Review of Nongthale Mountain View

Would highly recommend a stay here! The property is fairly new and well designed. They have a pool so it's a nice place to relax, if you wish to stay in. The rooms are very clean, spacious, well equipped, with a nice large bathroom and warm shower. There is ac in the room and housekeeping comes every day. The porch is a nice touch so that you can spend some time outside. And there is even a microwave, fridge, and small kitchen in case you want to cook something. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! For example, they can help to assist with transportation for arrival and departure. Upon our arrival, they offered us a free ride into town and back. They provided us with an extra blanket; brought us some fruit one day when we were by the pool; and did our laundry. They are available any time. The owners made it a point to say hello to everyone and engage in conversation, even recommending some things to do around the area. You can rent motorbikes at the resort so that you can get around, or they can provide transportation as well. Keep in mind that most of the restaurants, shops, and beaches are at least 15 min away by motorbike. There are a couple of restaurants near the place, about 5 min, that had good food! It would be a good idea if owners could partner with a few local restaurants for delivery, so that you can have lunch/dinner in the days you don't feel like going out. The breakfast provided was good — eggs, toast, cereal, tea, and coffee. And they also had a few refreshments for sale if you needed some throughout your stay (they did provide free water on a daily basis which was great).
