Before traveling in Taipei lived in the Dundee Inn, because very like, so back to the home of Taichung chose the same brand of the new, really did not let me down! The room is very small for 2 persons. The cleanliness is good. However, there’s bad smell from the surrounding environment make the lobby and my room at 3rd floor kind of smelly. Location is ok.

Has lived several times, very close to Taichung Station, out of the station right to walk within 3 minutes can be reached, nearly a few birthdays have to check in, counter staff will provide small surprises oh ^_^

Convenient transportation by the station, clean and tidy rooms, texture is very good! And the surrounding snacks, shopping center cinema is opposite, eating and strolling are very convenient!

Service staff attitude is very good, the lobby drinks, washing machines, computers are free to use, there are free locomotive parking garage but a little distance, although the room is small but clean, everything, the railway station came out to, less than 2000 yuan price value, Taichung affordable accommodation preferred.

I chose this hotel without hesitation as I had a great stay at the sister branch in Ximending, Taipei. I did not regret my decision. Comfortable room, nice decor and outstanding service.

I'd give it better than 5 star but it's already maxed. The rooms are pretty nice and has nice themed artwork all over the walls. Service is nice and friendly at the lobby. You get self serve drinks like milk tea and lemon green tea. The usual espresso machine and water makes it a definite plus. There's a laundry room you can use for free and a lounge area to chill in while you wait for your laundry to finish. The rooms are a little small for my taste because I'm an above average Asian male from the USA (lol) so the beds were just right but any smaller I'd go mad. The bathrooms were nice and intimate since you can't lock the bathroom doors. They use the same type of glass door you would use for the shower but it's whatever. Everything is pretty convenient around this area so I wouldn't mind staying here again if I ever came back. This hotel makes me want to stay at the one in Taipei now too if I ever get a chance.

Everyone is so kind and helpful, and their wonderful treatment of my little girl was sweet and heartwarming. We stayed here for three weeks during a family emergency while a loved one was in hospice care, visiting him throughout his final days. This extremely difficult time was made easier by CityInn's staff, and we'll never forget it. The hotel's interior has a modern urban style that's bright and inviting. Some reviewers mentioned that the rooms are small, but this is standard for a hotel in a large city. Our room with king size bed was comfortable with very convenient lighting controls and wall outlets within reach. Even a child's bathing tub was provided for use in the shower. Free Wi-Fi is available on every floor. The breakfast buffet is delicious with numerous items to choose from each day. Taiwanese people are the friendliest people in the world, and at CityInn, we felt as if we were staying with family.

Our favourite hotel brand in Taiwan, although their room isn't spacious. But the cleanliness and service is definitely a 5 star one. Adjacent cross the street there a mall with some cafe and restaurant, Daiso and Carrefour which make this place super convenient. They are just nearby Taichung Railway station. There's are eateries and cafe just beside the hotel also. Not forgetting to mention, they are definitely affordable and their breakfast are pretty good too. Stayed here thrice and Taipei branch twice, all they service are excellent. Helpful and friendly. What's more they also have laundry room, free coffee and tea, This branch also have PCs for you to use. Located on the ground floor.

The hotel was located less than 5mins walk from Taichung station (台中火车站). Rooms are a little small but they are clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and provided accurate information such as which buses to take to reach our destination. Breakfast was decent and there was free washing machine, washing powder and dryer, 24/7. The hotel staff are really willing to grow the extra mile, even giving us a small gift as we were on our honeymoon! Highly recommended!

This is not my first trip over here, all the staff are so friendly feel like real friends. Feel comfort and warm. Especially Eva and Barry! Thank you all~ I differently will be back and tells my friends to come here for accommodation.

Budget $60 USD per night nearby Taichung's central train station. Some selections of night stands for late night food / drinks, and a department store nearby for shopping needs. Rooms are super clean with accommodations from tooth brush / toothpaste, free Wi-Fi, free coffee / tea at both lobby and your room. Very friendly staffs. Modern furniture design makes it compact but roomy. For it's price, it's probably as good as a 4 stars hotel only in smaller scale. $60 per night also include Breakfast buffet next morning. Combination of Taiwanese traditional breakfast with western twist. Similar quality of breakfast would probably cost $20 if not better. Surprising authentic comparable much more expensive fine dinning restaurants.

Very convenient as it is just behind Taichung Train Station. There are shopping malls and convenience stores nearby. Staffs are friendly and the hotel room is clean.
