Never seen people so unfit to their profession like the brutes who own and run this hostel. I'm quite distressed form what I experienced in that place.
To start off :My expensive possessions stuck in the female dorm. The rotten lockers wont open, they refused to break the locker &since I already booked my ticket &couldn't wait more they refuse to send me my stuff:Tab, Mobile, Glasses and brand new cloths&cosmetics. Got yelled at from the drunk owner saying it's not his problem. Upon checking in, they wanted to charge me more than the rate agreed on, until I showed them my printed Copy of the reservation. Make sure to know what you're paying for. The owner wanted to charge me 10TL for using the kitchen after 8! I couldn't prepare my meal anyway for ;the noise and shouting was so loud (He was cursing and throwing stuff at the guys who work for him while drinking Raki! )
Also in the morning the owner raise the PC volume apparently he likes to shout and argue among themselves. Bed bugs. Was itching and had to visit the drug store.
Dirty dorm (despite the fact that they placed papers everywhere; saying they clean many times a day and extensively on mondy-there's nothing of the sort). Used condoms thrown in the female dorm and a Ukraine Hooker gives service on the phone. I had to look for someone in the empty roof top to serve me the breakfast that I paid for beforehand, really felt bad for the poor guy who was awakened up by the owner shouting. Pay a little more and enjoy Istanbul in another hostel like Bunk Taksim.
