Beautiful large homely room with a view of the Eiger.

Great cuisine, unfortunately God's bad service. Feedback was not desired.

Very nice room, great dinner, the service staff at Stübli was just great, early stucco also very good, view top, all very friendly and the gifts for our two Hundies were very nice. Receptionist Kim simply lovely and very helpful. Thank you again had a nice short trip.

A nice hotel! and terrible staff! the woman in the reception answering the phone is very impolite and not helpful at all! I don't recommend and I definitely won't return there. Bad experience!

Price vs quality okay. Reception service not great The hotel is "nice", but for the same price or 100 CHF more you can get better in Grindelwald.

As long as you do not believe the pictures displayed on official websites, the hotel or the available apartment is fine. Those who expect modern furnishings and easily accessible hiking trails are out of place here. Since I have been accommodated in the hilty hus and have only seen one of the three apartments, I can only say something, namely it impresses with its 70s charm and the very old furnishings.

Top four-star hotel with an exceptional location for the Eiger and glaciers in Grindelwald.

We had there the wedding room with bed and canopy. Very clean and tastefully decorated.

The rich breakfast as well as the dinner were great.

The staff is well trained, friendly, attentive and helpful.

My favorite hotel! I stay every year in one of the chalet apartments and eat dinner frequently at the hotel. Apartments and rooms are impeccably clean and well-furnished, all with great views of the mountains. Staff is friendly and amenable to all reasonable requests. This is a family run 4-star small hotel, but remember, it can't offer 5-star services though rooms and restaurant may make you forget this. If you stay here, do eat in one of the 3 restaurants — — though they are really different rooms of the same restaurant, sharing servers, kitchen, salad buffet. All are with tablecloths and cloth napkins, even the rustic room with a menu specializing in Swiss dishes. All of the restaurants, from La Marmite, Panorama, and the Hilty Stuebli and the terrace offer the daily special menu, the Asian menu, and the seasonal specials, and they are amenable to getting one of your party something from a different menu. For fondues, go to the small rustic stuebli, for special occasions, La Marmite, for larger groups and families, book the larger Panorama, and weather permitting eat on the terrace. There are so many options that I never tire of eating here. The views are fantastic, and best of all, there's ample free parking.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean.

Despite reservation in the Marmie we were placed in the hotel restaurant. This can happen, but the owner's reaction was unprofessional: that should not matter to us, other guests are more important and a casual sorry had to suffice us as an excuse. — A few more errors were accumulated: from one menu there was only one serving in stock, water served with instead of gas, or 7 instead of 8 tabletops. Although the food and service were otherwise OK: we would have better reserved in a different place.

The apartment and location is amazing and awesome. Really amazing views with snow covered peaks right in front of your house. The apartments themselves are very well equipped and spacious as well Unfortunately one guy at the reception ruined our whole experience and behaved as if he was doing us a favor instead of hosting us. Other staff at the hotel were fine but the 1 guy at the reception had some kind of an attitude problem with us don't know for what reason. He was really pathetic and if I was rating the place Only based on him I would give it a zero star and ask for a refund. Britta, the other person at the reception was exceedingly helpful and nice which kinda help mitigate the other person's crude behavior.

Mountain Cabin, people who like to live in the country will like it. Surrounded by mountains of mist, quiet night, if the room is better to sound more perfect. There is a distance from the noisy area, if the time does not rush, do not walk back and forth, experience walking in the village small hillside, listening to the voice of the distant wildebeest.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the bathroom was forgotten during the renovation — everything quite cheap and showers in the tub did not work for me (1.94 m tall) as the hose was simply too short. For this bathroom a star deduction.

Lovely hotel. We came to Grindelwald with another hotel reservation but promptly switched to the kirchbuhl. Nice people, gracious service, comfortable rooms, and yes, the Eiger view.

Good breakfast but dinner buffet is very pricey and service was just ok. Spa only open very specific hours also. Overall decent experience.

This place is great! Gorgeous rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The food is fantastic! The views are to die for. Hot water with good pressure. Where they could improve: Wi-Fi signal is weak and internet can be spotty, also the restaurant employees are scattered and seemingly untrained.

Family owned hotel of four generations; traditional style with traditional (read: excellent) service. The restaurants have a fantastic selection, and the rooms are well appointed. We will stay again, bank account willing.

Great location and perfect welcome.

We stayed in one of the apartments. I believe we reserved a studio, but I think we stayed in a much bigger apartment. Breakfast at the main hotel is included, as well as access to the wellness (we didn't go there). Breakfast was very good. Downside is that you have to walk outside to go the the breakfast buffet at the main hotel. Advantage is that you have a nice apartment for yourself.

For me the best hotel.

Very good accommodation and excellent picturesque sceneries all around.

Top management, staff, wonderful food.

I like the place I will visit one day.
