➜ There are certainly a few better places to stay on site. For the price of 800nrps per night I had a small room with access to the balcony however, the bathroom was two floors below me and for all accessible/guests of the hotel and visitors to the café. One could certainly still work on the cleanliness, such as: The carpet in the room sometimes vacuuming?!
There are small snacks and drinks at a not so cheap price but the place itself is dominated by prices for tourists.
If you just plan to spend a little time there, don't let a guide stop. The small area can be easily explored even in one day and the $15, 000 you have to pay for admission is high enough. But then you will be rewarded with beautiful views.
I probably wouldn't go back but it was okay.
Consider paying there are still some percentages to come!
A good hotel in the centre so great for exploring in the evening, although note that pretty much everything closes by 21:00 — including restaurants. Room was clean, although no hot water and the staff were friendly, breakfast was alright. Remember that this is in the square… so you'll need to pay the square enterance fee to get here.

It is very near from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and you feel living within the square area. The owner is very friendly and guesthouse is well maintained. Living here means having genuine experience of Bhaktapur. So quite so peaceful, really an impressive place.
