Room view was stunning! Ask to stay at 1021. Hot spring is a must try, fairly modern rooms, didn’t interact as much with staff so not sure on that area. The sky Lounge is by far the BEST I ever seen, oww and Sara who works there is just the cutest friendly thing! She will take EXCELLENT Photos of you and the Stunning view wow! Would stay there anytime!

I really enjoyed my week-long stay at the Howard Plaza Hotel. It's pretty close to train stations, great restaurants, and a nice park (Da-an park) and it's about a 25 minute walk from National Taiwan University. Hotel customer service was excellent, employees were extremely helpful and spoke fluent English. For breakfast, there were two separate restaurants to choose from — — one western style and the other chinese. It's definitely a beautiful looking hotel, although I can somewhat see how a few reviews mention the rooms are becoming a bit dated. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay and would certainly stay again.

Not Bad, quiet but central. They should improve the kitchen. Need more international food.

Wow, just wow! This hotel's buffet is not only delicious but beautiful. There's a gigantic waterfall in the center of the floor that is just so majestic. They even have ambient music. It's a bit unsettling though since some of it relates to Buddhism and spiritualism. The only thing is that the dessert can only be accessed by a staff. Now that's a no-no. You never do that. People feel guilty when they have dessert and they don't want a witness. The variety isnf that impressing though. Too bad we didn't get to check out the rest of the hotel. But besides all that, this place has an excellent buffet!

Very convenient location, a few minutes feasible to Zhongxiao Fuxing station. The price is reasonable. The room was big enough.

Clean rooms. Hard beds. Great location and very convenient to mrt and shopping. Staff at hotel is nice and professional.

I went to Fuhua Hotel Jiangnan Spring and two college students to gather. The office is a Zhejiang cuisine.
We had lunch with a simple order of three dishes and a soup; eat rice. We ordered three dishes (Baobao hot sauce, rotten bags meat and ham cabbage; plus a clam soup). Jiangnan spring of Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine Some improvement, taste is exquisite. The business is light at noon; there are only four or five tables. This meal is NTD1, 300. Cost-effective!

Good value for money, business trip.

It may be the hotel some years, compared to some of the emerging international hotels, the guests here seem to be mainly old customers, but for me who do not like the feeling of crowding and oppression is just good; the hotel floors have various national cuisine, including the second floor, Lai Heung Court Café cuisine, a lot of different kinds of time, while waiting for a boyfriend's neutral point is not common "Cuban sandwiches" ready to eat, super thick roast pork, ham, cheese, mustard acid cucumber combination is not disappointing! There is also a slippery "truffle wild mushroom omelet" is also very delicious. This is definitely a good choice for tea with friends.

Very nice hotel with courteous staff. Spacious room with great Wi-Fi (was able to attend video conference meeting). Nice bathroom with L’Occitane products. Have choice of two Breakfast buffets — Asian or Western style; food is quite good in both places with mix of hot foods (eg noodles, omelet chef) and fruits, baked goods, salad bar. Gym facilities were solid — treadmills, yoga floor, weight machines, light weights. Also excellent shopping and location. Will stay here again!

The worest so call 4 stars hotel I have ever been. This type of facility and room size it's like 1-2 star motel. It's so old and so small. Staff service is good but they forgot to clean my room. They turn off lights on the aisle, it looks like hunted place at night. Overall experience is very bad except staff Service. I cant believe still so many people stay here. You can find much much better hotel with this price in Taipei. Ex. Evergreen hotel high classic extremely clean.

The four-storey Garden Boulevard lunch buffet is very good. Seafood is fresh and Sarah is a full range. If you have a diet-oriented health, a caroli intake, and would like to have a buffet meal, you can eat it once in a while. Most of its seafood is hot, plus salad, sushi, sashimi and hand rolls, nutrition, calories and delicious can be taken into account.

It is recommended that people who come here should never park their cars in the underground parking lot. Or you'll have to carry your own baggage. Climb a very narrow staircase to the hall, along the road will pass like a maze of winding corridors, the lights are very dim, I check out the third day to pick up the car, walked about 10 minutes before the second floor of the ground, no service personnel can ask.

This is a stopover in Taipei from January 31 to February 5. This is the Taipei tourist season because of the year, so many hotels in Taipei are quite difficult to order. A few years ago also lived in Taipei Fuhua, so this time Fuhua can also be booked to stay here. This is the club level room, so the room is still not small. Although Fuhua is a bit of an age, but the room is still feeling good, there will not be very old feeling. Taipei Fuhua is a size hotel, so it's all there.
Compared with other large chain hotels, Taipei Fuhua's house prices are relatively inexpensive. Taipei Fu Hua from the South Prudential Goods Bookstore is very near, Qingsong to walk. It's very close to a few Sogo department stores and it's a walk. The nearby subway is also very near. Taipei Fuhua's location is good. In general, Taipei Fuhua is also a good choice.

Central and well located. I would recommend it if you are going to visit Taiwan for business or fair. It's rather executive. Not much for families with children. Excellent food and service.

Exceptional hotel. Staff was very friendly and speaks English very well. I stayed on New Year's Eve… And booked directly with the hotel. Got a free room upgrade. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the subway (Da'an). Which is only a couple stops from the Taipei 101 building.

The Louvre restaurant on the four floor is now restructured to be called Garden Boulevard. For more than 20 years, every year on Mother's Day, New Year's Eve, almost all spent here, this is a good chewing taste, full of memories of the place.

