We stayed in their family room and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and how comfortable the room was! We like the monggo with bagnet soup, and the breakfast menu as well. The van service to and from the airport is prompt and the driver is very nice as well as the man who was assigned to clean our room. This is the very first time I am writing a review about a hotel only because our family really felt satisfied! The hotel’s location is hard to beat as it is near good restaurants, an italian gelato place and right beside it is a pharmacy. 5 mins from the airport too.

Great location, spacious room with very comfortable bed and pillows, good food and wonderful (spa) massage. The Ivy Wall Hotel is highly recommended for families who would like to enjoy the city and have access to Undergound River and Honda Bay. The hotel arranged our tours making our 3-day vacation very convenient and worthwhile.

From the momment we arrived into the driveway, we were greeted with smiles and greetings. Booking was a breeze, and from the front desk to the room the hotel was very clean. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from airport. Pool was complete with a bar. There was a spa and a gym. There was a delicious 5 star breakfast and what ever you don't see ask because the great chefs will whip it up for you. I handled all my excursions and taxi rides and needs through the front desk. Maybe it was the timing or not but our laundry was done the same day. Because I hurt my knee (old football injury) we were able to extend our stay instead of going to El Nido and because of that the staff more than made our extention worth it. The resturant that is attached to the hotel has few food selections but what they have is great. The resturant comes complete with cultural dancers and a live band. A nice size patio serves as your dance floor, while the stars and well placed lighting gives a great romantic ambience. All the staff are well lead by such leaders as Lawrence and Modesto, because it shows in the pride and passion in the people that they lead… like James, LD, Janna, Felma, and entirely to many others to name. Thanks again for your hospitallity and for allowing us to be part of your family… if only for a week.

Good and clean hotel. Staff friendly. However I am very disappointed with the room I got. Might have something to do with hotel was running high occupancy. But I did on purpose book in higher room category to have good view. I booked Premier Room. I got a room with only a very small window facing a massive aircon compressor. I did mention this 2 times to the friendly staff at the front desk, but they could not do anything since the room according to them was Premier room and hotel was running high occupancy.

For the price, and considering other hotels on the island, it is great. Its looks relatively new and updated and has a pool, spa, gym, restaurant, shop. Friendly staff. They have pick ups for the airport and are located only 10 minutes from it as well. For the price its the best in town.

I love the ambiance in Anibong Restaurant, staff are very accommodating. I ordered Sinigang na Salmon, and feels like heaven! This is the best sinigang I ever taste! This is a must try. I tried the famous Kalui restaurant, but not that good like in ANibong Restaurant of Ivywall. Price is reasonable, at 300 pesos, you will enjoy you Salmon, and the serving is good for 2. Two thumbs up! I definitely come back.

An almost perfect experience at Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel. We used the function room for our Seniors' Night, and the venue was perfect. Well-lit room, a pleasant environment, good sound system, and a complete package for audio-visual presentations. The food was great, too. The buffet dinner was well-prepared and has good taste. The personnel assisting and serving waters were nice. One of the best places in Puerto Princesa City.

The Ivywall Hotel was chosen as our place of stay during our time in Puerto Princesa, primarily for it being conveniently located near the airport. The Hotel provides a free airport shuttle service and the driver of the smart mini-bus was awaiting us at the exit doors of the airport at the allocated time, to tale us the short drive to the Hotel. Upon arrival at the Hotel we were greeted by very friendly and effective staff, who checked us in without any fuss or problems, something, any traveller to the Philippines will testify, is not the norm! On top of that, despite us arriving very early and many hours before the “official” check-in time of 15:00 hours, we were given the keys to our rooms. On the way to our rooms we had a chance to take in the details of the hotel, which, owing to the fact that it only opened few months before, was immaculately maintained and perfectly clean. The same was true for the well-equipped and spacious rooms. Everything in the rooms and in the hotel was in good working conditions, again, something not necessarily standard in the Philippines and the Wi-Fi was by far the best connection we had anywhere on this Island. As a guest, you also have access to the nice pool, which is not too chlorinated, and the attached bar, serving very nice fruit shakes and other drinks. The Hotel also includes a little Spa, where we relaxed having some, not necessarily cheap, but very good Thai and Swedish massages.

