Terrible experience on this 5 stars hotel, I thought I would give the local brand a try on my short trip to pattaya. I booked a CLUB room that costs me 13, 000B at Agoda for 2 nights. When I arrived, they couldn't find my booking and they hurriedly gave me a room that is a far cry from "Club" Room. Carpet was dirty, the room is musty and have an awful smell. No toothbrush, no slippers, no comb — I felt like this is worse than a 3 star hotel. Then I realised that the room they gave me is a premium delxue room with a sea view which costs slightly less than 4000B a night. But that shouldn't differ in terms cleanliness for a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Hotel. The hotel manager explained to me only the next morning and have requested me to cancel my booking in Agoda for a refund as the booking I made is not confirmed by the hotel as the CLUB room is sold out. Why does the consumer has to bear all the trouble to resolve this, clearly there is a miscommunication between the hotel, Agoda and booking agent! Btw, I have been double billed without a confirmation of my refund. 😤 Worst 5 star hotel I have been. 👎👎👎

Wonderful and enthusiasm service started from the Bellboy, concierge when arrival. Room and hotel area is cleanliness and perfect as usual. My family and me were at pool and beach whole trip. The staff at the pool (only one man work there at afternoon till evening) is very friendly and look professional coz it was an unexpected situation happen from the private party by the pool. He moved the boy away and tried to calm him down befor the nurse and the others coming. The staffs at the pool bar are friendly and one of them can remember all customers’s choice of beverages. Super!

Quiet pleasant hotel with lovely helpful staff. Almost like the "low season" period due to the exidous of far eastern tourists due to the current health concerns from China. No problems here and hotel staff are taking full control measures.

The Dusit Thani is a fabulous hotel & the staff are amazing, from the front door to the eighth floor we were made to feel so special. After two weeks of pure luxury we are going home well rested.

Awesome place for an good stay! the property is very neat & clean! The food was also good.

We were welcomed warmly on arrival and taken to have a drink in the club lounge access area while they checked us in.
The room was amazing, beautiful large king bed which was oh so comfortable, amazingly large bathroom with twin sinks, a large bath tub, overhead rainfall shower head, walk in wardrobe as well as a large balcony with outdoor shower and lounge chairs.
The pools were terrific and could do easily stay there all day. The swim up pool bar was great for a drink.
The hotel grounds are large and very spacious and beautifully kept gardens. Even though parts of the hotel were being renovated — this didn’t impact on our stay at all. It is at the northern end of Pattaya, which was nice to get away from main parts and relax, but still close to enjoy the action.
A very wonderful stay and we would very happily stay here again.

A very good luxury option at Pattaya. Right on the beach and with that comes the fun part of water sports and walking on the beach. The main markets are a walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the sea facing rooms have amazing view from the Balconies. With 2 swimming pools and good restaurants, it is a good place to come with family too.

The hotel property is very good. It has a private beach. Location is good. Lot of Indian vegetarian restaurant near by. Honest Indian restaurant chain is also nearby. It has multiple swimming pools due to which crowd in each Pool is less, you can enjoy a lot. Full view of sea is there. Most of the rooms has a sea view.

The oldest hotel in town, more than 30 years of operations. Rooms are a bit old and worn meanwhile, I heard there’s renovated ones but never got one — even staying there many times. The reason why I rate with 4 stars is because it has one of the best beaches of the Pattaya bay (and there is actually no nice beach at all) and the sea view from the room is just fantastic to see Pattaya beach.

Wow! Absolutely the best experience. Everything is the best. Could not ask for better. Rooms are spacious and incredibly clean, the facilities are first class with wonderful dining and relaxing areas. The swimming pools and grounds are immaculate and staff and very professional, accomodating and friendly. Thank you for a most memorable stay.

Few Europeans, many Hindus. After the wedding day, there are rich, can be simpler.

We leave here today and sad to be going. This hotel is fantastic the staff are amazing and very respectful. Pity it can't be said about some of the Asian guests so rude to the staff sometimes… We have loved our stay it's central enough to everything bars eateries shops markets and easily walked. Would Highly recommend this beatific hotel and staff.

Always great to come back. Sea view room is essential in my opinion. Both swimming pools maintained well and private beach side is very quiet and relaxed. Breakfast buffet has simple selections however, still have all what we are expecting. All the team members are very polite and professional.

