Me and my husband we love this hotel and it’s definitely our favourite in Barcelona. Everytime we stay the staff is friendly and super welcoming, breakfast is really good and also if you want to chill there is a swimming pool. Great location and it has it all! Thanks to Gabi (I hope I got it right) who looked after us and its nice to see familiar faces year after year. See you in March RoomMate Anna!

Prenotato tramite Expedia ed essendo già stato "fregato" da foto di altri hotel ero leggermente titubante che le camere fossero come in foto ma arrivato sul posto ci ricrediamo, camera spaziosa e fornita di qualsivoglia comfort! Personale disponibilissimo, simpatico e soprattutto poliglotta! Situato vicino alla stupenda casa Batlò (d'obbligo salire sulla terrazza dell'albergo per goderne una vista migliore) e a poche centinaia di metri dalla metro di Passeig de Gràcia è comodissimo per qualsiasi spostamento.

I was amazed by the drama played during my check-in day. After signing all the forms, the reception guy asked if I want to pay €30 to upgrade to an executive room (which, according to him, costs €80 extra in normal days). I refused. Then he tried to sell me a €40 tour which I showed no interest. Finally, after 10 mins of hassle, I got a room. It’s a twin room. Well, I am a solo traveler. Before getting to the room, I was never told I tonight I need to sleep on two twin beds. So I went back to the reception to ask if it’s a mistake. ‘NO’, they said, ‘rooms are random; we run out of double beds’. One lady offers another option: extra €20 for a room upgrade (which she said it costs €40 in normal situations). Things already sounds discrepant from before, right? Customer is unpleased; crisis reaction is inaugurated: one, they told me, “you never write an email to request a double room”; second, “you have the option to pay upgrade. ” In either case, she blame the responsibility to me: it’s your unscrupulousness upon booking (we said it’s either double or twin) ; second, you have the choice to upgrade to a room with a double bed, but you don’t want to pay. But upon booking, they never mention on their website that I need to write a request for a double bed and doubles are unavailable. Why don’t they write me a message to ask ahead whether I need a double or twin bed or tell me double beds are unavailable and offer a refund?

Excellent location, clean and luxurious room, friendly staff, free upgrade and reasonable price.
Of the many hotels I have visited such as Hilton and Sheraton this has certainly been one that I will visit again on my next visit to Barcelona.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff — room really quirky decor. Fabulous breakfast — so much choice… Celebrating my birthday here and came back to the room tonight to find that they have left me a little birthday message and a little cake. How thoughtful is that! Can't fault it. If I came back to Barcelona would definitely stay here.

The hotel location and facility is just great, very near Gaudi's Casa Batllo. Our room was very fun, whimsical and quite comfortable, loved the design, perfect for Barcelona. The staff couldn't have been any better. Marta in the breakfast room was the best! Very caring and happy to be of service. We will definitely be back for another stay at Room Mate Anna and seek out other Room Mate hotels.

Love it. Cozy hotel with great helpful staff. Extraordinary breakfast buffet. Room 105 have a private patio. Bring your own movies in a USB as the TV channels are limited. Fridge, safe, free Wi-Fi, ac. The pictures on the web does not give the rooms justice.

Very beautiful in an absolutely enviable position, in front of Casa Batló. The rooms are super clean and the staff very kind. The room mate chain is great. The rooms are just below average as greatness but for two or three days you won't die.

Location 5 * breakfast 5* friendly staff 5* bedroom an ample amount of wardrobes space but lack of space to put your drink down. 4*Bed the firmest ever spoiling our stay. 1* Bathroom with a large shower head and high water pressure was lovely. 5* David & Lesley.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located next to Passeig de Gracia. Well decorated room and quiet street. Rooftop terrace with swimming pool. A staff to listen and smiling.
Breakfast served in the form of a buffet, pastries, deli meats, hot dishes, very good coffee.

The very best in Barcelona. This is my first night and the room is very tidy and comfortable, staffs are very nice and kind people. A must stay hotel!

The stay at Room Mate Anna was fabulous. The staff was most helpful in guiding us with maps, directions of various sightseeing places and guiding us with bus numbers etc. It is centrally located so anyone opting to visit Barcelona should take the opportunity to stay here. Special mention to name a few was Sergi, Ivana and all others on reception duties. The breakfast staff of the young boy and a very sweet girl cannot be forgotten. And the breakfast had variety for both eastern and western foriegners. Love you folks.

It is always a success to stay in a Room Mate. I was in a deluxe room facing the main street and located on the fourth floor. The room is large and spacious, although the layout is not suitable for all tastes and the space dedicated to the WC and shower can be small. I loved the decoration in red, with sea touches: coral, shell lamps… and lots of mirrors! The large shower and comfortable. All the necessary amenities, also bathrobe and slippers. Very convenient location, a 10 minute walk from Pza. Catalonia, for the Paseo de Gracia. Two steps from Casa Batlló. Varied breakfast at the height of the chain. Staff of 10. I think it has become my favorite RM of the 3 I've been to in Barcelona.

I stayed nearly a week :) Room Mate is generally a funky hotel chain with gorgeous hotels — high quality and good value for money.

I really liked this Hotel. My room 503 was red with a distinct Chinese touch. Tiled floor, comfortable bed. Quiet. Functional bathroom with good ameneties — especially thoughtful — a ladies box with nail polish remover! I hope they will add a lounge-bar area so you don‘t have to go out for a drink if you don‘t feel like it. Staff very friendly… even early morning!

We had a room overlooking the street, which also had a nice view of the Casa Batlló.
In spite of the direct location on a busy road, you don't get it. Rooms as well as the rest of the hotel were clean. And one of the great things was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Was certainly not the last visit to the room mate Anna.

We visited Barcelona for our honeymoon and Room Mate Anna Hotel was the best choice. The location could not be better, service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Decoration of the room was extraordinary, very quiet even though it was above central road. Breakfast excellent and at an unbeatable price till 12 o clock. Free Wi-Fi all over the city, something we were offered first time from a hotel. We would recommend Room Mate Anna for a great stay in Barcelona.

Hotel very well located in the centre of Barcelona, half a block from the subway, in front of Casa Batllo, three blocks from La Pedrera. Rooms a little small except the suite that are very comfortable, the staff very attentive to you to have a beautiful stay. Excellent breakfasts.
