Location: Super! Service: Class! Room: Well. Unfortunately completely loveless, functional and not according to the price!

Very helpful staff, very near to Luzern, value for money. Basic amenities, but spacious room.

Cosy country hotel, good fine cuisine, attentive service and nice rooms. Starting point for excursions. Lake Brienz, Rothorn Steam Railway.

We were having a bite to eat in the afternoon.
The salad plate for 19th 50 was really disappointing. Very small and not garnished. The green salad was stored too cold, quite transparent.
The sausage cheese salad for 20.50 was already bigger. Only unfortunately the Cervelat was cut with shell, which very limited enjoyment.

The hotel is centrally located, opposite the train — and ship station and directly on the main road. From the restaurant terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains.

Great location, very Central, clean room and nice bathroom. Unfortunately, but not for people who want to sleep. The whole house is already noisy, and if the limited village youth makes at night, in front of the window Party you can swipe the night's rest entirely. Unfortunately no tax-collection worthy of a stay.

Clean, zenteal and Super kitchen. The room was not big, but as we were traveling a lot, it didn't bother.
We (2 adults 2 children) had HB and the dinner was very varied and tasty.
We are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great atmosphere, good food! A historic hotel/restaurant. The Sylvester party was super organized, with treats and live music!

Very good service, rustic rooms, very nice and very good quality food. Parking spaces available behind the restaurant and in front of the pier. From this place you can make really many beautiful walks and excursions. The view of the Bernese Alps is truly impressive.

Good hotel right at Brienz railway station and bus stop. Has good view lake facing rooms with balcony. Not a buffet breakfast is the only issue, else excellent place to stay with a country side simple feel.

Food in the restaurant without Hotel. Unfortunately not Recommended. Beforehand poorly informed about the size of the portion, salt potatoes had the salt only in the name as well as the emerging question what a normal Viennese sausage has lost on a Bernese Plate. And the Schnipo… Fries too long fried and the meat (at least that which was left after the roast) dry like the Desert. The Schnipo went back to 95% in the kitchen, but was fully charged. As a result of the complaint no approval by the staff… once and never Again. This rating is for the restaurant only.

We booked this hotel through Airbnb. There were 2 separate rooms with a shared bathroom and a corridor. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Toiletries & towels were sufficiently provided. Information & recommendations about tourist attractions were also given by the hotel staff. With the guest card at this hotel, you can avail discounts at some of the nearby attractions. The bus station and train station are located right in front of the hotel. It has its own restaurant & bar. Breakfast is available at an extra charge. On arrival, an additional amount needs to be paid as tourist tax. Wifi was good enough. Parking was free of charge. Would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Don't eat there! Terrible server and charge a lot for water that you didn't order.

This Hotel is always a pleasure to stay in. Great employees who know whay they are doing, delicious food, and a friemdly environment that makes you feel right at home. Great location in the middle of Brienz. I highly recommend if you need a place to stay.

Great view, excellent food, friendly staff.

With local Swiss cuisine, it's really difficult to predict ahead of time whether it will be good or not. Prices won't indicate the quality level. We decided to eat here on a sunny Saturday afternoon on the terrace with great views of the lake. Thankfully (! ) there weren't any smokers present. The food was surprisingly satiating and hearty (sigh of relief). Typical Swiss prices. Service was good from the blonde woman with glasses — clearly a pro in the field of hospitality. We discovered that the former U. S. President Richard Nixon and German author Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stayed there on different occasions. Worth a stop.

The room is old not renovated, carpet is with a large spot. Bathroom is like in 60 years and breakfast well man can go to the baker and for 6€ gets that too.
For the money get man to another hotel
a breakfast there I get big eyes. 116€ single room.

Warm welcome and in French. Spacious and very clean room with Wc/shower. The bedding is very comfortable.
The hotel restaurant with its woodwork and its stamp is typical of the region. The view of the lake is beautiful.
A special mention for the very generous breakfast. And also for the kindness and sympathy of all the people of this hotel:) We will return.

Had a fantastic stay at the Weisses Kreuz. Loved the room with stunning views on to the lake and mountains. Enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful.
