Was excellent. Helpful and kind staff. Good size rooms and has everything you need in one place.

Very bad hotel, very bad rooms, not clean, and bad staff.

A very good hotel… clean… extremely good staff… has a perfect view … good food. I recommend.

Small rooms, out dated, no service. Live music venue on top floor that goes on until midnight and can be heard through out the hotel. Avoid this place. I will be checking out after one night and moving elsewhere.

Not a bad hotel location is good but berekfast should chang evry day when we are talking about4star hotel.

Great hotel, near the main road. 4 star for not having as yummy breakfast buffet as I had in Cappadocia, MDC Hotel. Nutella, finger chips, fruits and almonds!

The hotel is pretty shabby but the linens and towels are clean.

L found very good hotel in heart of city and near to bus stop and metro station. Very good staff very co operative, nice cleanness but l m special thankful to my friend Mr Deveran owner of Deveran companies who give me his precious time and visited wonderful places of stanbul. I ever remember in my life God bless him.

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks (which is pretty good period of time to make a judgement) The booking was made by a friend and was not refunded, otherwise I would have left from the first week. I could say that was one of the worst experiences and I’ve ever had. Such arrogant and grumpy staff, they have no idea what customer service means. They have been rough with my 3 years old toddler. Boring, terrible and absolutely unfriendly place that will ruin your holiday. I regret every penny I had to pay and wont choose to come here ever again.

My wife and 3 kids and I all agree our stay in Grand Haliç lstanbul Taksim area was beyond expectations. The friendliness of the staff was topped with excellent and reasonably priced food. Location was paramount. We were able to walk every day to all the fun spots like madam tussaud and taksim area … and galata tower and shopping areas. Even the boats trips were near. Mr. Ibrahim … desk manager … was extremely helpful and always smiling. Loved your … our hotel.

Bad hotel, small rooms without view, and vary small swimming pool, especially receptionist speak only Turkish language.

The lobby is nice but the rooms are not good enough according to the price. The breakfast is good and simple. It's close to the Istiklal street (8 min by walk) with a beautiful view of sea. However I've lost my rings in room but they told me that they didn't find them. One of the stuff was angry always bur the rest were nice.

It was great being at the Grand Halic Hotel. Wonderful staff all the way.

Be warned. It looks nice, staff is kind, but the hotel is SUPER noisy. If you have the sea view (which is not so nice by the way) you will have the terrible noise of the street. If you are from the 5th to the 7th floor, you will have the terrible noise of the music on the 8th until midnight or more… Breakfast is medium. You know now…

Didn't enjoy stay at Halich. Needs exponential improvement in terms of everything viz. Rooms, breakfast, staff behaviour. Not a pleasurable stay. Even a bottle of water was not kept in room. The electric kettle was dirty. Small rooms. Don't recommend.

The room was ok, the view not so much (it was facing the back), the AC wasn't working but with the window open we were ok. In general the room and bathroom were very clean and the beds very comfortable. There were also many options for the breakfast that left everyone satisfied. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the hotel itself is very close to the centre and Istiklal road.

Really bad customer service! I really recommend NOT going there!

Good location. Easy access by Subway. To the airport and back 15 euro each. Breakfast ranges, dinner does not go to the hotel in the surrounding restaurant.

The receptionists are VERY rude, I just got back from my trip and they don't even bother to answer your question, bad staff in general but mostly in the checking counter.

The hotel is not good. To reach ìstiklal street you walk a high hill very tyring. Also the swimming pool is small and too crowded. The breakfast is awful that we ignore it 2 days and paid for private breakfast outside the hotel. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms are semi ok. The food is not good. In general, the location is superb but the rest of the hotel is only good fir sleeping. The walls are so thin that if the guy in the next room farts, you smell it before he does.

The side rooms golden horn offers a beautiful view. Clean hotel deserves its 4 stars.

Rooms are dated and small, expected a nice 4 star hotel ended up getting about a 2-3 star hotel. Istiklal street is walking distance though!

Quality of rooms were very low, the services had a lot of problems, reception were good and helpful.

The hotel is located near the metro station and the bus stop. You can walk to Taksim Square and the Galata Tower. Nearby istiklal Street with Cafes, restaurants and shops. The hall is beautiful. The room is small, the windows overlooked the yard. The bathroom is large, with a bathroom. Breakfasts are extremely scarce. Sausages, egg casing, fried potatoes, yogurts. The serving character is polite, but not quick. Order to the room had to wait about an hour, had to call back.

Very good hotel. Staff are very friendly too.

1. Beautiful scenery 2. Kind service 3. Good breakfast 4. Too noisy if your neighbors talking in their rooms or out side the room 5. Too smoky if your neighbors are smoker (the smoke comes in through the central air con tunnel)

We were for three nights in this House, the location is very good is just a few steps in the middle of the public transport be easily reached because our room on the Golden Horn page we had a super view, Wi-Fi was very good, what bothered us was the breakfast!
the breads were level Turkish anyway under the, although we very early at the breakfast buffet, the cucumbers and tomatoes saw liquidize and dry out that should be covered, the bread was very surface get crumbly, only boiled eggs, there is an omelet or other egg dishes were not bad, thing that struck it very extreme many staff were in the breakfast area which constantly around ran and privately have been talking and gelabert but nothing done that we found very disturbing, but otherwise the hotel well because the situation is!

We are the third day here. Breakfast — well, we have already worse experienced. Every day new towels. German TV. 1a Wifi from the rooms. Damaged hair dryer was within 10 Min. Exchanged. Location is also 1a. One speaks English and partly German. The food in the Hotel is not quite as good, drinks are not cheap. You can next to the Hotel or in the vicinity of reasonably priced food. Actually a 3 and a half star Hotel. The mostly negative review on this page seems to us not justified. Those who, like us, already far in the world around them, often worse accommodation experience. So: Have Courage!

Great location near metro and instiklal street. Very good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was ok. But the bathroom smelled mold all the time and we had to leave the window open. We stayed four days and they didnt change the sheats. Not a 4 stars hotel.

Just don't come here. Most of the staff are rude. They don't even provide iron. They refuse to higlight a local map for you to give you directions. The list goes on.

The only good staying to G. H. Hotel was the location, nothing else.

We are in the hotel now! it's a real convenient place for staying. Breakfast variety is good, but the quality is average.

The hotel is good — old, but good. Internet Free of charge. Breakfest is not good (feel itens) The best thing about this hotel: its location — near subway, main streets, taksim, galata tower, etc.