Cozy hotel with all the amenities you need, spa, gym, nearby resto. Service is good, location is central. I'll stay here again!

This is the best hotel in the area. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are in a luxury hotel. The staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious and clean, there are a lot of lights and big windows. The bathrooms are nice also complete with a rain shower. There is an all you can eat breakfast and there are two restaurants on site. There is a gym, spa with massages, and pool. The drinks at the pool bar are well presented. We had an early flight to the airport upon checkout and the staff packed a breakfast for us. Great experience.

Good staff, comfortable bedroom, it has a spa by the gym were they offer massage for the same price than at the beach in El Nido. Felt like in a super luxurious hotel. The best hotel I stayed in the Philippines. Loved it!

A highly recommended accommodation in the city. The hotel is still mint. There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the luggage. The bed had exactly the right hardness according to my needs. The restaurant is also recommended. The pool is OK. However, I would like to warn you about the tours offered. However, this is not the fault of the hotel, but of the tourism company. Unfortunately, all the tourism companies available in the city are on the same level. I booked the Honda Bay Tour and was picked up 6:30. A 3-hour tour through the city followed, and then 30 minutes waiting in the harbour. From the hotel to the boat (approx. 3 km) 3, 5 hours. The tour itself was more of a taxi boat tour. Nothing has been explained or shown. One has been deposed on three islands on which there is not much to do. I luckily didn't rent snorkels and aqua shoes. As I said, this cannot affect the hotel. That's why five stars.

Upon check in — they will asked you to put P2000 pesos. On my second day, I used the hair dryer and it was broken. I called the Reception and reported the hair dryer. They replaced it but when I check out, The management charge me on a broken blower/hair dryer. They told me that why I did not report on my first day when I checked in? It was completely not fair. So I was charged P2000 person for a broken hair dryer. Also there is no Towel and Toiletries unless you call them several times. It was completely bad service.

Everything is beautiful and perfect! We came from a long travel El Nido but when I saw our room I got recharged and wanted to try their beautiful pool. Our room is so nice. They upgraded our room from deluxe to premier w/o extra charge. Bed and pillows are comfy. Toiletries are aromatic scent. Big TV and nice toilet. The breakfast buffet was so delicious esp their tocino and milk fish. I did not missed their breakfast coz I read a lot of nice reviews. And what I liked from this hotel is their excellent customer service. Staffs are all worferful. I would love to go back again in Puerto princess and will stay there again.

Hotel is nice and modern. Breakfast activity needs a lot of improvement. The cook that makes eggs is unable to handle the busyness when guest orders their eggs. I was the 6th order that he needed to prepare that ended up forgotten. He totally forgot. He also had an attitude. That I think is unacceptable and needs improvement.

They messed up our booking. We were informed that our booking was cancelled the same day we were about to check in. 3 hours before check in time. The cafe latte that was served was spoiled. The milk they used was bad and the milk was already curdling on top of the froth. Our one day extension was handled well by the front desk but it was weird because while we were speaking to the reservations officer, she said she'll get back to us but never did. It felt like their staff was not communicating with their managers hence decisions being drawn out and resulting to inferior customer service. Hoping they could improve their services specially after we've experienced one night from a different hotel (since they cancelled our first night. )

Pros: Delicious meals. First class service. Spacious & comfy room. Complete with toiletries, hair dryer, bathrobe, slippers, writing table. I especially like the bedside two-way switches for the lights. Con: Passing noise right outside the door could be heard inside the room.

Excellent value for money. Very good size rooms. Very attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Nice location. Very convenient to shopping mall and airport without airplane noise.

We had a King bed room and it was spacious and clean. Housekeeping came once daily — only once they forgot to give us new hand towels. The pool is a lovely area with a bar. More lounge beds are needed — there are only 3. Room service for food is apparently available till 11pm however we called a bit past 10pm and was told the kitchen was already closed — this was disappointing. The buffet breakfast is till 10am but 2 mornings we were down there at 9am and there was very limited food left. We had to continually ask for more food to be brought out/replenished. The coffee and milk also had ran out and we had to ask for this also. There were plenty of staff on duty, they should have been more observant and organised the replenishing of food and drinks without the customers asking. The reception staff were excellent very helpful and welcoming. We particularly liked Robert. He was excellent. He welcomed us, helped us with our bags, showed us around our room, helped us book tours, answered all our questions and was even there to farewell us. Thanks Robert! Overall a pleasant stay, a few improvements in the above areas will make the hotel fantastic.

