Good clean budget hotel for one night.

No amenities, some guy came in the room while I was in the bathroom (not sure if it was even an employee, room are cheap but you get what you pay for I guess.

Easy location. Room was clean. Service was excellent. AC unit would only run on Low fan. I would stay here again. Good deal for the price.

Great service, comfortable beds and very clean. It was very well placed for us (but we were just passing through the town). Bathroom was a little small, but did have a small bath and shower head. Very polite staff as well.

It was not bad. Came late at night and the parking was hard to find a spot. It was clean but well worn. Beds were not the best but not the worst and I could hear the room next door watching TV. But not so bad a place to stay for a quick overnight. Staff was very nice.

My room was clean, with a refrigerator and microwave. Beds are comfortable. Service was efficient and friendly. The only downside is that the place is situated near the railroad tracks. I didn't hear trains all night, but there was noise as early as 6:45am. I was waking up, but this might bother some people.

Service was really great. The woman who checked me in was friendly, helpful, and accommodated my needs. The room was really nice, looked like it was recently remodeled, and the A/C was working well, which I appreciated in the summer heat. However, the area was very loud and I was repeatedly awoken in the night because I am not a deep sleeper. Good for the value, but I would pay more to get a good night's sleep.

Nothing fancy but clean and nice people at the desk. It will put a roof over your head and get you a hot shower. Great for sleeping and preparing for the day.

I'm usually not a fan of smaller motels, but this one was pretty good. Was super simple to check in and check out. The rooms were clean and we were given extra towels at the front desk. TV didn't work but that's why we had our cell phones.

Checking in At Front Desk was quick, but offer no receipt for staying. Stayed n 2 King Size Bed room, closer to Main Route 66 highway and every 15 minutes train comes n go's during our sleep. Train noise, our stay was 2 rooms for 1 night worth $94 for 2 adults and unfortunately there was no washer/dryer told me to go few blocks down the road for washing store. Couldn't sleep during our stay At Mountain View Inn motel. Front desk clerk was friendly but offer no discount for any disability people so we took the room stay, other hotel might offer discounts for staying n room for the night. Just compare prices and will try different hotel during family business appointment.

Perfect Hotel Quality-HUBICAFO price very close to the national grand Cayon.

Office staff wasn't at all pleasant. The male housekeeper was extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely nice, and cozy. A good place to stay if you don't check in during the day.

Located on Route 66 Flagstaff is a beautiful town in atmospheric climate.

The place was not bad overall, pretty reasonable for the price. The staff was very friendly. The room had the basic amenities advertised and expected. Security was a slight issue for me: the front door had a standard keycard access and deadbolt but no secondary measures. The bathroom had no fan but rather a window to open. The room was meticulously clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to a weary traveler looking for a nice bed, but not for a person looking for an extended stay or loving in their hotel room.

The location was good, close to restaurants and right off the main Street. Was just outside downtown so didn't have to worry about that traffic. The rooms were fine. The bathroom was clean, the sheets also looked fresh. Though we did find a few empty beverage bottles from previous guests in the drawers. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

This place is garbage staff sucks rooms dirty blood stains on sheets. Think I might have seen a mouse… BEDBUG Utopia.

Very pleasant stay. The property is very clean, as was my room. It looks as though this motel has had some recent remodeling. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, and had me checked in in no time flat! This property is a great value for the money.

Trains, trains, and lots of trains all throughout the night very loud!
Also there is a door Bell for the front office for service we could hear it in our room when some would ring it… The neighbors were loud.
Other than that that excellent service front desk very nice

Our family is in town from Kansas to be with our Grandmother as she passes on. We had to scramble for several different hotel accommodations due to the holidays and this was one of the few places available. Our family met up at one of the rooms after eating lunch to figure out car situations and who was in charge of what tasks before heading to the hospital. We were not disturbing any guests, as most of them had checked out since it was the day after Christmas. The door to t…he room we had was even open, if they thought we were having some kind of party or something, they could have easily come up the stairs and politely asked us what was happening, instead of rudely shouting to the upstairs that my sister was needed down in the office. What kind of hospitality is that? We were there for less than 10 minutes before being instructed to come to the office and being threatened with a visitors charge for each person (2 extra people) not staying in the room. No one was being bothered, and those of us not staying at the hotel were not there for long. Add to that the fact that my brother got stuck at the hotel since we were unable to leave our grandmother alone, and was made to pay extra to stay in the room. I don't care if it's policy. It's a disgusting policy, and this hotel has a very inhospitable staff. We have already told everyone else that was coming to town to be with Grandma to find a better hotel, because we are people and deserve to be treated as such.

