The perfect getaway for your wedding weekend. We booked out the premises for our wedding weekend and had such a special time with our bridal parties the night before our wedding. Our wedding photos are all the more beautiful thanks to the stunning interior and surroundings of the quaint place! And Johan & Christelle, hosts don’t come any better than these two. We’re still in touch more than a year later — and have been back twice for a nights stay ❤️

Having stayed at this guest house for 2 nights, I can honestly say that Christelle and Johan are fantastic hosts. They’re always available, always friendly and helpful, and the room felt luxurious and spacious at the same time. My fiancé and I had a great time there, and will be back in the future for sure!

What I love about their guest house is Evening meals offered @ only R180.00 per person – starter, main course, dessert and a glass of wine/fruit juice.

Highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse with so much of heritage and history. One can see and hear the passion in Christelle & Johan's voices when talking to them! Large comfortable rooms, excellent linen, fabulous home made breakfast treats! Ideally located in Paarl, Western Cape.

This guesthouse is highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the hosts. It doesn't get any more helpful. For those who want to go hiking, except wineries. The route up to Paarl Rock is very close. Beautiful National Park. Wish you just as nice stay.

Whoa best experience of my life!

Just LOVE the spacious rooms, "stoep" and lush garden setting of this historic guesthouse in the quiet neighbourhood of mid Paarl. The owners of this romantic abode leaves no stone unturned to delight and serve guests. I personally love listening to stories about days gone by and the rich history of the Paarl. I was astounded to find out how many great Springbok rugby players stem from Paarl boys high, that the first news paper of South Africa "The Patriot" was printed here and that the only monument in the world dedicated to a language, resides on top of Paarl Rock. Go on… book your stay, you might just be lucky enough to have some of Christelle's home baked cookies served with tea!

This bed and breakfast is a rare treasure in the center of the Paarl. The rooms are decorated in the most elegant furnishings and materials reminiscent of linens weaved in the romance of Provence France. Attention to detail in decor are only surpassed by the personal and intimate service by the hosts of this lovely historic house. Apart from the spacious bedrooms, clean and well equipped bathrooms and well stocked coffee and tea stations, TV channels and free Wi-Fi, one can wonder off to a world of peace and serene calmness. The spoils of home baked cookies served with tea on the veranda is a welcomed invitation to leisure around the whole day. Each room has double doors opening up on a veranda with views of a lovely green garden, protected by huge old trees that could tell you stories of years gone by. A place to dream, break away from city life but still within walking distance of restaurants and interesting destination shops, wineries, monuments and museums. The owners Johan and Christelle van Rensburg knows every little corner of the Paarl and will set you up with invigorating visits to rejuvenate mind, body and soul. Not to be missed out on!
