This is my seventh visit to the Nakamanda where I am always made very welcome. It is a beautiful small hotel with very gracious and attentive staff regardless of how often you have visited or if it is your first visit. Most of the rooms have a view of the beach or sea, breakfast is limited to the basics with options of Asian dishes too. The staff cook lovely lunches and themed evening meals throughout the month.

Favourite resort in Krabi! Right next to the beach, lazy days and touring the surrounds via rented scouter. Love it!

My wife & me stayed here from 26th August to 29th August 2018 & had taken heavenly honeymoon package got the superb luxurious pool villa. About the resort, staff, service, the rooms, amenities, spa just everything is excellent. This is definitely best place to stay in krabi. Had our best time & very memorable stay. Would always prefer here if ever visit krabi again.

Clean and quiet place, good for family who wants to hang-out and do family bonding. Facilities are quite old and need some renovation. Staff are very polite and friendly.

This resort might not have the best spot on the beach. The beach is rather rocky but you can definitely walk along the beach to enjoy a sandier spot nearby. The resort has got everything you need from a beach resort. The ambience is romantic, and the staff are very friendly. I did not encounter any staff who made me feel unwelcome or that I was being a trouble in any way. The restaurant prices are not that different from the restaurants nearby, but the menu is a little limited if you have stayed there for a few nights already. There are plenty of steps to climb up and down from the villa to the restaurant, pool, and beach, so it may not very suitable of the elderly with limited mobility. Our standard villa is spacious and spotless. A very enjoyable experience overall.

This is my second time to stay in Nakamanda Resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The environment is very peaceful and clean. The rooms are big and very well maintained. Excellent place for refreshing!

A luxury resort and spa at Ao Nang, Krabi. Beautiful and cozy room with fully facilities. Nice breakfast and swimming pool on the front beach. It would be great if the front beach is easier for activities.

Excellent hotel in Krabi, only 38 rooms, helpful service, dignified buffet breakfast, dining room almost on the same beach with Thai food. The price of the letter moderate, very moderate. You can have dinner for €15 per couple.

Nice hotel in a beautiful setting. Lots of green and little outside noises. Varied and fresh breakfast (with the exception of fruit juices). Some renovations would be desirable including tile and air conditioning (old noisy and hard to adjust models).

We spent 5 nights at Nakamanda in Dec 2017. It is a very nice resort, the location is great, beautiful ocean views! It is located in Klong Muang, out of the busy streets of Krabi and AoNang. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The resort has a very nice layout that gives every room the feeling of privacy. It might need some TLC. Some details could be renovated and the gym needs to be updated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! I would definitely stay here again.

Not enough stars. Staff were lovely, attentive and thoughtful; location was fantastic. Right on the beach with a near by island. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Food was reasonably priced. Loads of restaurants near by and shuttle buses into krabi town.

My wife and I stayed here for one night while passing through Krabi for 24hr. The staff is friendly, the room and outdoor space included are beautiful, the pool and beach more than suffice (although if you are a beach snob, the low tide might cramp your style), and the food was average but still very tasty. Drink prices were reasonable for a hotel. Chang was the cheapest at 90 THB each and cocktails were 250THB. We walked across the street for massages for $9USD each and were very impressed with the quality, so skip the ones at the hotel since they are way more expensive. Only downside would be for the "less fit" because there are a many stairs to walk up and down around the property. Is it the best resort we have ever stayed at? No, but nonetheless it was great value for the money and exceeded our expectations.

Very relaxing place. If you need a getaway, stress free, take care of everything environment then stay here. Staff is super-duper friendly and helpful, can communicate in English and extremely helpful. It is really a paradise on land. The grounds are well kept, decor modern and tasteful, I love the bathrooms — shower and bathtub ceilings feels as if you taking a shower outside, housekeeping does the job extremely well. All in all my husband and I are very satisfied with this resort.

Great Krabi resort — the jacuzzi room is worth the upgrade. We had a great time.

The resort is amazing, beautiful view etc, but what's outstanding in this hotel is the customer service. The employees goes an extra mile to make your hotel experience a wow one! Especially Ms. Supattra Leeji at the front desk, the way she took extra care and interest, we honestly thought the resort was for her family. Bravo and sincere thank you again for the hospitality. We'll surely recommend the resort to friends & family.

We stayed here for 4 nights in the beginning of October. It was very quiet being the off season, but there were staff everywhere being extremely helpful. Our room was very large, clean and had a nice view. I'd recommend requesting the upper level villas. The food was very good, not too expensive but there are also great restaurants a two minute walk away. One thing we would recommend is booking your tours on your own as the hotel only deals with a few tour companies who were not that great… so do your homework prior.

A fantastic, romantic place with awesome views and changing tides to change the scenery. You can walk along the beach to enjoy different dinner options at other hotels. Very good pickup and shuttle service to nearby city.

I just love the place. Small and cozy of the place just makes you feel right at home. You can walk right out to the beach and seaside restaurants where you can see the sunset. The services was warm and not over tentative. Highly recommended.

My wife and I really loved the Nakamanda Resort. It's a really classy boutique resort, about a 20 minute drive from downtown Ao Nang. If you want to get away from the noise and overly touristy crowds of Ao Nang, this is a wonderful option. The rooms are very spacious, and the grounds are beautiful. Our only major complaint was that there were a lot of mosquitoes. The grounds are lush jungle with lots of standing water everywhere (e. G. Mini lotus ponds). While these look beautiful, they're also great breeding grounds for mosquitoes. If you don't mind getting a few bites per day, then definitely stay here!

I had a truly amazing stay at this beautiful and tasteful resort. The room was quite comfortable for our party of 3 adults, the service was genuinely friendly and the price we paid was well below the other top class hotels in the area for what I would assume would have been a similar experience. Also, I need to point out that this was the best hotel breakfast we had during our entire trip in Thailand.

I go back for the 3rd time. What to say!
It is a peaceful place where life is good.

This is a little piece of luxury. Rooms are lwrge and well appointed. Service is great — and when something went wrong, the manager went to every effort to put things right. The breakfast is great — overlooking the beautiful blue sea. The spa is incredible. This hotel seems to be a hot spot for honeymooning couples but that didn't put me off. For dinner, venture outside to one of the restaurants for an incredibly cheap meal.

Impesionante place to rest. As at the entrance to "One of the best small resorts in the world".

Spa is one of the best in Thailand! We have been quite many spa and massage places and this one is a keeper for sure.
