Review of Blue Star Hotel 3*

This place is reasonably cheap for a great location of which is only a short walk to the beach. There is many nearby shops (I would suggest going to the nearby 'supermarkets' as water and other items are often a lot cheaper. As well as this there is a small shop of which you can pay for your laundry to be washed ready for the following day; this costs a measly 25l (around £7). The hotel itself contains friendly smiling staff who seem to speak very good English. There is a pool for adults and children (two separate pools which are inter joined) and floats to use as well as a children's play section in the view of the poolside. The pool however is often full of tourists; this is most likely due to the high fear of terrorism from Daesh. I prefer to swim in the nearby sea as it is a lovely temperature (for myself who is northern English). The beach is mostly pebble so shoes or flip flops are recommended as the pebbles heat up in the boiling sun all day. The hotel rooms seem to be quite basic. There is a bed (for my room which I was sharing there were 2 single beds), a T. V. (I must inform you however of the very basic channels) and an air conditioning unit (which is a definite requirement) however no Wi-Fi can be received unless you go to the reception area; there is a bench outside which makes a nice seating spot, especially if you would prefer a cigarette, unlike myself, or you are welcome to sit on the sofas in an air conditioned reception or on the nearby porch. Overall I believe it is a great hotel in the wishes of sleeping and washing oneself. The room was, and is cleaned on a regular basis. The breakfast seems particularly aimed at Turkish cuisine, of which is delicious olives, cheese (mozzarella and cheddar) and bread with different spreads. The meat seems to be processed, however if you ask the chef he is willing to make an omelette. I will be revisiting this hotel and hope to come to Turkey in the near future. Enjoy!
