The ao nang beach is very well maintained, clean and it's the best place in Krabi to be staying the night life is awesome if you are young and you really want a place to party to explore adventure to see the sea evening beach is just the perfect destination in Krabi Thailand. The hospital 2 of the people is good but you have to be careful of tourist agents who may Rob you by charging huge amount for rides and sightseeing so take quotes from two or three agents and then come to A final conclusion.

Very nice beach. It’s not sandy beach but small small broken shells all over which I loved the most. It’s very beautiful beach. Many good restaurants on beach side which are very cheap too. In 500 baht u can have 3 course meal. There is a market also on other side where you have all the sovereign shops. Don’t forget to buy bags & 100% silk stoles.

Lovely clean beach, most of the long boats depart and arrive here for the other islands, the only way on and off these boats is to climb on from being in the ocean!, (Take your mobile out of your pocket. Waves will suddenly emerge and soak you! ) Great place to watch the sun set, really spectacular and not to be missed. Lots of little shops and cafes across the road from the beach. Lady boys are out in all their finery early evening most days, well worth the visit.

Obviously most people know this as the place where you can catch a boat to Railay Beach (which is awesome), but this beach isn't bad in it's own right. There were some beautiful sunsets here. It isn't very peaceful as there is a busy street right behind the beach, but it's not a bad place to chill with a drink or something. Speaking of the street right behind — one of the best nights of our trip was when we went out here, had a great time.

Its a wonderful beach but not very clean like other Thai beaches. Good place to enjoy watching the beach and listen and feel the sea breeze. Has a looong market just opposite to the beach to sit, eat, relax, chill.

If you have a rest in Krabi resort then super.

Very nice beach in the town of Ao Nang Beach. From this beach you can buy your ticket to be able to go to Railey with one of the many boats that you will find right on the shore of the beach. I recommend your sunsets.

Too may people in season. Off shore islands are a good visit, but u need a private boat to enjoy them. Don't hire a small boat its dangerous.

The usual beach with local food eaters and trinkets, you can go from it to other beaches and islands. In the far part of the beach there is a pedestrian area with massage bars.

The beach is irrelevant, dirty and smells bad, the sewers pour into the sea, small pebbles everywhere, the noise of passing boats all day tired. In short Zero beach.

The water uncleared at the shore, fine. The sand is more yellow. If you go to the left then you can find a nice place with a swing. No sun beds.

This is a nice beach. Across the road from shops and cafes, this is a very picturesque part of the world. It is also across the road from some of the major hotels in the area. In the High Season, many Longtail boats leave from here to take tourists to the islands. The beach is much cleaner than most and very popular, day or night. Many festivals and activities tale place here and. The Marlin statue is iconic. Not to be missed.

Nice beach to walk to the side of the village.

It's a bit dirty than I expected. Not dirty in terms of garbage, but it had those small spots on the coast from where the dark green kind of looking liquid would come out. That would make the whole water look dirty. It's a not too bad place to hang out though. Krabi has amazing beaches, much better than Ao nang. But the restaurants, shops and people would light up the ambience.

The beach is actually beautiful but there is a lot of noise coming from the traffic both from the cars and the sea. Eapecially the motor sound of the long tails are Very disturbing… you wont be able to hear sea sound or birds… keep this in mind!

It's a nice beach but it's very close to the main road. It's more for an evening walk than for all day swimming. There are some great resorts near the beach. Great for watching a sunset.

The beach not good for enjoy. Water not clear. Many big waves. Small beach. Ao Nang city only 1 touristic street with many indian restaurant. There is better to take a really complet hotel with pool and activities.

Mostly Hindu souvenirs area where you won't find too many bargains. The views are amazing although not the best beach to stick a dip in.

Krabi has many beautiful beaches and most of them are located on the paradise-like islands that you can explore while island hopping in Krabi. However, Krabi has a popular holiday destination with its beach town Ao Nang, which has also many beautiful mainland beaches to offer.

Very nice as all of Thailand, not the best beaches but you have very close other beaches and from there you have many excursions, the mall is quite complete many dining options and shopping promenade.

Going to Ao Nang Street is worth approaching to the promenade of this beach, which although not ideal for bathing (although you can) at night with the lights is very interesting to walk around and visit.

Visited this beach for my first time. Not very impressive. Would prefer to visit other beaches in Krabi for a better experience.

Great location, pool and breakfast. Rooms are very big and ok! The staff is very kind. The only thing I think wasn't very goods it was the shower. Need to improve in that area. Everything else: Great! I'll come back :).

Booked for two nights and enjoyed it so much extended our stay to six nights. Staff and service are fantastic, great location on the beach. The owner is a great guy who overheard us discussing a problem we were having renting motorcycles and he stepped up to resolve our problem and actually saved us money. The bartender at the pool made us feel so welcome that we had to force ourselves to go outside the resort and see all that Ao Nang has to offer. 24 hour security guards who are friendly and helpful. Everyone from the maids and receptopn people to the chef in the wonderful restaraunt were a pleasure to deaal with. All at a reasonable price! I doubt that we will ever stay at any other resort in Ao Nang in the future.

Our room at the hotel was too dark.

Clean rooms and facilities as Described. The Breakfast is more the better buffets in our Thailandrundreise allowed to experience. Restaurant and Bar also absolutely ok. Staff is friendly and eager. Funny, we found the price list on the rooms, if you are a guest wantonly the furniture is damaged.

We stayed here on 2 floor in 2010, was good, but had internet issues, hopefully they fixed it by now:).