The location was perfect where it was, right outside you really get the feel of the local Philippine culture. We were lucky enough that it was the week of a festival that only occur once a year. The hotel's about 10min-4hr from most excursions. The rooms were incredible! everything you need and the comfort you'll need after a long day of adventures of the island. The service is probably what made this hotel the best! all the staff I mean all including the security guards are nicest and polite staff you've ever met (maybe because theyre just filipino? ) who knows but I am sure glad that we stayed and will recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

This hotel was awesome and well priced! Everyone is super nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a van that drops you off at the airport and picks you up.

Exelent specially James at the pool bar. We had dinner and cocktail drinks there. His service was 5 star and excellent customer service. I would hightly recommend it.

We had our anniversary dinner celebration here and it was amazing! all staff are very courteous and a very sumptous foods made our night even better! I highly recommend this place for your special occasions. Kudos to Ivy Wall Puerto Princesa!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good bath room. Our room was bit noisy and breakfast not so good for western people. Could do with more choice for all.

Lovely hotel right next to Puerto Princesa airport. Staff we're great, always spoke when you saw them and nothing too much trouble. We stayed in a standard room and couldn't fault anything, room was big and spacious, beds we're nice and comfy and bathroom had nice rainfall shower. Also used the pool which was nice to relax by in the evening. Their in-house spa was great too, we had two full body massages and the prices where very competitive!

Ok, best in town but the town is pretty average. Good for a stopover and staff Andre very nice. Food is ok.

Very good hotel, much better than I was expecting. We had a very large comfortable room which was nicely fitted out, en-suite, satellite TV, good A/C etc. Breakfast want a huge selection but was enough, we also had lunch which was tasty. The staff are super friendly especially James who worked at the pool bar. Massage is also very good at 700 php although no music just the whir of the A/C. Also just 2mins from airport and complimentary transfers to and from. Would recommend.

Room and breakfast were OK. The rest unfortunately a disaster.
To check in we had to wait over half an hour to be sent to a wrong room. We had booked a double bed and got two single beds. When we were hooked, they told us that the rooms were booked out. It would have been possible to tell directly. They offered us the! Beds to be pushed together!. At a hotel, this kind of totally unprofessional. After discussion, one upgraded and then to a premier room. This was in spite of higher price category dirty and lamps, as well as shower broken. The bed was comfortable but also there you found stains.
The staff were also unprofessional and incompetent. A request or thank you was never heard and the staff chatted rather loudly privately than to use.
The breakfast buffet was OK but unfortunately the food was not replenished regularly. So you had to wait for half an hour for bread.
From a Best WESTERN plus everyone would expect more.

The hotel and the rooms in itself are really nicely decorated, but unfortunately it also stops here again. The front office team is incompetent, gives false information and does not share relevant information. The concierge is never busy. Some 15 minutes waiting time at the front office to ask a simple question. It was only on demand that we were helped to bring the suitcases into the room (through security). The excursions offered are completely overpriced. When booking the transfer to Port Barton we were also wrongly informed and off. The transfer took 5, 5 hours, instead of 3, 5 hours. After two hours of travel we drove back to Best Western Hotel.
Hotel furnishings and food were perfectly fine. The rest was an absolute insolence! The direct service to the guest should have a four-star hotel of the order of magnitude.

I'd give this place 4.5 stars! This place is awesome, free breakfast buffet, which is better than Centro's (hotel). The place is relatively new. Everything still feels fresh. The restaurant's prices are super competitive to outside restaurants. The staff was wonderful. If I had kids; a family, I'd definitely bring them here.

Very close to airport. There's a transfer to the airport every two hours.

Rooms are very good (as expected). Beds are also good although there are only Queenseize and no Kingseize double beds.
Pool is okay, the rest area is a little small.
Breakfast is excellent.
Internet is good.