Although the lobby looks luxurious and all, the hotel looks a bit dated and the rooms are somewhat small (for a 5 star hotel). We could not have a proper dinner in the hotel restaurant (next to garden) without being bothered by a ton of mosquitoes. One of the ladies there even came with some spray to help us as she saw we were fighting off mosquitoes rather than eating. It was impossible to dine or stay on the balcony after 19.00 due to the mosquitoes, spray or not. I find that a bit unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. We did not have such problems in other hotels in Thailand (Bangkok or Phuket) The beach in front of the hotel is undergoing construction and it's a not a pleasant site to see. The sea view you paid for is infested with a huge amount of speedboats and para-gliders it doesn't even worth pay for a seaside view room. The sea next to the hotel was dirty and there were hotel guests swimming next to rubbish floating in water. Don't think will visit Pattaya anytime soon.

5 star all around — location, service, cleanliness, room size and view from the club grand room, club lounge. Great swimming pools with beach access. It’s in the heart of Pattaya, yet away from the hubbub of the city — perfect for families with children. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Pattaya in future.

Good position. Sleep well because bed was good. Nice pool area. Breakfast to expensive. Rooms are little bit noisy. Can hear sometimes your neighbours. Wifi could be better. Lost signal often.

One of the best hotel in Pattaya, very central to come around, maybe the best pool area with 3 swimming pools and very good space. Hotel itself are gettong old, but it is clean all over and the staff is very helpful and friendly, will soon return.

Amazing location and service. It is at the junction and starting of beach road which is a one way road so you can take the shared or pvt ride from the door step to either side. The gourmet shop has a lively evening layout and the bar is also interesting with decently priced menu. Happy hours and happier hours are there. There is a side exit accessible from beach road which is operated by key and is very convenient. There are two pools and a separate jacuzzi. Beach access is very nice and is direct from the hotel which is very good with kids. Spa is good.

The location is best. I really like the swimming pool and eateries provided their at really cost effective prices. The birthday cake on the beach view lobby is living in my memories. Thanks dusit thani for making my birthday memorable.

The hotel is located on the beach, built according to the mountain, so the main entrance hall is the hotel four floors, the lobby center built an artificial waterfall, to the hotel to add a lot of coolness. In the three-dimensional terrain, the swimming pool is on the beach at the back of the hotel, on the two or three floor, overlooking the sea. The hotel has a high green coverage and a clean and tidy environment. Cooking is mainly in western and Thai meals. It feels like a hotel in India.

Nice facilities, good for relaxing but little entertainment.

Hotel is beautiful and feel very comfortable however I don't like the Chinese Restaurant because of this afternoon incident. I went to have my lunch there alone I need a quite space but somehow the table of 8-10 peoples in front of me talking so loud and I just wondering why the restaurant Manager did not do something and few minute later I purposely play a movie with a bit high volume to cover the group people loud voice and around 5 mins or more a lady wearing black jacket came and ask me to lower down the volume and I ask her why you did not ask the group of people to lower their volume as they are the one starting with loud voice? She never answer mu question and suggest me to go to one private room if I want to continue watching. It hurt my feeling because she never ask the big group to do so but why me only? Because I am alone or I am Chinese? I don't know and I stop eating and pay the bill and left. I will not going back there in future and will advice all my Chinese friends to go somewhere else to eat since there have many Chinese restaurants in Pattaya. I just hope the lady do not practice double standard anymore in future. Thank you.

The hotel is great, but the location is unsuccessful in terms of beach, rocks, dirty. The very beginning of Beach Road. Nice playground, for Thailand it is unusual. Even in the coolest hotels It happens that there is no children's street platform. Gym, several restaurants and swimming pools. Near the hotel there are supermarkets Tesco and Bestskpermarket, which have both products and industrial goods. Place brothels. There are many bars, cafes and restaurants near the hotel.

Great location in Pattaya city. If you are looking for a quieter area than walking street, this is a great location. The hotel is an elder in comparison to others, but well maintained and cared for. Facilities are first class and the staff are friendly and attentive. Quality of rooms is good with high levels of comfort. If you are bringing DVD's with you then you may find the DVD player has restricted region access. Pool areas are extensive and maintained / overseen by attendants and life guard. Food and beverages are available around the pool also. Enjoying the stay — will come again.

The environment is nice. It has big and spacious lobbies. The waterfall area added elegance to the lobby. The cafe is big and wide varieties of food during breakfast. The room is well maintained. There are around 4 to 5 swimming pools in the hotel. It has nice scenery from the way to pool and the pool area. You can access to the Pattaya beach from the poolside. There is also small area of children's playground and playroom. From the hotel, it is walking distance to Central Marina. There is 3D museum nearby and opposite hotel, there are few massage palours.

