Stayed 5 nights at Bai Sainai Resort in late april 2018 with my wife, my son and my mother in law in a Tropical Family Cottage, arriving directly from Koh Lanta. It's was our third time in Ao Nang, so I knew there could lots of tourists around, but there were absolutely no noise from the main road going through Ao Nang! We've travelled most of southern Thailand, and this is without hesitation the best hotel we have ever stayed in! Beautiful surroundings, amazing staff, extrem…ely lush and well kept gardens. Breakfast was so amazing, even though a lot of bread ended in the pond :) We were constantly wandering around this amazing resort, looking for flowers, butterflies, birds and lizards. So tranquil! Swimming around the pool were so relaxing! Looking upon the limestone cliffs and swaying palms. Whats not to like?! Next time were headed towards Krabi and Ao Nang, we'll definitely be back! Khob khun krab/ka from Denmark!

Location was good, mosquitoes will eat you, so use mosquitoes repellent lotion or cream whenever you are out of the room. Pool area is very scenic, as you get a view of huge Limestone cliff. Tuk tuk facility available as per their schedule and pick up points. Overall I had a good stay. Lovely staff, always smiling, good service.

The best resort in town. Break from beaches of Thailand to a natural forest setting, packed with dense trees. Away from the noisy town you can relax with just sounds of birds, water and breeze. Individual wood houses, well maintained rooms, great staff make it a great choice. Food, pool, ambience are great. Special mention to the staff here who are courteous, patient and wearing a big smile. Easy access to basic needs. A kilometre away from beach, the hotel provides a free shuttle. A variety of options for complimentary which includes a lot of options from west and east cuisines. Staff are extremely friendly who are ready to help which makes u feel at home. Well maintained, beautiful pool with a great view of cliff. Rooms though have a earthy touch, gives you comfort, luxury and security. Well maintained rest rooms. Safe provided.

Absolutely amazing resort, stunningly beautiful surroundings. Staff are so friendly, go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The view at breakfast took my breath away every morning, simply beautiful. Our perfect cottage surrounded by palms and limestone cliffs exceeded my expectations in every way. Would highly recommend this resort, if I return to Krabi I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere but Ban Sainai. A huge thank you to all the staff here.

Ban Sainai Resort is a gem in Krabi Province, close to Aonang Beach. Our stay was only 3 days long, if we had known we would love this place so much we would have definitely stayed there longer. The resort is quite close to a mountain and is positioned in a very leafy, natural setting. Our room was quite close to the pool area, which is alongside the restaurant and has a picturesque view of the mountain. The room was quite spacious with a large balcony and the biggest shower I've seen in a hotel/resort. The room was clean, neat and all the usual amenities were catered for including a mosquito net which was a blessing. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, this was buffet style including a few dishes which you could order from a menu (also included in the price). Breakfast is served on the side of a very large pond, which creates a very calming start to the day. The breakfast options were endless consisting of freshly squeezed juices, yoghurts, breads and pastries made in house, a selection of Asian dishes and eggs, pancakes etc. You can order a meal at the restaurant next to the pool as well as drinks from the bar, all the meals we ordered were delicious and very decently priced. The entire resort is alcohol free, which might not suit some guests. I don't drink alcohol so this didn't affect me. They have a free shuttle service which runs every hour and at certain times every 2 hours until around 10pm to and from Aonang Beach.

I loved it, a cottage for 4 in a paradisiacal place, it is not in the center of Ao Nang but they have taxi service until 22:00h and it is not difficult to get around in TUC-TUC.

Pretty good service, courteous and polite staff. A sorrounding that invites you to have a pleasant time and a quite strong rest. Enjoy it! Nice to know: the way from the resort to the beach is about 15 — 25 minutes walk away. The hotel offers a free transport. The beach of lesbo isn't that nice, but the islands like phi phi have good ones.

Lovely grounds and villas. Extremely helpful staff with on site and excursipn needs. Food at restaurant and room service was pleasing. Hourly transport to the beach. 25 min walk to main road and another 30 minute walk to the beach.

It truly is a paradise. It's our third time in ban sainai and it is always a highlight of our holiday. Not only because of the scenic location — which is very difficult to beat — but also, and very importantly, because of the people that work here. They are always helpful, friendly and doing everything they can to make your stay a wonderful experience. The cottages are spacious, well maintained and very clean with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. You can be sure you'll find all amenities and facilities you may need but if there's something you'd be missing just speak to one of the friendly staff members and they'll be happy to help. I honestly cannot find anything I would change about this resort.

Amazing resort. They have separate cottages which are removed from one another. The staff is cheerful. They do not serve alcohol or pork but you can get it from right outside. Rooms are big and airy with big patio.

Absolutely amazing place! We stayed here for 2 weeks from 10th Jan 2018 and enjoyed every moment. The staff here are so friendly and its a genuine friendliness. The staff will do anything for you to help. The breakfasts are amazing (I recommend the roti with spiced curry and the eggs benedict). The butterfly pea flower tea is also fantastic. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is free and available anywhere on the site. The pool is lovely and clean. The on-site massages are superb. Cant rate this place enough.

