The food was excellent the service was very friendly and they had superb live entertainment. They catered well For a large group and the gods was magnificent.

I wasn't there to EAT but to do EVALUATION of my RESEARCH, I thought it would be hard but NO, they're very WELCOMING and ENJOYABLE Crews and Staffs!

Huge selection of food… not all were good. The honey glazed ribs were my favorite.

If you’re in Tacloban, one of the choices you can stay. The place is in the middle of town, convenient if you don’t have a ride. One less star for parking. There’s a complimentary buffet breakfast included. The staff are accommodating and friendly. One place to pick around the area. Wi-Fi was one less star, since you have to access different PW for different areas of the hotel and you have to turn on the TV kn your room to access the Wi-Fi. Otherwise, we had a good time for he 4 days stay.

I really love this hotel because of their superb customer service and the extra effort that their general manager exert to make your stay more comfortable. They have a wide spread of buffet breakfast including their native delicacies. Coffee is always hot and really strong good quality coffee. If you're a regular guest their Gen. Manager Sir Jerick will send some goodies to your room with a hand written welcome note. The hotel is situation right in the heart of the city, fast food, convenient stores and drugstores are just a few steps away. Sto. Niño church is also walking distance from the hotel.

My wife and I booked this hotel as we had been advised that it was of a high standard in Tacloban. On our arrival we were not disappointed with the facilities and the ambience of the hotel. We were however let down by an issue in our room as on stripping back the bed we found that the sheet was thread bare and had holes in it. Having stayed in many hotels around the world this was the first time we had experienced this. Having said that we were very happy with the way the staff and management dealt with our complaint and as a result they were able to rectify our initial disappointment and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. We will stay there again in the future on our travels. We would like to thank the resident manager Mr Jerick M Florano and the duty staff for the very professional and polite way they handled our complaint and retained our future custom which could easily have been lost had they not put themselves out to make amends. It is always nice to see hotel staff who have received the best training in hospitality and have the best communication skills when dealing with the public. Well done.

Visited the Z spa for the first time and got a good service. I got the hot stone massage and it was really good. You just need to wait for 20 minutes before they start the massage as they will heat up and prepare everything for the massage. Place is fairly neat. The space is a little bit tight compared to other spa in town. But the massage therapist who took care of me did a good job!

Good place to stay, withing city center walking distance to shops & supermarkets, good hotel breakfast buffet, good service.

Ordered a tom Collins. Specified “only soda water, no tonic water, no added sugar. ” Brings me a tom Collins made with sprite…? Send it back. Again, said I just want soda water, gin and lemons. Brings me a drink with less sugar than sprite but still a ton of sugar. Feel terrible asking for them to remake a drink a third time but ask again thinking maybe it’s the cultural difference. I specify again, soda water, NOT tonic. I’ve said this every time because even in the states it’s occasionally mistaken. They bring me the ingredients separate this time… what do you know… a can of TONIC water. And a shot of gin, lemon juice and lemons. I bring it to the servers attention and he said oh I meant to bring the soda water… and has the audacity to come back and ask if “it’s alright” if they charge me for one of the wrong drinks they brought me. I said no… I didn’t drink them and I told you what I wanted but told them to do what they want. “thank you ma’am”… your welcome for never receiving my business again. Wasn’t exactly swamped either. Oh and I ordered a matcha lava cake. Took over a half hour. They apologized 10 minutes to saying it will only be another 5 minutes. And then it came out burnt. At this point I gave up trying to tell them anything. Clearly they don’t care. Pretty sure I’ve only left one other poor review on here and it was for a medical billing service. I eat out every other day. And travel to a different country 3 or 4 times a year. For perspective.

It’s one of the better hotels in Tacloban. The rooms are big and very modern. The food is also good. And the people are very accommodating.

We came by here for a dinner in one of their rooms. The room was nicely set up and the toilet was very clean. There were beverages ready even before the party started. The food was ready when everyone arrived. Most of the food was amazing, particularly the fish. The lechon was disappointing though, skin chewy and not carved properly. Overall the food was tasty and the people there were friendly and nice.

