The beautiful rooms, the excellent food, the hospitality.

We ate here spontaneously tonight, and didn't reserve. The restaurant closes at 8, and we arrived 6.45. First thought the waitress was not happy with the late guests but we were pleasantly surprised. A very very positive evening from A-Z. The waitress gave her best, was friendly and helpful. The food were were very very surprised at! Finally something other than schnitzel and bratwurst in a mountain restaurant. The lentil stew was amazing, and the chicken wings with sauce and sweet potatoes done to a T. We didn't have very high expectations, but will for sure be back again and again and tell friends and family to come as well. Next visit I will try the pancakes and maple syrup! A "must" if in the region, take the extra mile to get up the mountain!

Simply wonderful, Personal, Essen, Ambiente, in the dreamlike landscape of the Reichenbach Valley. Everyone must have visited this, just come by.

A little gem in the Alps, considering it's remoteness. A great location for your ski tours. Excellent food.

We had an amazing experience at Schwarzwaldalp! We visiting during the first week of September, and the cows were still chomping away in the meadow right outside our room. I was woken to the sound of hundreds of beautiful cowbells! The dinner was also incredible: fresh pesto pasta with shrimp and farmer's salad! I'll be back!

Spectacular views, great food, a lifetime memory… if you have a chance to go here, just do it.
