Definitely "off the beaten path" but I see that as a good thing. Jonathon and Lynn were awesome hosts. Stayed here as part of The Adventurist's Ngalawa Cup in July of 2017. Awesome views and great food.

As it states a great little hideaway with an excellent set up all round. Banda rooms are well kitted out with a low wall all round that joins onto a spacious bathroom, there is a front sail curtain affair for privacy in the front of the banda which is drawn at night — very airy and private enough for chilling well kept throughout the property. Small plunge pool males up for the lack of beach front — Food was wholesome and plenty, great friendly staff and they have the best boats for exploring the nearby ruins of Kiway Kiswani and Kilwa songo Mnara — the later being well worth the extra boat time to check this impeccable ruins out. There is a new build happening on the beach which will be open sometime this year with a dorm room affair, beach bar and chill area… if heading to Kilwa then Mwangaza is well worth a look. Thanks for a great 4 days of down time.
