This is a neat, older, motel and restaurant perhaps ten minutes from Bisbee. I've had breakfast and lunch there more than a dozen times and the food is excellent, though never stayed yet at the motel. Not long ago new owners took over, remodeling the restaurant and introducing Indian food to their American and Mexican menu. I've only ordered from the American menu, but I'd guess the other offerings are fine also. The restaurant dining area is well done, with tablecloths and good furniture. Chips and a great salsa come with lunch, and the waitress was attentive. Prices are average to low for better than average diner fare. Free Wi-Fi also. Just a great little place with good mountain views toward the border with Mexico. Which sadly makes my only criticism of the place even more glaring. Minutes after I'd ordered yesterday, the waitress turned on the radio full blast to her favorite AM station. The dining room was empty except for an older couple and myself. I called her over asking if she'd please turn it down or even better, off. She turned it down slightly if at all. Yes, I'm old fashioned. Yet looking around at the work and money it took for these new owners to make this place a success, it was sad to see the waitress being allowed, out of boredom or thoughtlessness, to threaten their operation. No one has the right to impinge heavily on a shared restaurant atmosphere, even an employee. I tip very well, and did that day, but doubt I'd risk another music filled annoying lunch.
