We stayed here two nights, eat both evenings in the Cafe. The food was amazing, the service was great and the staff was wonderful! You must give this place a try!

Best breakfast and restaurant experience during our trip in Alaska! The staff was extremely kind, gave excellent recommendations for local hikes, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend making this cute joint part of your day if you are traveling the area. Also, it’s awesome that the cinnamon rolls are Alaska or Texas sizes…. Hahahahah at least someone is knocking Texas a little.

Friendly people, great food, beautiful large room. Enjoyed the fire pit the most! All the firewood you need. Enjoyed s'mores while listening to the relaxing sound of the rushing stream. Not far at all to Denali National Park! Wonderful, beautiful relaxing place!

Our stay was delightful! The lodge rooms are top notch. Very comfortable, well-kept, clean rooms with everything you may need. We would stay again if we are back this way. Breakfast skillets are great!

Love going in for some pastries and amazing coffee to sit on their deck with breathtaking views of the mountains. Highly recommend stopping into this cute local favorite.

This were awesome cabins to stay in. I would definitely recommend people to stay here when in the Denali area.

Great cabin on a creek with a nice common area bbq gazebo and fire pit. Very clean and secure. They have a restaurant we have heard great recommendations about but other than coffee we won’t likely eat there due to our schedule. Not a full kitchen in our cabin but it has a frig, microwave and coffee pot.

A great place to visit! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and grounds invite you to relax and enjoy being in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The location is ideal for enjoying all that the park and community has to offer. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Great food and service. The waitress was super nice, she gave me mint syrup for my coffee that was very yummy. Especially enjoyed the reindeer sausage with my eggs and sour dough bread toast.

Wonderful place to stay close to Denali. Excellent service. Food was great as were the drink specials. Only suggestion is a shuttle to Denali. Recommend Creekside to stay & eat,

Truly a home away from home. Visiting Alaska and Creekside Cabins & Cafe is an experience of a lifetime. Great energy, Great food, Great people!

Great people, great coffee, always lots of nice flowers and oh yes that prime rib dinner on Friday night.

Came here for dinner after Denali tour. Couldn’t have finished the day any better. Their summer salad was amazing followed by the grilled salmon entree with risotto cake. Very accommodating to however you like your food. Must try!

Quiet and Comfortable with a practical eye for detail supplying all the right little things to make your stay perfect. Coffee; fridge/freezer; micro; even paper plates and utensils; shampoo/cond/shower gel. Soothing Creek. The best part is their restaurant opens at 5am so you can make your tour time and had unreal baked goods and a 5 STAR dinner experience insofar as the food. This place is the total package! We would insist everyone we know stay here.

Stayed three nights in one of their brand new cabins. The location was perfect; close enough to Denali National Park without all of the crowds. Rooms were clean and large enough for 4 people to sleep comfortably. Nice having a refrigerator too. The staff was amazing — very friendly and helpful with suggestions and tips on Denali excursions. The cafe has very good food — opens early for breakfast through 10 p. M. Their homemade baked goods (cinnamon rolls) were delicious. Sean at the front desk was able to get us on a last minute Denali tour (to Kantishna) and was able to see the mountain! Highly recommend this place for your next trip.

We spent one night at the cabins and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both meals were excellent. The burger very well prepared and fries were hot and crispy. We also enjoyed the halibut tacos. At breakfast we had the breakfast skillet and the apple-pecan pancakes. Both choices were excellent… and way too much to finish in one sitting. The cabin was very comfortable and would have been for a stay off several days. The setting is beautiful and the Danali park entrance is less than 20 miles away.

We stayed here for three nights on our tour of Alaska and loved it! The cabins were very nice and the food at the cafe was great! We loved sitting around the fire in the evenings and making new friends (and introducing some Australians to s'mores! ). If we make it back to Denali, we know where we are going to stay!

McKinley Creekside Cabins is a well maintained friendly place to stay. The cabins have everything you will need to keep you comfortable, including things you may have forgotten — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, cotton balls, cotton swabs and hair dryer. The beds are extremely comfortable with several pillows of different firmness to choose. Our room had two chairs, two tables, a king size bed, and plenty of room. The views from our room was spectacular, and the deck next to the river was an awesome place to relax. I'd encourage everyone to book here. The cage has delicious meals, and made wonderful bag lunches for our Mt Denali bus trip.

This is the single worst culinary experience I have ever had. Our room was full of mosquitoes to begin with, but the food was its own specific kind of hell. Who thought putting jalapeno peppers in the cornbread was a good idea? I actually had to go and throw up after mistakenly eating this atrocity. The chili had no specific taste reminiscent of chili and they charged me 2 dollars for a slice of bread that (fortunately) didn't have jalapeno in it.

Stayed at one of the king rooms for 2 nights. It was a nice accommodation and the balcony facing the creek was a nice touch. It was a clean room with a view comfy bed. Close proximity to Denali National Park; maybe 15 minutes away. The food at the cafe is just ok but not the worst I've had.

A wonderful night, clean room and friendly staff made our stay a night to remember.

My Husband and I had supper and Breakfast at this wonderful place! Friendly staff and great food! We unfortunately did not stay here but had booked at another place! If we are ever in Denali National. Park we will definitely be staying here!