We rented the room for 3 days. The rooms are very clean, the bed's are comfortable and clean. The Internet worked great and the cable also. The TV & furniture are very nice and clean. The front desk employee was very nice & polite. We stayed in room I highly recommend Mountain View Innl!

We got in late last night and our room was exactly what I expected. Front desk guy, Gotham was very friendly. It's an older property so certain things/quirks are to be expected. Microwave and fridge worked great. For those that said their fridge didn't work well… did you check the temp knob in the fridge? I had to adjust ours. Room was clean, smelled great. We would stay here again… except we only stayed one night of the two we reserved due to circumstances beyond my control. I was charged for two nights although we only used one.

Great little gem on route 66! I was given room 133. It was exceptionally clean and smelled great. I have severe asthma and had no problems in this room! Bed was super comfy and the pillows were fabulous! Couldn't get TV to work and they immediately came and fixed it even though I checked in after 7 pm! The only thing I could possibly complain about was the amount of trains, however they can't control that, not their fault. Honestly, after a while I got used to them and didn't notice train or traffic noise! This place may be older but it is well cared for and has great and friendly staff as well as super comfy huge rooms! An added bonus were the bars in the bath. I wasn't in a handicapped room, yet there were still bars by the commode and in shower to help with support! I am disabled, so it was a nice feature to see! This will definitely be our choice stay in the Flagstaff area!

The sheets had horrible questionable brown stains on them. The receptionist was irritated that I told him about it and didn’t care. Seemed to be a normal occurrence to him. So, I asked for new sheets but never got them. I asked for a different room and at first he said they are fully booked even though there was about 3 cars in the parking lot and then proceeded to tell me that they have four rooms open but can’t change us rooms because we booked online? So I then asked for a refund because I’m not sleeping on brown stained sheets but they refused to give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager multiple times but he refused to speak with me for some reason that I do not know. I would never recommend staying at this hotel ever. It was my fault for not checking the reviews before I booked this place because I later went online to see that it has multiple reviews with people getting bed bug bites. Long story short: don’t stay here.

I can’t say enough bad things about this place. The sheets had obviously been peed on and when we asked to move to another room the guy at the front desk gave us an attitude and said that was not possible and that it was not his problem. Refused to give a refund or move us to another room. Would not let us call the manager and he said the manager said that we should just leave without a refund. Highway robbery at its finest. There are other cheap hotels in flagstaff that are much better. Definitely avoid this place.

Get what you pay for. Decent place though very few amenities. No ice machine, no coffee machines, etc. It'll do for a cheap night.

The room smelled terrible, like burnt popcorn, and air freshener from the main office made it smell like fruity burnt popcorn. The trains run all night, so we kept the AC on (with dryer sheets tucked into the vent) to drown out the sound and smell. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. Definitely got what we paid for, and nothing more.

Expedia cancelled my booking from their system. The Hotel decided to keep my money wouldn't except my plans had changed. Now have no money to take care of myself. Not from around here.

Stayed here for a few days and was given amazing service! The front desk assistant was very friendly and the housekeeping did an awesome job on the rooms! Very satisfied with my stay and will recommend to others!

Stopped here last minute on the way to the Grand canyon. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the air conditioner may have been really old, but it worked great! Was perfect for what we needed, and if ever passing through again, we would definitely stay again.

Couldn't ask for much more from a motel. Fantastic mountain views and loads of fun local bars and restaurants along historic route 66. Rooms are basic but functional: cable tv, fridge and microwave. No I've machine but it wasn't that hot there anyway. Only downside is noise from the nearby railroad. Trains have loud horns. If you're just looking for a simple motel this is a good choice.

