Friendly staff, near the airport, quiet place, food is good, nice pool and garden and nice atmosphere.

The room is beautiful and very spacious, they also have plenty of hangers and space for clothes. The serving size of the food at their bar and restaurant is "sulit" /worth it, eat inside their Wine Cellar Room for more romantic ambiance! Must try: Chicken Sisig and International sandwiches, don't forget to ask for mustard — one of the best mustard we tasted!
P. S. The staff are very hospitable and kind, they are more than willing to assist you if you want to set-up a special event or any surprises.

The owner is so amazing! the staff was so friendly, the room is so cool and beautiful, and clean I love all the wood carving the pool was clean and crystal.

Pictures online do not respresent the run down place we checked into. When a room was finally made available to us, it didn’t have towels until we followed up a third time. We visited the pool once (jacuzzi was broken) and my daughter cut her feet in three places while inside the pool! They did send us an ill equipped gross looking first aid kit. By the time I hit the shower that evening I lost it completely. I had to hold the shower head as the handle would not hold it AND I couldn’t change the temperature control as it was around 30cm above my reach! The menu is extremely overpriced and tries to cater too much to international western foods — most of what was offered even the Filipino items were more expensive than Australia! Also they had two huskies in cages which had no water in their bowls over the time I was there when I checked. Effing woeful! Worst place I’ve ever stayed in! They also have this weird mooing sound at night which is supposed to emulate zoo noise :/

My favourite hotel in palowan, the welcome is tremendous, from the Hotel beagles! And the Swiss proprietor, a Home from homes you must visit!

Good place for nature lovers and budget friendly as well… with a bar and restaurant to fill your emptiness…

Enjoyed the pool, and although quite pricey, I was impressed with the variety of food they had on offer at the restaurant, it caters for nearly everyone, rooms were of good size, bathroom could do with an upgrade though.

Lovely place. Must stay. Surrounded by forest looks So amazing and feel so natural. Perfect for vacation and rest. Wifi they have quite good coz on island u cant find it. Stuff is so nice and helpfull. Restaurant is amazing. Big portion and I recommend mango fresh juice. Was so tasty and lovly. Price r ok. They have pool also and during night time u can find small party there.

We had a bad experience in this hotel. Breskfast cost expensive — $1100 for 2x pancakes and coffee. Shower pressure — low, like garden hose. To exit you must traverse mud road. No transport available in the area. Tricycle ride (when available) 80 pesco per ride to town. Ride will take a bumpy 20 — 25 mins. Moved hotel assp. No refund given depsite tour package "free breakfast included". Hotel said they would give us a refund in person, they failed to do what they said.

My favorite hotel, beautiful, colorful, swim up bar, Wi-Fi, great staff, and two beautiful dogs you are encourage to walk if you so please, which I did a lot. Love it here and will encourage my friends and family to come too. Near the airport and they will organize tours for you at a good rate. Highly recommend!

Our room here were nice. And they have a game room, a small but nice pool connected to their bar. They have cute dogs too which you are allowed to walk them out if you like. Few minutes (7mins) away from the city.

Deep Forest is very relaxing. Nice place. Nice swimming pool with jacuzzi. Very clean. Courteous and friendly staff. Surely. Its worth recommending to others.

Nice big shop! There is a food court and a cinema.

There's a minivan shuttle from the airport, 60p per person. It's available even late evening. Maybe best to arrange it with the hotel beforehand though. It's a long way and not in the centre, in Bancao-bancao, a long journey in the dark if you arrive after 6pm. A tricycle from the centre costs 60 or 80 in evening. The place is beautiful and has a very attractive swimming pool. The rooms are decorative with wood carvings. Some rooms look into the swimming pool, others are upstairs. Smart signal is almost non existent here, even for calls. But most rooms have a good Wi-Fi, but not all. If you have one without Wi-Fi, you will have to go to pool or reception. Our room had problems with toilet, flush inside and also a blockage. Water pressure is also an issue in dry season. Palawan has frequent "brown outs", but there is a generator. The bed is comfortable, you will have a good sleep. The floor is slippy tiles in bedroom and small stones in the bathroom. There is a mini bar which is expensive for Philippines. There is no free water, you must buy it for 60p at the on site sari-sari store. This around double the normal price. There are no coffee making facilities, as design no doubt. You get soap and shampoo. Aircon is strong and our thermostat worked fine. The food is expensive but high quality. Our stay included a breakfast. It was peak season and there was only 1 waitress, it took 15 minutes to get a coffee, and then after asking her twice.