Great Cabins, very thoughtfully appointed, very peaceful right by the stream. Food at the restaurant is wonderful!

This place is amazing hands down. We have passed this place multiple times heading to Anchorage and never stopped. Which I see now is a huge mistake. I’ll start with the rooms. At first glance the outside of the buildings are well maintained and look really nice. Inside the layout is beautiful with everything you need to spend the night, like everything. The bathroom is small but I don’t expect a cabin to have a large bathroom. The whole concept inside the rooms is simple and really nice. Now the restaurant, service, and front desk. We had 7 people with us so we filled the restaurant pretty quick. We ordered the smoked salmon dip that came with homemade bread. The dip was creamy and you could taste the smoked fish coming through but not to much. The homemade bread was crunchy on the outside but nice and fluffy in the inside. It was probably one of the top 5 pieces of bread I’ve ever had. For our main meals we ordered burgers for the adults and kids food for the kids. Growing up in Iowa I have eaten some great burgers and have had sick good quality meat. The burgers here were the best I’ve ever had and the others I was with agreed. The meat was juicy, bun toasted, fresh ingredients, and the meal was served piping hot (you don’t get that a lot in the world these days). The server Annie was super awesome, friendly, and was probably the best waitress we have had in Alaska (we have lived here 3 years).

We stopped here for a hearty lunch. Service was friendly and fast. It's a short drive from here to Denaii park and we found the prices reasonable (for Alaska).

Comfortable and a nice creek side room with a great view. The food is great also. If you are visiting Denali, you should stay at this place.

Had a fabulous dinner on 7/24/17 after our Denali bus tour. Best meal I had in Alaska! I had the beef, black bean & hominy chili with the huge cornbread muffin! We loved the place so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning! It's a small place with limited seating, so you might have a wait if they are full; but it is definitely worth the wait!

Nice, very good rest, good food, check out time at ten, should be eleven, and great people. They worked with us and let my wife have her small comfort dog with her. I would definitely recommend. Thank you and God bless. R. Lee Keel.

We have a cute cabin right on a rushing river. Two adirondack chairs to enjoy the view. What a fantastic way to fall asleep! The owner is very accommodating. Nice that they have a restaurant right here, too.

Comfortable cabin with good beds, a covered porch and a small table and bench seating inside. They thoughtfully provide paper plates and bowls and plastic wear to use with the microwave. The grounds are nice, with several picnic tables in the common ares and a large covered area for families or groups to gather in.

Went for breakfast and it was excellent! Then ordered a boxed to go lunch to take on a denali bus tour and it was also quite tastyle and filling. Great spot!

There is a good room, there are nice cozy blankets.

Best place in Denali! One of the last locally owned businesses with a stellar staff. Hands down best homemade biscuit & Gravy for breakfast and like moms homemade meatloaf and chicken pot pie. Wait… I forgot to mention the fresh baked goods made by the fabulous baker. Just my personal favorite, Strawberry and Rhubarb Coffee Cake, which is picked fresh from the property. Been going to this amazing establishment since 2006. Oh, did I mention the views? They are the best… have a beer by the campfire while listening to the Carlo Creek running right next to you. Maybe sit out on the brand new pavilion while listening to some good ole country, jazz, classic rock, bluegrass or The Best of 80's dance party mix! Did I mention there have been rumors of dance parties that breakout and it's a guaranteed great time! Also if your lucky enough, you'll get to meet the mascots of Creekside… Duke and Pal. They are best friends and run around looking for someone to pet them and to become their best friends! If you have a treat (or Bacon) you earn 5 points! I highly recommend this quant and magical place to any traveler coming to visit Denali. I promise it will change your life forever because it did mine! ❤️☀️

Great place to stay if your visiting Denali or passing through. Staff is very friendly. Falling asleep listening to the creek was fantastic. Rooms are clean and rustic, beds are comfy and I would have stole the pillow if my wife let me. Only thing I would change is breakfast menu and cook. It left alot to be desired for dinner prices. We will be back again.

We booked McKinley Creekside Cabins in June of 2014 for a two night stay while touring Denali Park and we were very pleased with our experience. We booked direct online with them and the service was excellent. They booked a dinner theatre for us as well as the Denali Park tour. The staff were very courteous on check in and they even arranged a continental breakfast for us as we had a very early start the next day. The cabin was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had two very good meals in their restaurant. All in all we would highly recommend it.

Not worth the money. Cabins were very basic for the price, toilets backed up with every flush, cabins were all very close together giving you no privacy, they have a fire pit but make you purchase the wood to have a fire. We will not stay here again.

I didn't stay in the rooms — — — but I did eat at the Creekside Cafe. This place is a small quaint cafe that shows some promise. However, the food is somewhat bland, without inspiration (even the gyro), the beer glasses were dirty, espresso wasn't very good. And the service was slow, with only one server waiting on almost every table. I'll try again if I'm in the area, but I won't make an effort to do so.

Adorable cabins set right off the highway and near a running creek! Very clean and very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful! Short drive to wilderness access center and visitor center in the national park. Would definately stay here again.

The hotel rooms are very small — below average and put a cramped feeling for all of us.