Nice hotel for high-range budget. It has shops inside the main building, one restaurant at the ground floor and one more at the third floor. There is also an hotel bar which usually closes at 1:00 am where you can also buy bottles of whiskey if you are interested.

I gave this rating because the hotel claims 5-star status, which I disagree with. Yes, it is a nice hotel but I feel it is a bit worn around the edges to claim such top shelf status. Unlike most contemporary hotels your room door will not close behind you even with a little push — be careful. There are two breakfast lounges: one for Western food and one for Asian food. Avoid the "western breakfast" and choose the Asian breakfast buffet, always, if only because you get some warm milk for your coffee and the "Western" breakfast only gives you little plastic liquid creamer. If that's culturally "Western" I can't decide if it offends me or I am ashamed of my artificially processed world image. Also, that buffet room is decorated with US-centric imagery, which I also find odd and a bit irritating; as if: "Welcome to Taipei. Please enjoy dining under a poster of a bald eagle on a stars-and-stripes background. " Kinda funny. Kinda not. It's as if "the western world is America. " Hundreds of millions would disagree. Also, I didn't feel it is 5-star food, either. Not bad but not 5-star. Everyone is nice and helpful so the staff is great.

One of the best hotels in Taiwan.

Sufficiently modern facilities especially in regard to aspects as important as bathrooms and communications (free Wi-Fi with password in common areas and without it in the rooms). Two options in breakfast (Oriental and Western) with variety and quality of products. Friendly service with acceptable English level.

I got upgraded to Suite for free. And the rosewood suite was amazing. A very large suite with all amenities you can ever want. Awesome restaurants, and extraordinary food.

Quite a nice hotel. Room and services are good. Good restaurants and bar. All the staffs I met are very friendly and helpful, except a couple of counter staffs at the Rainbow Terrace who really didn't know how to greet customers, the way they ask questions also quite rude. 2 nights I had dinner there. 1st night was wonderful, the staffs were friendly and helpful. The 2nd night, different staffs at the counter, those 2 girls really should learn to greet customers. Overall I am very happy with the services.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, swimming pool, fitness center, bar, 2 breakfast buffets, and clean rooms. Only problem we had was the card key seemed a bit too sensitive to interference. Key stopped working and had to go to the front desk 3 times to get it replaced.

I have been in this restaurant for 30 years.
30 years ago very red, there was no W hotel, no Hyatt hotel, no Shangri-La, so Howard PLAZA is a high-class hotel, 30 years later flies, Fuhua can only be regarded as intermediate hotel, but Fuhua's famous shop street/buffet business is still fiery red.

Although a bit conservative, it still offers the traditional value for money services in Room & Banquet for the visitors from afar to enjoy the great stay in Taipei.!

The hotel is really big with 2 buffet breakfast to choose from. But the chairs are outdated and old already. Service is also good.

The first floor of the Rainbow Breakfast is not excellent, point a poached egg, eggs did not fry cooked even, you can fry the whole egg to pieces, technology than I am worse, I really do not know how she became a chef? Old but it has everything you need. Location is simply great because there are three subway/MRT lines converging. Still you can find the nostalgic elegance here. Also the quality of the restaurants is above average.

You will feel like home that kind of comfy in Howard Hotel. Room is styled in traditional Chinese way, with soft lights and atmosphere. Staff are super friendly, especially patient to kids. Sometimes I'd just go there for having a lunch, restaurants are good as well. I'ts my favorite hotel in Taipei, I'd say.

Not a whole lot of selections at this buffet but every dish is made to perfection. Fresh ingredients and spot on seasoning. A great choice for quality hotel buffet.

Absolutely great customer service. Everyone was very helpful. The rooms are ok. We stayed in the Family Room/ Rosewood suite. Clean, and a great view of the park/street area. We also enjoyed the western breakfast. Great omelettes.

The french cuisine dishes are interesting, different other buffet place. Most are delicious. However, conque is not fresh and is tasteless.

I'm now here for the 7th or 8th time. Not the newest or best but it makes up for it with location and room size. Be sure to get a room facing outward so you still get the natural light.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days, good location, convenient to the tourist attractions around, including cats and Yehliu. Rich breakfast, there are 3 restaurants to choose from, better shower system.

Environment is very comfortable, staff quality was very high. Beautiful environment, renai road. Shopping distance very close to Sogo. Breakfast delicious. Tourist less suitable for business persons occupancy. Traffic is also more convenient, you can take the MRT to any region.

True European breakfast buffet.

Staff was very good. Hotel itself is very old but refurbished very well. I live in rosewood room has a full locker room, work desk, TV, mini fridge, safe, very good, good quality bed and pillow. Bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Overall, the room size very well. The Red Sandalwood Suites Hotel Center, no outside noise.

Great room with separate living area. Huge bed. All ok except shower could be little bigger. However lot of water and sinks work perfectly. Room clean and fresh.

A really nice hotel with a decent price. The inexpensive shoe shine service was a nice touch. The huge breakfast room was a bit overwhelming, and the breakfast buffet was about average.

Excellent hotel, and much less expensive than other high-quality hotels in the area. The rooms are comfy, and the breakfast buffets were sumptuous and creative. It is an inexpensive, easy taxi ride to the convention center / trade center, even at rush hour.
