The basement single room is not ideal. The air conditioning is so loud that I have to turn it off before I can go to bed. The top of the room was mouldy and the walls were painted. You can smell as soon as you open the door. The public bathrooms are also not clean enough, and there are cockroaches in the shower room. The attitude of the hotel staff is full. But the hotel itself really needs to be improved…

If you are unsure of each other's identity, you will leak the privacy of your tenant without respect or professionalism. Room is small, CP value is low, will not consume again.

I really like this hotel becuase it’s very near Taipei main station that we can contribute to other places and also near by ximending shopping center just 15 mins walk. There are many nice resturants nearby the hotel and many nice food to eat. The room is small but nice for 1 person as the private that share bath and restroom. There are small kitchen and cute living to talk with other people. It’s so nice and I love it ☺️

Good enuf for budget traveller who prefers a private room for a night or two. Stayed at basement floor, no window, room is tiny, shared toilet and bathrooms are also tiny, do have a good size common area.

The price was right but, to be satisfied, make sure your expectations are set accordingly. I typically stay in hostels when I'm traveling alone. I like to meet people and am often only around to sleep. However, in Taipei I had some work to do and needed to concentrate, so I wanted a private room. I found this place on booking and locked in a great deal. Reviewing the property, the location was wonderful and reviews were mostly positive. I found the place without issue (located on a side street near Taipei Main Station with lots of eating options around) and check-in was efficient and the staff friendly. The only issue I had was that the walls, at least in the basement rooms, are pretty thin and sound seems to travel around these parts. It almost had hostel level noise — which is what I was trying to avoid. The bed was also a little short. I'm 5'11" and I kept kicking the tv. Thankfully my foot never went all the way through. Everything else was great and I would stay here again, but caveat emptor, the basement is a hostel with walls.

Good place to stay alone. Very convenient location. Easy to access Taipei main station. Close to convenience store. I stayed basement single room. No window & I could hear neighbor’s noises, but I satisfied with the cost & cleanness.

Don't even want to give a star! The attitude is very bad! Ask for a reservation, we can't find it over there! What if you can't find your room over there? Rotten, speech attitude God poor! Do I owe you money?

It is a nice boutique hotel but the rooms are very small. The location is very convenient, within walking distance from the Taipei Main Station.

Extremely poor! Indeed, the location is convenient, the equipment is not old, but, the poor decoration design is almost like in prison, say Nice is " Industrial Wind ", but in fact, the designer has no environmental humanistic accomplishment, repressed the rigid atmosphere on the trip is simply torture, single room is all concrete wall, bathroom narrow, Wi-Fi room completely can not receive, even if the network speed is slow to death, I would rather live 3 stars of business travel than live without the breath of the living, sensitive to the air field Or someone with panic disorder, better stay away.

Good first impressions. Counter guys will likely take your car key to repark for you later because of their limited space. Rooms are spacious enough and appear clean. Upon staying multiple nights however, our cleaners didn't vacuum nor clean our desk (there'd been some crumbs on it) between days. Smoke also permeated our bathroom from another neighbor's illegal activities. There also isn't any heater (only AC) available. We asked for an extra blanket because of the chill, but at that point (wasn't even that late — maybe 10:30pm) they said housekeeping was gone for the day, which is pretty sucky. The shampoo and soap is kinda drying, plus the dates on the packets had already passed (expired?! ). Charger plugs are HARD to come by (I ended up using one BEHIND my bed — had to pull it out a little to get to it too), while my husband used one near the TV. Wi-Fi worked fine most of our stay, thankfully. Weekend breakfasts are better than those on weekdays. It's really only rice porridge with various toppings. There's a few more dishes and said toppings are more plentiful on weekends, though. All in all, a clean enough hotel for one night's stay, but not too nice for extended periods.