Booked the wrong date on a 9 room reservation. When I tried to change it, they refused to take my card despite the original charge being put through just fine, would not change the date unless I agreed to a special "no cancellation" agreement then made some very shady comments about "figuring something out" for our payment. Given a very bad feeling, I attempted to cancel all together. They made it clear the hotel was not fully booked for the night (i. E. They did not lose out on other reservations) and would only agree to cancel if we paid half the cost. We travel a great deal and I have never had such a bad experience with a hotel. The only silver lining is that we avoided what would have likely been an even worse experience in person.

I loved this hotel besides the peolle upstairs being really loud. The room was really clean and everything I would recommend this to anyone.

My family booked a room here, and it was AWFUL! Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe it! Blood, urine, and poop stains on the mattresses, and blankets! The guy who owned the place said "I will send someone down to spray bleach on there" as if that would make it clean. Then I stopped by for all of 3 minutes after my sister asked for new bedding, and they kicked them out! Said it was because I was there. Do yourself a favor, and DON'T stay here. It is not clean at all, and if you ask them to right their wrong, they will kick you out!

Perfect for overnight stays. Clean. Cute and small. Only complaint is no trash can but this place is pretty quiet! (Got to plug in my Xbox 360 to the TV via unplugging the cable box) staff is friendly as well, place is a little outdated.

I don't know why everyone is complaining! I was so scared at first after reading reviews but as soon as we pulled up the hotel was nice and pretty clean. The staff was super nice! For the price it's great! Our room was clean. The mattress was so comfortable, it looks like it has been newly remodeled. The bathroom looked really clean and remodeled. It has an older TV but worked good for us! All in all is a great hotel! :)

Beds were disgusting, mattresses were torn and dirty/stained, carpet was disgusting, and chairs had "questionable" stains. $89 dollars was a high price to pay for the shower I got and the towels were too small and still had stains on them. Just Gross… I hardly slept due to the paper thin walls with the visitors next door and their late night "shenanigans". Stay anywhere else! Wish I would have slept in the Jeep.

The rooms does not have a heater to adjust temperature. I set my temperature on low heat and called the receptionist that I canlnot adjust heat temperature and she told me that you can only do low or high heat then the heat turns off automatically. The heat never turned off automatically. I kept having to wake up to turn the heat on and off. The lighting in the rooms could be improved as well. Bathrooms are small and cleanliness should be improved. The lady at the counter is very rude! The soap bar is very thin and cheap! I read people had a hard time getting a refund with this place so I will just sick it up tonight and wish I read the reviews before booking. I just didn't have time and did I hurry bc my car was having trouble. Don't stay here go somewhere else with extra money.

My family and I were stranded in flagstaff due to our transmission breaking down during military leave. Our plan was to send the wife and kids back home with my father in law on check in day for this hotel. After the taxi ride from McClures transmissions, my wife checked in and she was told that visitors were not allowed in the room. After getting our stuff into the room that smelled like vomit covered in farbreeze, I went to the manager to try to explain our situation. The manager rudely interrupted me and refused to hear me out. Instead she refused to let my family stay for 3 hours while they waited for my father in law to pick them up. She kicked us off the property after full well knowing I'm military and stranded in flagstaff. She took forever for the 5$ refund and told us to get our booking refund through the third party booking agency. I called expedia and they called the hotel to get us our refund, imagine that… this hotel jut went through a major referbishment, but trust me it didn't help the smell or the management. Please steer clear, pay the extra money and stay somewhere better. Like the travel lodge just down the street that we walked to.

Worst management ever. Im a traveler my self ans always try to stay on a budget but even the low price cant fix this. One of the most nasty hotels ive stayed at. I even finished my stay here a day earlier and left to a different hotel.

There is not one single thing to appreciate or like about this pathetic excuse for a hotel. You would be better wasting your time and money on a homeless shelter. This was the most nasty disgusting place I've ever been to in my entire life and the customer service was ridiculously rude pathetic and nonexistent. I'm going to have to file a police report just because of all the terrorist threats to meet me at 11 p. M. At night when I was just trying to check in for no good reason apparently the Indian woman who was really disheveled just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It stunk like cheap Indian food. There were bed bugs there were stains everywhere there was no air conditioning the carpet looks like it has endured many parties and never had been cleaned. This place is a disgrace to Flagstaff and I'm doing my best to get the whole entire place shut down. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere but this disgusting abomination.

