Third time we have stayed here the location is excellent base for walking. Peace and quiet at night lovely views of funchal. Local Bus 20 or 21 from funchal available to get you back up the hill.

An excellent choice of accommodation providing you are ok with peaceful setting located up an hill with excellent sea views; situated away from the main hotel and restaurant areas. Its a short walk downhill into funchal town and a very steep uphill walk back or you can choose to get a bus back. We walked down in the morning and back up at night but you have options as bus stop is only few minutes walk away or taxi. Apartment is clean and tidy with everything you need. Host's are 5 star… nothing is too much and they even picked us up from airport and dropped us off again. They are lovely people and very friendly. They even took us to the supermarket when we arrived in Madeira and then took us for a quick tour of funchal to learn the area. We purchased some pizza's from supermarket and then realised there was no oven… christina soon solved that problem by bringing us a small oven into our apartment… Amazing customer service. I can't really describe how fantastic madeira is… just a magical dream. Anyone who hasn't been… nedss to get on a flight and see what Madeira as to offer. Beware it's got very steep hills haha. We had a fantastic holiday and Madeira Holiday Flats were part of it and we will have many happy memories. Thank you. Regards… Marcus & Lee.