Good location, reasonable walking distance from Taipei main station. The nearest exit M6 is stairs only though. There are plenty of food options nearby — the stalls a couple doors down seem popular for breakfast. The room I got was very small (probably the smallest configuration they have), with a window and air-conditioning. Basic amenities provided include free Wi-Fi, TV, safe, hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo, hangers on wall hooks (no wardrobe) … There's a water dispenser in the hallway which you can use to fill the hot water flask provided in your room to make tea (also complimentary) Cleanliness was good. Bed linen and towels were clean, and they did a good job of making up the room. I noticed they bothered to clean the hairs from the shower drainage daily. Overall, I'm pleased. Rate is affordable with decent enough service that I can return to a clean room to wash up and rest after a long day out.

My stay here was disastrous, arrived at 2pm+ and was told that the room will only be available to check in after 4pm, came back around 4.30pm and was given the room key, but told that the room is not cleaned yet. Had to go back to the hotel around 5pm to finally be able to move into my room. Room was like a prison cell but it's ok. What I couldn't stand was the stuffiness and the whole area was very humid. Washroom and toilet are small and dirty, lighting was really dim so I doubt if the cleaners can really see while cleaning up the toilet area. 2 out of 3 baths had clogged drain, leaving only 1 which is usable. It was a really terrible experience and I would never stay here again.

Rooms in the basement are very cheap, but they are basically cells with no window or air circulation (which means it gets very stuffy). Of the 3 shared showers available, 2 were broken and the third didn't drain properly so flooded. It's a shame as overall as the design of the common areas is quite nice, with an industrial style to it.

Clean, comfortable and safe. The downstairs is mostly students, but also snacks, near the station. Worth recommending ~

Unbelievable. This hotel is totally unprofessional. We booked a room in Oct 2017 via Airbnb, which they accepted. 2 months later when we ask for a reconfirmation, they told us that there was a mispricing and cancelled our booking. Not only did they NOT offer any form of compensation, they directed us to book via their website, which was 2X the original pricing on Airbnb. Why should an error on their side be borne by consumers? Unacceptable service!

The room is small, I'm 5"4 and I can barely fit on the bed. But it was overall very clean for the price we're paying for and the location is great close to everything but the worst part was that I can hear my neighbors left/right/ back all having sex or conversation in the middle of Night. I can tell they are all trying to be quite among their "activities" but the concret wall doesn't help with the constant echo of their noises. I would highly recommend buying ear buds to help with the sounds cause it does get annoying after hearing your neighbors for a third time. The showers are a little tiny for changing and showering but its overall doable if you're 5" or under and is super skinny. I would say this is okay for a one night stay but more then that would be pretty tough mentally and physically. Good Luck!

Very clean. Near to amenities. Close to the Taipei Main Station. I even walked to Ximending for late night, about 20min walk. Many food stalls nearby for breakfast. The Dan Bing nearby was the best! Only thing is that the room was pretty small. But I guess that is Taipei?

Good location, near to the MRT, main taipei station. Room is too small, simple but clean.

Functional, clean and modern hotel. All the sockets even their hooks are just in the right places. This hotel is my top of mind while staying in Taipei.

First of all, cheap, clean, and awesome location. Super fine to rest and start the new day in taipei. But the help desk is on other floor, so need to move lot to ask something on it. And, the cell network doesnt reach to hotel room. You only gonna see 'no service' sign on your phone. But still can use hotel's free Wi-Fi everywhere instead of cell network.

Location is good. Within 5 to 8 mins walk to high speed train, train and mrt. Within 13 mins slow walk to Xi Meng Di. 30 mins drive to airport by taxi/cab. Food are plentiful. Prices are reasonable as cater for students. Room is acceptable. Small but for the price and location, is considered as reasonable. Staff is very polite. Only feedback is the noise. Noise not from the street but from other guests. Some guests tend to slam their doors or speak beyond normal acceptable tone can be a great disturbance. It depends on your luck as I can hear my chinese neigbhour speaking among themselves for 3 late nights and early morning. If the noise dampening improve, it will be perfect.

Attractive space in a bustling location. Modern and thoughtful design, making good use of a small area.

Clean and tidy room. Compact yet sufficient and comfy. Highly recommend the hotel.
