It's been 5 months since we got married at Lapeng Guest Lodge and our guests are still raving about our wedding! I almost wish I could have been a guest because it looked like our guests had such a blast! Our guests loved the wedding weekend concept, how beautiful the lodge is and how friendly and accommodating the staff were. We are truly grateful for all Werner and his team did for us and for making everything run as smoothly as possible! Having to postpone our wedding because of COVID restrictions was not easy but the lodge was so understanding and accommodating. Out of all our suppliers, they were by far the best! Fantastic service, accommodation, food, and venue! They made us feel like family. Highly recommend.

We got married at lapeng about a month ago and I'm still in 7th heaven. From the moment we arrived Werner and the staff at Lapeng made us feel like family! The food and atmosphere was phenomenal; the program ran like clockwork and my husband and I could just sit back and enjoy the experience. Every moment of the entire weekend was so special and I'll appreciate every memory for the rest of our lives. I would recommend the weekend package to everyone!

Professional international standard service like you haven't experienced before. They under-promise and over-deliver. If they say they have it or you are going to get it, it will be there and you will receive it. The rooms are private and spacious in a tranquil environment, within a comfortable distance from the main building and parking is close to the unites. Ideal for functions like weddings.

Our wedding was an absolute fairy tale! We had this idea of a Lord of the Rings wedding and I can't express how amazing you made this come to life! Every request was ever too much, everything ran incredibly smoothly, the bridal party got spoilt with cocktails, shooters and pre-wedding snacks. The groom party had a small braai with all the drinks they could want! The chapel and reception hall was perfectly decorated, even when the bride forgot small things, it was sorted within minutes. The whole weekend wedding was a party of note! Unbelievable, we wouldn't have it as perfect at another venue. Thank you thank you thank you!

Spacious rooms with aircon, and wildlife almost on your doorstep. Amazing food and very decently price for the service. I'd go again and again and again.

A pleasant experience in summary. Staff were well trained, acommodating and friendly. I presume a variation of rooms are available with different levels of luxury. I had a less luxury room, which was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Food was good, especially the breakfast! Good Wifi. If possible, use the road coming from Lydenburg. The road coming from Steelpoort's side is extremely bad.

Lovely venue. Enjoyed the wedding we attended. Open sides thatch room church, pool bush trees clean open areas. Low and high end rooms. Make sure you know the room types. Food was good. Frindly owners very conciderate, friendly staff. Bar and stoep swimming and tanning. Many rooms. Most enjoyable.

Beautiful place with good ambiance especially for a wedding. They also have a small chapel. The accommodation is also good but not fancy. Their menu is limited probably as many people don't go there just for lunch or dinner. It's mostly the people staying there. A well kept place.

An excellent experience at Lapeng Lodge. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and the decor was beautiful. Our stay was very relaxing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definately come back here again.
