Review of Naz City Hotel Taksim - Special Category 4*

Stayed 6 nights at Naz City Hotel recently with my friends, we found it really fabulous! STAFF were so friendly, attentive, and helpful, especially Ali, who shared us many useful information about Istanbul in Persian language; Mehmet, who gave us much energy every morning with his always-smiling-face while we had breakfast; Yavuz, who treated so friendly while driving shuttle; the girl in hotel pool who finished preparing the pool quickly so that we could use it even 30min earlier than pool's starting time (which was 8:00am) ; the guy on front desk who gave us three as much as possible close rooms, and the house keeping ladies who cleaned the rooms very well and changed the bath towels every time we asked. What was interesting to me about the staff was that it's like they all love their jobs. The BREAKFAST buffet was small but rich enough for starting a busy day! Fine variety of cheeses, jams, veggies, fruits, olives, hot meals, mini croissants, juices with tea and Turkish coffee were served with a little change every day. The ROOM was quiet, well equipped, and maintained very clean. It had a big TV, electrical tea kettle, small lock-box, and a hidden mini fridge. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was a good one. The room's security was very well with the safe door. You needed your own magnetic key card to open the door and to use the lift. The free Wi-Fi connection was fast. The LOCATION is fairly close (~600m) to Taksim square but the walkway is very steep (dolapdere street). The 24-hour free shuttle service, almost solves this problem and you feel so comfortable with it. TIPs: — The front desk staff asked us 100$ deposit per room at check-in and returned it on check-out. — — Although the shuttle service is regular and on time, call the hotel when you want to get back to the hotel from Taksim square to be completely sure that the shuttle will be ready, especially in rush hours. — — I am not sure but it seems the shuttle service might have a destination other than Taksim square. So you might have two options to go with shuttle. — — Swimming pool was open at 8am which might be a little bit late for those who wants to go out early. — — Depending on your room, the window view might not be pleasant. I would highly recommend this nice hotel to those who are looking for a hotel with great staff and comfortable and secure rooms.
