breakfast eggs were burnt and cold and sausage was hard biscuits and gravy was cold coffee was hot. Housekeeping knocked on door at 8 am to see if we left yet checkout is at 11. Went to hot tub went back to room where the water was warmer.

The room was great. Clean and just wonderful. Beds were very comfortable. Check in… girl was busy with her boyfriend and gave me the wrong room number for the key. Breakfast I did not eat when I got to my table there was a long black hair in my food. So went somewhere to get breakfast. I was the first to go thru the line and girl doing buffet had black hair and it was long. She should wear a hairnet. Ate a late dinner at the bar n grill. Great food. Service was very slow and if you were not drinking it was hard to get service.

Checked in about an hour ago and there was a misunderstanding about my room (I needed it away from an elevator because I'm a light sleeper). The problem was quickly and pleasantly fixed. Room is very clean and has better coffee staples than most hotels in this price range (I adore coffee and there is Wolfgang singles so I'm happy). Also the staff was friendly and engaging with my entire family, they really make you feel like a guest instead of just a customer. Would highly recommend.

We have had a horrible experience with this Wyndham. We were very surprised to find the condition of the hotel to be so poor. We booked and were charged through a website prior to our stay. After our stay I found a charge from the hotel on the card we provided for incidentals. I called to inform them, and they said this was something that had been happening. I was told to call back the next day so they could fix the problem. Day after day I've dealt with very rude management. We have gone round and round. They said I was charged for someone else's stay in addition to ours but have still not refunded us the money.

Nicely renovated rooms. Beds are comfortable. Free breakfast was hot and delicious. Big variety of items to choose from hot and cold.

Everything was great! Great location. Very nice room. Great price. Staff was very friendly and very helpful! Pool was a bit too chili for me but the hot tub was nice.

Went for blues music night Was quite surprised to have about 15 loud kids present in a bar. Owners state it is a grill and bar so children are allowed. The performance from Cedric was very good. Not many people after family with kids left. Appetizer and drinks good. Friendly attentive wait staff decent drink prices.

Great hotel, especially for the price! Super clean and nice. Booked through a travel website and when I got there they hadn't sent my reservation to the hotel so they didn't have any record of my reservation and Leslie was so helpful and sweet and apologetic (even though she obviously had nothing to do with the matter). She got me in as fast as possible and maintained such a good attitude even though she said that company had been forgetting to send them reservations all day which made her job much harder. Would definitely recommend!

Easy to find location with plenty of parking. The rooms were clean and nice. A free breakfast was available work a decent selection. I would stay again.

I booked and paid online and the check in was quick and smooth. The 2 gentlemen at the front desk were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room was nice and clean and the beds very comfortable! We come through here quite often mostly because our teenage daughter loves the indoor pool and hot tub. We love this hotel and after some rebuilding and remodeling that took place last time we stayed here this place is amazing and the rate is so very affordable.

I have to say, I am not impressed by the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Texarkana. There wasn’t anything major that was disappointing, just a number of small things adding up to a slightly unpleasant stay. First, the air control was loud and obnoxious. In my room it had an annoying rattle that was random enough to be noticeable instead of just background noise. Also, the bed was rather firm, which I actually do like a firm mattress, but I don’t enjoy feeling the springs. Unfortunately there was barely any toilet paper left on the roll in the bathroom and no extra rolls left in the room. I tried the tissues… not much in there either. When I called the front desk they said I had to come down, because they were the only one on duty. When I got down there, there was a sign that said they were away helping a guest. Why couldn’t it have been me? After ringing the bell a couple times over the course of ten minutes hoping maybe they were just in the back, I gave up. Luckily I found a bathroom down the hallway and took a roll from there. Basic necessities people! There’s this ridiculous price list for the items in the room posted in the bathroom. I understand a hotels frustration with people taking things or destroying items from the room, but there is no way the prices they listed reflect how much they actually cost. Those definitely were no $30 towels and $125 clock. The staff was plenty friendly, so good on them for that. I won’t choose this hotel again when going through Texarkana.

I attended a large anniversary event and was very pleased with the size and furnishings. I went as a guest. We used the café which worked very well. I had been to this hotel years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was beautiful inside. I didn't stay over though.

Very nice, checked us in early so we could freshen up after leaving the cemetery. Walked me to our room to make sure it was acceptable. Room, pillows and beds were great.

Pool was phenomenal Front Desk agent were friendly and courteous took the time to listen and made light conversation that was friendly… 2 miles away from convention Center you can not go wrong with these friendly folks I have booked my family reunion for this property and we are looking forward to our stay… My understanding is there is new ownership with plans of revitalizing property but I though property was already superb and cant wait to see what they have in store.

First of all, let me clarify that prior to posting this review, I have contacted the general manager on THREE separate occasions to ask her to discuss our stay with her. Each email (and subsequent phone call) has gone ignored. As someone who travels regularly throughout North America, I am extremely cautious to post a negative review. However, this property is clearly negligent and has no desire to improve upon its substandard property. Primarily, our issue dealt with finding not one, not two, but THREE huge spiders in our room. The third was discovered on my youngest daughter's pillow upon waking the next morning. In addition, there was broken (what appeared to be popcorn and cookies) smashed into the carpet. I have photos upon request, along with the name of the general manager who has consistently failed to return a call or email. Folks, don't waste your time at this Wyndham property. You'd be happier at the lowest quality Knights Inn or Super 8. If Google would allow me to rate this less than 1 star, I certainly would. P. S. Should the management see this review, perhaps you should have taken me seriously when I told you on the third time that if you did not return my call or email, I would be forced to leave a bad review. Horrible!

