I was so happy to find the outdoor activities becuase I couldn't survive to be indoors the whole day.

The room is fully furnished. The kitchen everything is there. Its a marvellous place to visit.

Great value for money!

The resort is well located and very calmly to stay for the holidays and have sport's faculties to play well.

Great view, super custom care lovely atmosphere.

It was a second time. That place is amazing would love to go there again. Keep up the good work.

We had the most amazing weekend. The scenery, the setting, my what a tranquil place to be in. The staff was friendly always on hand to assist. Thank you guys especially pieter for everything. A definite next holiday destination for me.

The place is ok but really need some renovating for it to be more accomodating, service from. The Reception excellent Pieter was warm welcoming.

I really loved it, Muslim owned guest resort its got a namaaz room and they cater well for there guests, from horse riding indoor pool etc.

We were booked into Ezulwini for a team building trip on the 16, 17 and 18th February 2018 and was extremely satisfied with the service we received. I read a few reviews and was a bit concerned and didn't know what to expect when we arrive. However, when we arrived we walked into a lovely clean chalet. We went our for the day and when we came back we were greeted by friendly cleaner who gave us new sheets, towels and soap. I've learnt never to believe everything you read, rather just go and experience it for yourself.

I attended a team building trip on the 16th, 17th and 18th of February and I must say I was very satisfied with the hospitality. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were extremely clean, before I attended I read some reviews and was a bit worried about the conditions of the place especially the review about the used condom found in 1 of the room draws, lol the first thing I done when I got there was check the draws and to my surprise there was not even a speck of dust, so if you wanting to have a family reunion, a get together or even a work related trip I would definitely recommend this place. Please don't just read negative reviews and believe them, these are people who either want to be treated as kings and queens or people who have personal issues with the owners of the place.

I attended a Family Reunion on 9th to 11th Feb 2018. We were absolutely disappointed for many reasons. Firstly when I walked in there was a tray and 2 soiled bathmats strewn on one of the beds. When I tried to switch the kettle on I got shocked. The Fridge was not working. The moment I switched on the stove there was a total blackout. Straightaway I foned Reception and they did sort everything out immediately. My point here is before a guest arrives a Supervisor needs to come in and do a quality check on all appliances drawers cupboards bedrooms (my aunt found a used condom in the bedside drawer) Now isn't that disgusting! The next day the replacement stove oven was not heating although the light came on. The microwave was not working. I was so fed up that I didn't bother complaining. The placemats were torn and looked disgusting and good for the trash. The sofas and furniture are the same old ones from 10 yrs ago. The chalet itself looks shabby and deteriorated. The Rock Pool although I swam in it I was told by family members that the water is murky and not clean. The only good thing was the outside jungle gym and play area and fresh lush lawns. We have always had our Family Reunions here Actually its our 4th or 5th Visit. We have made it clear to the families that we never coming back here. We will look at other venues in future.

I first visited this resort in 2012. To date we have been there thrice and nothing has changed. This last time we booked for a family get together and had +-12 chalets. The place is falling apart with no maintenance being done. Appliances like stoves, fridges, kettles and microwaves do not work. We had complaints of dirty sheets, shower doors that are broken, door handles that are damaged to such an extent that the guest cut her finger on it. The rooms are not cleaned properly. A mother with a 5 month old was badly bitten by spiders found in the bed. The amount of money spent in comparison to the service received was atrocious. We will definitely not be going back and will ensure that we advise all of the dump this place is.

Spent dis weekend at Ezulwini with plus minus 100 family members. Sad to say the place needs some serious revamping. The only thing that was looking neat n clean was the curtains. Room carpets n lounge suites urgently need washing. Rats in the hall area, spiders n lotsa ants in the apartments n lets not forget da many appliances that were not in working order. The indoor 'heated' pool was ICE cold, kids cudnt even enjoy that amenity. From my last visit plus minus 10 years ago, the place has really deteriorated. Has the potential to be a lovely holiday resort if management would upkeep and maintain the place.

First the pictures as deceiving. Buildings are not maintained. Decor is dated. My kids enjoyed the activities and the facility. But we went to Ballito for two days, had a seaview, was a walk away from the beach and the pricing was less then Ezulwini. The contrast in facilities is big.

Quiet and mostly tranquil setup ideal for families and self-catering. Well-appointed units, very clean and with daily servicing. Good views on the Drakensberge, with the silhouette of the mountain range in the background. The units have their own fireplace inside, so should also be cosy for cold winter evenings. Pool area inside is a bit small and when we were there, only a single bathroom/change area was available.

Overall a good experience. Staff are friendly and helpful and are always willing to help. Facilities have room for improvement.

It'll do but nothing flash. Room smelled like urine and 3 bedrooms as advertised was actually 2 bedrooms and one room in the open.

Nice place to go with family and friends safety and security is 100%, missing the indoor swimming pool ryt now as I speak I really loved that place.

I had no hot water. I called in the plumber he had thought he had fixed it but unfortunately there wasn't any hot water luckily my husband went and hopped into the back and saw that the valve was closed so he opened that and I finally had hot water to take a sensational shower …

Amazing management team that go Out their way and to make our stay enjoyable. Kids loved it. Will definitely recommend it to all.

Would not recommend. Very poor service and apartments. Most appliances don't work. Has a jamaat khana which is the only positive I found.

For the past couple years we have been coming here and it just get worse, they charge for everything, maintenance of the Entertainment is Zero, unfriendly staff. Basically it is a very neglected resort, Will not recommend anyone to stay here.

Peaceful and picturesque but units especially bathrooms could use an upgrade.

The resort does not provide for what you pay for. Their website is misleading; The pictures of the rooms / self-catering accomodation does not look like that at all. Their prices is very high for what you get, it's very old and not well maintained. Our Braai fell apart, the braai thongs was broken, the stake knifes was broken. The house inside, you could see where they fixed things or made changes and never covered it up well. The shower door was broken. Sleeper couch not of good quality and gross. The indoor pool is ice cold, and there is strict times when women are allowed to swim. This is however not advertised on their website at all that they mainly cater for Muslims. The hotwater was off when we got there and every bath / shower we had to wait 5 minutes for a bit of hot water. The play area is very old and again not very well maintained. Overall the quality of the resort is not worth what you pay for. We asked for our money back, but due to the fact that it's long weekend, we didn't have anywhere else to go.

Super quiet Lodge with beautiful Self-catering Chalets, conference rooms, and Rock Pool.

Eish. This place was a mistake. Room has no windows. One rickety fan for the whole unit. And really not up to par with similarly priced resorts in the area. I paid good money to bring my family here. What an anti climax. Worst part… We came here to get away from the noisy city. It's more noisy here! Music and partying through the night. And no supervision of patrons by the staff. All in all… I'm disappointed with my choice of coming here. My friends warned me, but I thought let me give it a go. So unless there's a mindset change from the owners of Ezulwini… Give it a miss.

Very relaxing and affordable.

Really decent accommodation. Clean, neat and well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom chalet with all the facilities and appliances in good condition. Lots of activities to keep the kids and the adults entertained (horse rides — great for early mornings and late afternoons, bicycles, tennis courts, volleyballl, soccer grounds, table tennis, trampolines and jungle gym. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Ample space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves while benefitting from the fresh healthy environment. Board games available for good family fun too. Pleasant staff and management. On site Jamaat khaana (prayer facilities) make it an even better holiday accommodation for muslims. Convenient little store on site too. Beautiful 15 min scenic drive to Royal Natal Conservation park, the main attraction site for daily hiking trips.