My secret tip for you. An really amazing but hidden and very beautyful hotel. I loved it there.

Literally it is located deeply in the forest lol. I mean it takes 15 min. To arrive. Big rooms can have a whole family. Wi-Fi connections anywhere inside hotel. Swimming pool with poolside bar and kiddie pool. Kind staff. Loved my stay here.

Not bad place with serious lacks… Let s be serious: the pool is great but for this category hotel having no one to bring your luggage when check in, not have a safe lock at reception (because they do not have enough), a paid brekfast (really average) and hearing that they cannot when you ask reception to book you a restaurant is not acceptable behaevior, as the obligation not to pay by card when booking a tour.

Great value for. Money, a place to come back to, service impeccable, pool always super clean, no negative feedback what so ever.

Very nice place, excellent rooms, AC working, shower working (even the hot water). Pool okay with Jacuzzi. Best internet access in the phillipines. Good food, a bit pricy but large portions. Close to the airport, and hotel trips to various sights. Good motorcycles. Walk the bassets please and feed Oneeye :)

The best I have experienced in 35 years of travel. Very much comfort for little money. Absolutely great and Recommendable.

Large rooms, tasty food, big portions.

Good value when I was there, nice enough room and a good selection of food even though the food was a bit pricey. Wifi was good except in one room but we were able to move.

DF is a little remote and you need to go through a short narrow dirt road driveway. A security guard greeted us and directed us to the front desk. Staff checked us in quickly as we prepaid for the rooms. Rooms were big and very decent for the area with local styled furniture. It has a big pool with a pool bar and a separate life size chess pieces in a chess board pool. It is surrounded by many plants and trees. Grounds for more mosquitoes than one would like. You can eat in an open area or in the bar "celler" area where it is air con and stock with liquor wall to wall. We had local Filipino food which included salted eggs, lumpia, squid, fish, vegies which we liked but some foreigners may not. Price is reasonable as with eating in the city or even on the Baywok. Overall, except for the mosquitoes and the remote location, the place is very decent and reasonably priced.

The place isn't bad. Pool is big and there r some cute cats here too.

Hotel has nice gardens and a lot of trees/plants and decorations everywhere. Rooms are nice with good airconditioning, bathroom is ok. They offer tours at the office. Restaurant feels overpriced, quality of the food is not great.

It's not near any beaches, full of plants and concrete animal sculptures mosquitoes on property, but overall cleanliness is superb. Pool is on repair while I was there. Clean surroundings and expect high in privacy.

Perfect place for a Large Group or just a couple. We really enjoyed staying in this place. Hope to come back again here nextime.

Close to the beach and A15 minutes. From the center and airport by taxi. Interior of the hotel Nice, with lots of vegetation and lots of mosquitoes in the room. Nice pool with bar and Jacuzzi which without hesitation is the best of the hotel. Spacious.

Very good reception, very good service, good food, nice staff, very nice setting!

During wet season this is a great bargain, huge room artistic with attractive pool. Restaurant is pricey but the food is truly memorable. Drinks and snacks at the hotel are quite expensive but sari-sari stores are within walking distance. During peak season accomodation prices climb its your choice.

Beautiful place, poll etc. Cheap accommodation but they by get you with the restaurant and bar so move out to Puerto for your food everyone.

Very nice place. Very accomodating people. The food are pricey but for those who love to taste food inspired by other countries its for you.

Staff are excellent and the chamber maids work hard. The grounds are swept everyday and maintenance staff work hard. TV quality could be improved as satellite reception nit good.

Living in the suburbs of comparison, there is a car from the city. There is no place to eat nearby, the hotel is not cheap to spend. But the room was very cheap, the room was large and there was a swimming pool.

Great price performance for the rooms. Nive pool. But everything additional has a price tag. The restaurant is far, far, far overpriced. Maybe the most expensive restaurant in town. Nice wine cellar with huge variety. Wines are expensive. Forget to order the lower priced third, everything below 1000 php ist not drinkable, they are 5$ and below wines in europe.