If I could give this place a zero, I would! It is filthy! The front desk person (who was sweet) took me in 4 rooms all of which had mold around the bathtub. My feet stuck to the floors in the bathroom. The hallways all had a terrible odor. The staff, while they were kind, seem to lack adequate training. Travelers be ware.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Our company used this hotel while we had employees working on a job in Texarkana. Our company credit card was charged over $8378 incorrectly. After speaking with the manager, Stacey Hughes, she assured us repeatedly that we would be refunded. She said it had happened to several people due to a glitch in their credit card system. She has continuously lied to our company and we have yet to receive our refund. As of today, we reported this hotel and Stacey Hughes to their corporate office and filed fraudulent charges with our credit card company. I would definitely recommend staying anywhere but here.

The rooms we're nice and clean. Huge selection of cable channels, the breakfast was nice and free. It's not a bad place to stay.

Nice clean rooms. Dennys and a gas station are next door. Nice to just walk over. The staff are kind and nice… not stuck up.

A very awful experience. I was very dissatisfied with my stay. The carpet smelled and was very worn. The ceiling looks like it has mold on it and the room totally stunk when I arrived. I didn't have many other options. I am now on night 3; I am listening to a dog next door barking. I called the front desk to report this. They told me they allow pets and have a sign posted. I did not see this nor was I told. No wonder my allergies are going crazy… mold and pet hair. What a great way to get people to never come back. I went to the front desk to report a second time. The sign clearly stated if a pet is a nuisance that the pet and owners will be removed from the premises. Yet they still did nothing as the pet was in the room by itself barking away. I reported a third time still saying they can not locate the owner. Very upset I checked out of the hotel. To top it off they would not issue me a credit, talk to a manager or enforce their own policy. A good place to stay away from.

This is a great hotel, second time I stay here. Rooms are modern, very comfortable and prices are great. It includes breakfast, which is a plus. Location is great, can find a Walmart one mile away and very close to restaurant options. Really liked that they have tea and cookies in the lobby. The front desk employees are very courteous. Great for families!

I give this one a low rating, not at all what thought it was. Staff not helpful at all. When got there and pulled up front it was pooring down raining and they had a couple of the cleaning staff that had just got off standing outside the front door smoking and talking. Not to big of a deal other than the fact that they had a car parked in the way so anyone trying to pull under the canopy and check in wasn't able to. They never even attempted to move out of the way. So we could get to a spot to unload. The rooms didn't seem to be to secure. Lots of noise of the cleaning staff and their visitors in the hallways. Would not stay at this one again. Try one of the others that are just up the road. Which would have looked at that, but was on the road traveling and was tired and thought I was going to be good due to the name.

Places super nice super clean had a extremely late check-out and they were all very nice even when I checked in at 1 a. M.

Service was good, nice bathrooms, especially the shower. Room was nice, relatively clean except for the large roach found on one of the chairs. Upon obtaining a shoe to deal with the freeloader, a dead cricket and another dead roach were found.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. Room was decent. Breakfast had few choices, milk was out with no one nearby to ask for refills, and tables were messy. I read there was a restaurant here, but there isn't and front desk people were not helpful when asking about delivery places. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked a room a week in advance. After driving 3 hours and arriving at 8:00pm I was told that they overbooked the hotel and cancelled my reservation. I never received a phone call or email telling me this. My three children and I had to hunt for a hotel only to find that there were no rooms available in the entire town of Texarkana. Ended up having to drive 35 more miles in a storm to find a room. I finally received a call the next day at 11:00 am to tell me they had cancelled my reservation. Very unorganized and unprofessional.

Priceline didn't send the reservation over. Took 20 minutes. Some items broken like ice bin. Stains on curtains. Hot tub doesn't have jets.

We booked a two night stay. From appearances only this hotel looked great. We booked it at a very reasonable price. In our room on the first night we found a cockroach in the bathroom. The second night our keycard wouldn't work, but that was fixed quickly. Upon entering the room we found another cockroach. These things were HUGE! The lady at the front desk was extremely apologetic and gave us a new room without hesitation. Our second room had a carpet that was soaked from the air unit leaking; and the insulation under it was falling out. (To me that is just more roaches/water bugs) We immediately left. Also, the walls are thin. We could clearly hear the TVs on either side of us. Also could hear the conversations out in the hallway.

Sick pad. Bathtubs were comfy a/f and the shower head was like the rain of the gods. Breakfast was on fleak and Lynda made it memorable with her bad ass custom eggs!

Great hotel of you book at low reasonable rate. The check in and out process was quick and easy and the staff was extremely friendly. The room was large and was very clean.

I've been here all of 20mins. The lobby is full of guest waitng to check in and rooms aren't ready and it is now 3 o'clock. The hotel staff is VERY unprofessional. I'm so aggravated at this point I'm ready to just leave. I hope the room is better than the customer service.

Clean room. Nice location. Good service. Good breakfast. Very pleased for our one night stay during my family road trip to Texas.

Stayed overnight here on our way back from Boston. The room (108) itself was very spacious, seemed recently renovated. Bed was comfortable and supportive, blankets felt a bit thin for personal taste, but the room had an extra. AC and heater both worked very well. Towels felt of better quality than standard fare hotel towels. Water pressure was good. Their free breakfast consisted of cereal, waffle irons, toast, oat meal, warm cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage links, chopped potatos, and biscuits and gravy. All were quite good, even better for free. Staff was exceptional, very attentive and seemed happy at their job. All in all, an experience infinitely more pleasant than my previous hotel at a Days Inn.

Loved it! we called to see if they had vacancy. Booked it within 5 minutes! Gorgeous room. Comfy bed. Clean bathroom. It was worth the stop! Bought off of priceline so it was a good price.
