➜ We had booked one night in the hotel. Unfortunately, the reception was a bit frosty. We learned the reason when we left. First of all, praise for the beautiful location and the good food. Breakfast was also fine. Unfortunately, we had a real thousand-foot plague on the balcony and in the room. There were also a lot of dead critters around around around we had the impression that it had not been cleaned quite. The balcony with the beautiful view we could not enjoy as we would have liked to have done. On departure, the landlord told us "he wonders why we, as a rock festival visitor, booked a room in his hotel at this location when we were only present for "sleeping". This saying then triggered in me the desire to write this review. We consumed in pairs for about 100 francs and enjoyed the balcony and the view as much as we could with the crawling. Dear festival-goers, make a bow around this hotel, you are not wanted.
Cute rustic hotel on the shores of lake Brienz. We had a beautiful balcony view of the lake from our room. The staff was very polite, the included breakfast was tastey, and our room was clean. The only downside is the distance from town and the train station.
