The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I recently returned home after a Friday — Monday stay at Phu Chaisai. I’ll first start with the customer service. They were absolutely wonderful. It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and I asked them to arrange some flowers and I would pay for them; they would absolutely stunning Tiger Lily flower. My wife LOVED them. They also surprised her with a small birthday cake at dinner and the staff sang happy birthday to her. The cake was really good too! Our initial room had some issues. We booked the white bamboo pool cottage. The views from outside are BEAUTIFUL. 2 days prior to us arriving there was a mudslide on the property right behind this room. I think it got into the piping as the big soaking tub water would turn brownish. We had to run through a few cycles. Also the aircon had a strange smell. This all sounds bad, BUT the staff were SUPER accommodating. They came to our room with in moments of us notifying them to check things out. They brought us 2 portable aircons for the room and those worked great. They discounted our room rate 50% for the night and offered to change our rooms to anything that was available. They staff was super apologetic for everything. We chose the boutique cottage because it has the big outdoor tub. I can not stress enough how much we LOVED this room. It’s super spacious, beautiful views and not a single issue. It does not have a fridge so keep that in mind and you can hear people talking as they walk past the room.

Perfect location in the mountain and surrounded by forests. For people seeking peace and seclusion certainly a good choice. The whole resort has a great view from the room terrace. The hotel area is lovingly decorated. Several saff speak good English.

Beautiful surroundings & atmosphere. Wonderful food & friendly service.

This place is in a beautiful setting but it’s getting run down. Don’t accept a room in the 600 building. It has an ant infestation. They invaded my suitcase and were all over our bathroom. The staff comes in and sprays and sweeps them up, but they come back. Another lady in our party got bit by ants in her bed. I’d stay next door at Katilya instead. It was much nicer.

Nice and serene mountain hideaway. Welcoming staffs. Beautiful setting with many kinds of flowers. Very nice breakfast. The room is a bit cold for Thai guests in winter season.

Terrible. It was so difficult to sleep with people constantly walking by and talking loudly. Don’t go there if you want peace and quiet! There is zero soundproofing and I could hear my neighbors talk all night long. Avoid.

This is a fantastic resort in the mountains of Chiang Mai. Set on the top of a hill and built with bamboo, the units are spread out and accessible via paths which meander over very well landscaped gardens. The nature and wildlife and amazing, it's quiet except for the crickets. I went berserk with the macro mode on my camera — there were so many interesting insects and flowers to look at. The view from the balcony is just breathtaking. I was worried about not having food choices, but I didn't need to worry. The restaurant was very very good, and we ate there every night instead of going down to the village nearby. They had a Mexican food promotion and this was the first time I actually had authentic Mexican cuisine and I was blown away.

Authentic eco-tourism spa/resort on a lush jungle hillside north of Chiang Rai. Solid restaurant/room service menu with Thai and Western selections as well as flavorful craft cocktails. A plethora of activities on property and in the area.

The hotel is very good, the service staff is friendly and amiable, it is a choice to stay away from the city.

Wonderfully beautiful here! The resort is currently being renovated and is also the last 17 years. Service, breakfast all top! In all, very relaxing.

This amazing eco resort in the north of Thailand is a beautiful sanctuary! The rooms are spacious, the views terrific! The pool is gorgeous as is the spa. The fresh ingredients in the fantastic Thai cuisine are the out of this world, original recipe cocktails are a bonus. Words and photos are hard to capture the magic of Phu Chaisai… go visit!

Everything are great. Nice room, nice decorated, nice environment, great deep breath, sweet air when sunrise, natural sound at night, pool in the forest is phenomenal, and combine with superb staffs. Accept hopeless dinner and meals lower than average, it's worse if compare with their price dishes were super charged compare with quality and test. Eat outside will be the best choice during stay here.

A superb experience, everything was great, a real treasure to discover! I wish everyone to come, the property has a beautiful organic garden in the mountains…