This place is convenient in price and family operated. Both of which are great! However, I did not enjoy the hospitality at all. I never got a smile, a hey how ya doing or a thank you the entire stay there. When I asked for extra towels, she said you can bring the old ones to me first and then I was told that I had to pay a ten dollar fee for one of towels being too dirty before I could get new ones. After the first night of staying there, the woman who checked us in, barged into our room without a knock, ten minutes to eleven to tell us that we either had to leave or get another night. The third day I was working in the room while my other half went skiing, I was walked in on by another guest. He was just as startled as I and we joked that it would have made it more awkward if I were to be naked (I was topless not fifteen minutes prior) The last day we decided on staying one more night because of the snow, so I had to run to the bank before checking in again. The wife of the owner very rudely spat that we needed to be back before 11, which left us with hardly 15 minutes in a snowstorm. We returned to find no one in the office and our key not working to get back into our room with all of our belongings in it. I was applaud. After a while, the husband and wife returned and I got our new room keys from the husband, who was actually very nice. So all in all, our stay wasn't terrible.

So, I reserved a room late at night thru a 3rd party "booking" website (who are very good). When I went to the place, I informed the night clerk that I needed a downstairs room because of a hip that needs replacement. I can't walk up and down stairs without pain. He said he didn't have any rooms downstairs. So he said to call the 3rd party "booking" company to cancel the reservation. Which I did. But when the 3rd party called the night clerk, he said he was going to charge me anyways. The management of this hotel is unethical, unsympathetic and probably going to H E double hockey sticks.

Clean rooms, old out dated furnishingsThin walls, noise easily heard between walls. Train runs less than 100 yards away from room ALL NIGHT LONG! Bring your own soap, bar supplied won't get you thru one shower. Customer service was good, staff was friendly.

Can you give something negative stars? I rented this hotel for my parents and sons for a trip to Bearizona. They pulled up in the parking lot and there was a party going on with drinking in the parking lot and other "activities". They didn't even go in. When I tried to cancel the room the manager told me they had a 24 hr cancellation policy and would charge the entire stay to my card. When I tried to explain the situation she called me a bad name and told me to deal with it. Can't tell you about the rooms but I am glad my kids didn't stay there!

This place will charge you an extra $8.00 fee even if you already paid in full online ahead of time. Claim that it is some municipal fee they must charge. I found no reference to this online. Staff not very helpful.

This very well have microwave refrigerator and the affordable prices I can not complain.

Horrible customer service to start, got to my room took a shower got out to dry off with the towel, huge black hair. Also anyone who stays here, just check the other side of the mattress or box spring and you will find hair. For the price of the hotel I wasn't expecting much, but they were absolutely horrible. And if you plan to talk outside, you will get yelled at by a racist front desk worker for being to loud. Please read everyone's reviews before you book here, Don't do it. Would rather sleep in the forest.

I don't know where to start, this place was horrible, it's tough to describe such a horrible experience in words. First off the front desk guy is an absolute racist, told us we annoyed him when we walked in the door. As we reluctantly got into the room it was all but luxurious, stunk like something awful, "clean" sheets and I emphasize clean because it was disgusting, had people's hair on them and feces in the toilet as we got in, it was so bad we left and slept in our cars with the ac on in the middle of december and it was way more pleasant. Stay away unless you like harassment from the front desk guy, dirty rooms, and bed bugs.

The motel is located in Flagstaff, about 80 min ride to the Grand Canyon. If you prefer faster like should select the expensive accommodations in the Park vicinity to much more expensive prices.
Parking is free of charge and directly in front of the House possible. Rooms correspond to a motel. 2 Queen size beds with private bathroom. Normal standard and clean. Check-in was very nice and helpful staff.
Know it is necessary, that a railway line runs across the street. However we have heard not much of that — despite freight trains.
By car, it's easy to come to the city of Flagstaff. There's super Cafés and restaurants. Just look close to the train station.

If the bed linen was clean and sufficient towels available with respect, luxury Inn would be a useful Motel. But: Here the guest with horror turns: here I can also no longer live.