I am going to try as hard as possible to be fair. Overall, it was a positive experience, just not the type of five star experience we were hoping for. The staff is amazing, extremely friendly, and competent. Check-in was a breeze, they handled our taxi reservations, and the staff at the restaurant were everything you would want in a dining experience. I also found the food, minus breakfast, to be extremely tasty as well. The grounds are very impressive and the pool is a nice spot to hang out for a while. We stayed in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket and each place had 5 star aspects to it. Given the reviews, I kind of expected Ban Sinai to deliver on everything. When we checked in, the bathroom floor in the shower was dirty, like with dried dirt or something like that. I know I am being picky, but again… the reviews. Also, we didn't have warm water the first night, but to their credit this was immediately resolved the next morning. If you are staying in Krabi, I wouldn't again but that's a whole separate issue, I would consider staying here if you are OK paying the price. Just don't expect there to be a direct correlation between the number of 5 star ratings and your perception of the place as a 5 start resort. Solid 4 star though. Again, I am torn writing this but I stand by the 4.

Withal a lot of resorts to pick from in Ao Nang, this one ticked all of the boxes for us: stunning location, romantic setting and a little slice of tranquility. The food was superb, with an eye watering selection of foods each morning, including freshly baked bread, and also tasty pool side snacks and room service. The staff are everything you could ask for, and more. They go out of their way to be helpful and greet you every day with a smile. 10 days here, and we would absolutely love to come back.

Great Resort. Very friendly staff, they take you to the room in electric golf cart. An Asian luxury. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. Buffet type and they prepare you what they have in your letter at the moment.

In the shadow of a limestone hill this picturesque small resort is a great choice for staying when in Krabi. The beautiful hill is visible from every spot in the resort, it's imposing yet very reassuring, conveying silently that you're well taken care off and that's exactly how it is in Ban Sai Nai, they look after their guests very well. It's in Ao Nang but far away from the hustle and bustle of the Ao Nang market. The cottages are simple but comfortable. The food is good and the massage by the pool and the saltwater pool are great. There is a small lake with plenty of fish which is a great setting for having breakfast or dinner if you choose to dine in. There is a regular shuttle service from the resort into town which is very useful. All in all, great for staying alone or with kids. There is a simple charm to the place that is very heart warming and you feel satisfied that your money was well spent.

We booked our stay for 1 night and were upgraded from the coconut cottage to the cliff jacuzzi which came as a lovely surprise as we were tired after an early morning flight from Bangkok, we were greeted with some cold towels and a refreshing drink, they have a golf cart service to take you to your room, and complementary banana chips and a fruit platter to top it up. Airy, secluded and private is how I would like to describe their cottages. Service was top notch.

Had a short but fantastic stay here. The resort itself and the buildings are beautiful and relaxing. I love that they don't look too Western. The room service is top notch. The staff is genuinly friendly and helpful. Next time I visit Thailand, I'm definately coming back for a longer stay! (with more cash for tips haha)

The best resort ever in my heart is Ban Sainai. There are many little things for special details you will feel in love. Location is secluded from others. I can say there is a paradise on earth.

Well, I were disc in a loong pos review. Just thrust me, this is a gorgeious nature resort. It is a 5 — in jan 2014, when the restaurang personell tought some english and some moore its gonna be clear nr 1 in district. Breakfast, very good, improved thru the autumn I believe Look: Bungalows just great, big, with all you need AND worldclass veranda Surroundings, with the cliff and. Better than gorg. Poolarea is just great, big, clean. Service, 5+, exkl rest. For instans I am asked twice after 6 days, what they can improve! By management. Shuttle to the beach every two hours, want to go in between, you are on beach in five minutes. I have rented a bike, used it 3 times in 6 days! Brand new, 250thb/day. Drove lika maniac around AoNang yesterday for a diff place. We booked 7 moore days here, — :) ) ) Please, dont miss this place. And, just eat Thaifood in AoNang, others stinks, pakistanier ex sold us weed oven Italian pizza, directly from refr in the micro. I dont have woords. And I strongly advice a walk almost to the apes left on beach to the Thaipeople (thru the gate). Exellent relaxing in the shadow and great Thaifood for 120thb. Much better than PraNang and all the other beaches we seen before. It is 31 degrees in the relaxing shadow and 48 in the sun on the beach/es. Easy choice for us, and Thaimassage for 200thb every evening at 1600. Yeah, you heard me, at nr 15, we gave the girls 100extra, every day I guess you know tha Aonang BEACH is average, maybee.

Super friendly staff, lovely pool, quiet, 20m walk from beach. I paid $20 a night, amazing value. Got a whole bungalow with lovely bedding and big bathroom. All you want really! Definitely recommend this one.

Great resort. Newly set. Beatiful locale. Excellent rooms. Great breakfast. No restaurant yet. Nevertheless breath taking views from the independent cottages and rooms.