Thani hotel# Environment, easy to go out, the price is slightly expensive. However, a very like one, the room is very large, wet and dry separation, with a large bathtub, the first floor of the floor window out there is a private beach chair can lie, more than 10 meters away is the hotel's swimming pool, a large number of beach chairs to facilitate daytime sunbathing.

In the heart of city yet close to nature. Market at the front door and beach at the back, nicest of location that you can imagine in Pattaya city. Courteous staff and exotic collections of fruits to devour.

Great if you have kids (and otherwise). Excellent breakfast buffet. Very cool indoor atrium with waterfall. Several pools and tennis courts. The kid zone is the best I've ever seen. It's staffed and has games, toys, and equipment.

It's not just a hotel, it's a world in itself. Sitting right on the beach, you can enjoy beautiful view of the sea, else go for a swim in the two pools. Enjoy plenty of activities throughout the day. I booked a club Seaview room. It came with a lot of benefits. Absolutely beautiful experience at Dusit Thani Pattaya. May be come back to Pattaya just for Dusit.

Stayed for 2nights. Reception is very impressive. Has created a good landscape with water falls. Rooms are just enough in space. Amenities in room standard. Breakfast had good option of Indian cuisine Upma, Poha, Samosa. Except samosa rest tasted good. Western spread was also had good options. Staff very indifferent not warm, but I had no issues.

If you are planning to do a vacation in Pattaya, Thailand you must include this in your bucket list. You will feel the true traditional living of Thai people. Thumbs up to this place.

My favorite hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. (Even the local people order the products for anniversaries and weddings. ) The beach was very nice. But in part, the pools are for any flavor. The Saturday party is just a song! Loaded with love and pampering in abundance. The sea facing suites are the epitome of luxury. And BTW the bathrooms are spotless… The language does pose a small problem when speaking to the team on the floor but nonetheless you will be escorted to the nearest staffer who will understand and address your needs. All and all, Great place to be. P. S. I have not posted the bed space cause, I have it in a Good damn mess.

This was the 2nd year in a row my wife and I have been and it will be the last, the first we choose this hotel hopping for peace and quiet, about 3 days in and they setup for a party around the pool our room looked on to and what a loud loud party which we were not informed about when we checked in, had to inform them the air conditioning is only hot air, they did fix it, another time early hours a member of staff woke us rang our door bell my mistake, my convinced me to give it another go this year which I hadn't, it was raining when we booked in sitting at reception booking in I had rain drops on my head, we then went to our room and the bathroom ceiling also had a leak, the reception said they had just started a new promotion a free bbq every Saturday which every guest could go to 1 free of charge, so we tried it and was very nice good selection of nice food, we finished and went back to our room when the phone rang it was reception saying we hadn't signed the bill for the bbq they then sent a bill to the room for me to sign we then pointed out we had been told it was free, he then went and spoke with manger who said sorry just pay the 200 baht for the coke, we also arranged to pay for 1 extra night as our flight wasn't till early hours and the car wasn't picking us up till 9.

… Das Hotel has come in strongly in the year and must be renovated. For Thailand quite unfriendly staff and really good service. We were for 15 nights in the hotel — Easter 2016. It is not a 5 star hotel more … vieles is broken and the concerns but also no longer are old and the location — the breakfast is OK —. The rooms are old and not very clean. The Wi-Fi reception is very poor. The best thing about the hotel is the location at the beginning of the Pattaya Beach Road – this one is central and yet in quiet area — the garden is large and spacious with two swimming pools… (unfortunately dirty) — access to the small beach area.

An excellent hotel. Accommodation and service at a very high level. Situated in a very picturesque setting with its beach in walking distance to the main sites in Central Pattaya. The hotel is located at the intersection of four streets, directly in front of the sculptures of dolphins (starting point for all arriving in Central Pattaya visitors) we rest in Dusit are all really like the sixth time.

The reviewer who gives the Dusit Thani 'poor to fair' is presumably referring to Pattaya in general, not this hotel in particular. (Wonder if he had a grudge? ) We found it to be very clean, super friendly/polite and stylish. The town in general however was poor, with severe hygiene issues (dead rats on the beach for starters! ) The people and food were fantastic but the infrastructure just seems overwhelmed, which is strange seeing as Pattaya has been a popular resort for so many years. Certainly not a place for families, far too much emphasis on 'adult entertainment'. Great to experience a place like this once, but will definitely not be rushing back.
