The room is very cozy and spacious. No loud noises and they serve fruits daily to your room. It is near to malls and restaurants. Very short walk to daan park mrt. Very friendly staffs as well.

Very quint little hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi and decent breakfast buffet. Half block to redline subway. Beautiful doors. But no pool and no gym.

I love to stay in the accommodation. Quiet atmosphere near the natural forest park, good access to some major sightseeing places like Taipei 101 and Tansui, Friendly staff, some of who can speak Japanese well, and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast service is fair. I think I come back when I visit Taipei next time.

Breakfast is also available, there is a host of afternoon tea, the biggest advantage is the MRT station is very close. The facilities are older, the windows will wind in, other rooms are smoking, and the air conditioner will smell like smoke. Some of the room clerk is polite and some very rude. The main road before the hotel is a one-way drive, but for those who are not familiar with Taipei, it is best to confirm with the hotel how to go.

The room is clean, the bed is soft and hard, and it's bigger than the average double bed, it's good to sleep, there are four pillows to sleep in, pillow will not be hard and not too soft, is the recent sleep feel comfortable pillow, housekeeping good, but also help us do not know where to put the home key found placed on the table, also have to fill up the used out of the spare parts, The room is soundproof, I think it is a very high CP hotel, the next opportunity will want to come to this accommodation.

I started at the hotel for business reasons. It was clean enough and the view was fantastic.

Great views of Daan Park, good breakfast selection for vegetarians and dietary restrictions, you need to include breakfast when u book or pay extra later. The place is clean, and a wonderful inner atrium space inside the hotel. The walls of the atrium are decorated with classic European motives, there is sense of space and style. Close to MRT trains. Close to restaurant quarter.

Booked this due to its proximity to Da'an Park. Lovely location. Try booking directly from their website and choose the Bali room — — you will not regret it. This room has its own sauna and jacuzzi tub. Just lovely. They also serve free breakfast. It was our first time in Taipei, staff were very accommodating and warm. It was our first time eating at 7-11 since it's so close by to this hotel. I highly recommend it.

Urgly old hotel. Room is small and outdated. Not worth the money. There is nothing good about it. Breakfast served in the basement. It is worse than a motel.

Small and beautiful hotel, bathroom and jacuzzi, breakfast dining environment comfortable. The location is near the MRT station, the hotel has a car park, self-service or driving is very convenient.

It's a decent hotel considering the price you pay. It's like 50 metre to a Metro station, very convenient.

Convenient valet parking service. Near MRT station, bus station, convenient transportation. The opposite is Daan Forest Park, which is ideal for taking children for a walk.

The water hose made huge sounds during our sleep! And seemed like they got nothing to help after calling them!

The staff was very helpful, the bed was very comfortable, but the breakfast was served, it seemed to be understaffed, some meals were not available and there was some confusion, but it felt the effort of the service staff.

Nice room. The bathroom had a nice big bathtub but there is no shower door on the shower portion causing water to spray all over the rest of the bathroom. Very old school design which I think is off-putting to hipsters that want to take a bunch of dumb selfies in a modern room but know nothing of true hotel quality. Don't let the reviews deter you just because they say it has an "outdated" design. I'd stay there again for the price for sure.

Good value for money compared with other hotels nearby. Great location, quiet, nice service. Price is OK, breakfast OK but more variety.

Stayed here for several nights while having business meetings in Taipei. The hotel is just next to Da'an Park subway station and, yes, directly opposite the Da'an Forest Park. The location is convenient because you can get to lots of places using the subway. The park is a nice place for a walk, and also reduces the feeling of being in the midst of a concrete jungle. I stayed in a "Standard Room with One Queen Bed, Park View". I asked for a room on a higher floor, and they gave me one that's just below the top floor. The view from the room was really nice, I could see the entire Da'an Forest Park (which is a huge park) from the window, and the greenery really made me feel like I wasn't in the middle of a city. The size of the room was relatively small, though still with enough space around the bed. The room was nicely decorated: the side tables, the table, the wardrobe were all of antique wood style. The bed was comfortable. Apart from the bed, there's also a reclining couch next to the big window. The bathroom (spacious enough, with a bath tub and a shower) has a big window that you can look out (or look in, depending on your point of view) ; though you can indeed close the window. Breakfast is the typical Chinese style breakfast (porridge, soup, vegetables) that most hotels in Taiwan serve, with addition of scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, toast, fruits, coffee and tea. The selection is adequate though not great.

Initial terse but actually very friendly and helpful / lovely staff. Clean, good value in a great location near lots of food options. Our room/suite looked like a grand room in a French hotel, replete with statue. Highly recommended.

Review revised: bad fire safety. NOT a sprinkled building, the atrium would act as a chimney. I would not comment as they do appear to have a ceiling mounted fire suppression system, however the fire exits stairwells are blocked by housekeeping carts, mops, and buckets on every single floor. There are even permanently fixed desks with computers in the fire exit landings. This is irresponsible and dangerous. Otherwise, a great budget stay. I would not allow my family to stay here, however, for safety reasons. Fire inspection regulations are known to be sketchy in Taipei.

No service, very bad breakfast, porker face, when you ask if their manage is there, they will say no one here and let you waiting in the lobby. The only advantage is very close to metro station and easy to escape.

Don't be fooled by the small, humbled front entrance. We were welcomed by fresh cut flowers at the entrance and elevator areas. Three giant classical wall paintings decorate one side of the building interior. Take MRT Red line to Daan Park. We got out at Dongmen statIon. It is too far to walk in a hot humid day. We were there for only one night and had their European styled room with a real King sized bed, plenty room and a separate entry area. It is elegant but somewhat dated. My daughter loved the giant deep whirlpool tub. The separate shower has a design flaw. Water leak out through both sides of the door. The quiet toilet doesn't flush well.

No frill business hotel in great location, next to DaAn Forest Park MRT station. Ask for a room facing the park, and you will have best view in the city. Breakfast is the best I have in a business hotel, with both western and Taiwanese option.

Somewhat spacious rooms and pretty god breakfast, and friendly staff. The only downside of living at this hotel is, the breakfast becomes mundane after a while and there is only enough room in your room for one king sized bed although the hotel is met for couples who stay there, but I still think they should try to expand the hotel a bit more to fit two king sized beds or one king sized and one twin bed in each room of the hotel. That way if a family decides to stay the night there, then their kids can sleep on the other bed. Also, maybe the hotel is trying to save money, but I think they can hire a better chef in the future once they get enough money for it. Other than that, the hotel is great! I love the warm and friendly staff and their friendly service. I also like how the hotel is located only a few blocks from the MRT station and it is relatively close to 101. You can literally run there and back within an hour or so. I ran there and it was a great run. Just watch out for cars, mopeds, motorcycles and bikes. In addition to that, I like how the hotel is located right across from the Daan Park, I like running and playing basketball there with my brother. I also like how the hotel attendants let you know if you have a call from someone or someone dropped off a note for you or something. The other thing I liked about the hotel was, it was clean and there is always a clean lady who cleans your hotel right after you leave.

We stayed here with my family during our short trip to Taipei. The hotel has good amenities foe the price. It also included breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable.