Not so nice! A bit far from everywhere. Restaurant staffs arent very nice. There were no waitresses attending tables, had to call them from the kitchen everytime we need to order something. The room was okay but it was very noicy in the morning. We stayed near the kitchen, staffs were too loud we can hear them in the room.

Deep Forest is a nice place, including it's facilities. Value for. Money. Very big rooms for the whole family. Recommended for family get-togethers and bonding.

Not far from the airport, the rooms were cheap and tidy, the food was good fit the price and the pool and swim up bar made it much better.

Very cool, kitschy hotel. Great pool and swim up bar and really eccentric room decor. Food was ok and drinks were pricey so BYOB or buy room rum. A neat place to stay for a night or two while traveling.

Nice rooms, good Wi-Fi, nice staff. Expensive international menue, not much local food. Nice pool, but hard to really sunbade because all the trees and flowers sourunding! :)

Idyllic Hotel. Can you recommend, even if it is 10 minutes away from the bustling city centre.

On high season, this place is reasnobly priced. On low season, it is very affordable. It offers great rooms for prices you wont believe. It has accomodations for everybody — whether you are travelling as alone, as a couple or as a group. They have standard, delux, junior family and family rooms. The food is also great. They have local cuisine, as well as select foreign dishes that are very delicious. The staff is great. They make you feel welcome the moment the hotel shuttle service picks you up from the airport to the check in at the front desk. They also have welcome drinks for you when you arrive while you wait for your rooms to be ready. The hot3l staff made us feel very comfortable and at home while we stayed. As far as ammentities go, they have a decent pool. They also have a bar at the pool where you can emjoy a drink or two while you swim and have fun. There is also a jacuzzi at the side for those who want to relax. As an addee feature, they have a huge chess board on the water where you can exercise your mind and body at the same time. This place made our stay.

We would like to thank the whole staff and management of Deep Forest Garden Inn for our whole week stay in this hotel. Everyone was very nice, friendly and accomodating. From frontdesk staff, guards, housekeeping staff, and all the rest of them. We had a beautiful and clean room, nice and wide bathroom. Etc. It was easy to get assistance whenever we need one. Thank you most specially to fdesk ladies: Aska, Mitch, Tess, Jen, Joan; Reservation Staff: Tin, Joiz, Micai; Ana May and other staff, Kuya Joel, the security guard, Kuya Floyd and another driver for our airport transfer, and to their friendly and smiling boss. I am recommending this hotel not only because of their amenities, relaxing mood and great ambience, but most specially because of their excellent customer service. We stay here cuz I though its really cool. But we didn't like it not even love it. We have issue about the bathroom. For me not that good.

I recommend the Deep Forest hotel to every tourist who will visit Palawan, for me this is a paradise hiding from the forest I felt something different ambiance which I don't feel in my regular routine. I'm in the city but I felt like in different side of the world, the peace of mind only birds singing is the noise you will hear in the morning and when you go out to check the place there is a wine cellar bar if you want to have some beer, they also have a gaming room if you want to play darts and billard, swimming pool jacuzzi or chess pool if just want to relax and they have Travel Agency "Tourister Travel and Tours" who can assist in your daily activities like Underground Honda Bay City tour ect,. The Travel agent are very knowlegable and reliable every detailed given was according in their proposed activity. Exact pick-up schedule, hazel free, excellent tour guide, professional drivers and rest assure that they have a travel insurance once you go out for the tour :) :) :) ).

The accommodations are great and the people there are so nice. But the foods are expensive.

AGODA has the cheapest prices for here. The hotel room was ok for the cheap price. Not bad but the bathroom smelled. The food at the restaurant was absolutely disgusting and over priced. I am a vegetarian and the only things available to me were slices of cheese which costs about $10 or vegetable curry. Sometimes I get tired of eating curries but wow, the cheese was disappointing. The restaurant serves one type of pizza made on french bread but said, and I quote "It is impossible to make it without ham". I don't recommend staying here if you don't want to spend a lot on your food and it is a $6.00 ride into town each way to get food, think ahead.

This hotel stole from me! The Emlpoyees stole clothing, jewelry, sunglasses and even my lady-shave razors. The manager knew it and did nothing to help or support me. He insulted me and was very aggressive. Do not book this hotel.

Love this place, rooms, food, staff. Everything, even a great pool with bar. And jacuzzi. The king size room is as made for a king, and with great wi fi also.