Nice restaurant at the ground floor and bar at the top floor. Conveniently located at the heart of Tacloban City. Within short walks from the commercial and business areas of the city. Rooms were probably great when the hotel was new. However, they are not so well maintained. Some rooms have broken toilet fixtures. Others have broken toilet tiles which could be hazardous to someone showering. Water pressure is low for showers. Closets have broken drawers. It's strategic location is the only best point for staying at this hotel.

The focus of this hotel is to make guests feel at home. When you are here in Tacloban make the right choice to check in here at XYZ. Here the rooms are perfect for every one. You can choose by king bed or family room its your choice. Because here at XYZ everyday is always a holiday.

Expansive. Will be rated as a budget hotel in a major city but a good place for a province. Nice roof lounge. Located in the heart of the town (there's not many real cities in the Philippines. Don't be fooled by the name) for better or worse.

The room was clean and as described, the free drink and free buffet breakfast was very good and we had dinner at Q their main floor restaurant. The food was excellent and the prices were very low in comparison to other places I've eaten in the Philippines.

This hotel is probably one of the best hotels in Tacloban. Upon arriving their lobby is beautifully filled with Christmas decors while the staffs greats you with a smile. Interiors are nice and they have that chic and trendy look. Room rates are reasonable. They have that classy interiors for their rooms. They also have a pool on the 9th floor and a bar with live music at night. I enjoyed my one night stay there especially the breakfast buffet. And their Korean Sulbing is a must try. Overall, staffs are friendly, beautiful place, and although they have minor issues in the rooms this alphabet hotel is worth recommending for business or family affairs.

The food was very good and staff was great. The rooms were clean and the Wi-Fi work really good.

A real nice hotel. The decorations in the front door during the start of Christmas Season were worth the stay alone. Reasonably priced, and close to the McArthur monument if your planning a visit. I would recommend this hotel, based on location alone. Showers were good with strong water, bed was comfortable, room was big and clean, and the staff were friendly and kind.

I have had so many guests check in here at this hotel and they all had a nice experience. Staff, may it be the front desk or the cleaners are always smiling and courteous. Food is great especially at FYZZ, dine ate night and you will also be enthralled of the night city view.

Nice new hotel, but quoted price does not include VAT & service charge. Extras include two 250 ml bottled water and shampoo/body wash. No disposable razor or toothbrush.

Boutique hotel. Nothing ostentatious but full of quirky character represented by very small reception area. Modern lifts. 9th floor infinity pool is rather too 'exposed' being overlooked by restaurant bar. The restaurant food was supposedly Greek and Japanese but was a big variation on the real thing. Conversely the ground floor restaurant was genuinely good with nice decor and no pretentiousness. Downtown location was good for obvious reasons. But the big plus was the staff. Professional helpful and very friendly in a way only Philippines can achieve. Hotel XYZ excels in this regard. The other big plus. Not many overseas tourists. Most patrons are local. Wonderful.

Its a lovely hotel inside — the outside view isnt so good and its in a busy street. The rooms and decor is super. The bext feature of this hotel, in my opinion, is the restaurant. The food there is a absolutely fabulous: Thai, Japanese, American and Chinese. Try the baby back ribs, its huge ans delicious.

Clean, small rooms, restaurant above average. Breakfast had a better selection than most hotels I've been to in the Philippines.

Had dinner at Fyzz, their roof deck dining area. The chicken souvlaki was so good — tender, juicy and a bit spicy! Over-all ambience was great with its interior design, lighting, seating types, music and the view. Will surely dine here again when I go back to Tacloban.

A nice hotel with nice rooms. I thought at first that they have small rooms but it turned out to be bigger than I expected. The complementary buffet breakfast is something to look forward to. This hotel is a must try.

Good and Friendly staff. A little bit pricy.

Everytime I stay there they change the rate on me plus last time they tried to put me in a small twin room, wich one would have to squeeze in between the pole at the end of the bed and the wall. The booking price was 2571p for a queen and they tried to charge me 3200p for a small twin room. After asking for my money back they changed my room to a king. Just watch there pricing!
