Grounded heater and awful shower, changed their breakfast from buffet to a la carte without updating their ads online (misleading much? ). But very good housekeeping and Sabie Bakes desserts were the best. Would recommend but don't expect your special requests to be catered as they are very strict with their policies. 3 out of 5 stars.

It was indeed a great stay. ❤ I love everything about this place. They've made our stay worthwhile. The staffs are so kind, the place is so peaceful and the surrounding is so clean, not to mention that their Sabie's cafe is very cute. It was beyond our expectations. Thank you Ala Amid Bed & Breakfast for taking care of us.

What a great stopover. Everything seems relaxed. Only 14 rooms and a great pool. Lovely surroundings to sit and enjoy the restaurant food, coffee or a cold beer that are all available here.

Very accommodating staffs. They are responsive and attentive to our requests. Clean and spacious rooms. Delicious buffet breakfast. I love the ambiance of the pool and their café, Sabie bakes. Excellent communication upon the confirmation of booking and attentive to our queries. They help me arranged a surprise treat for my husband. They even sing and greet my husband on the 12mn of his birthday. Thank you Ala Amid!

I remember seeing this place 2 years ago on my last visit to Palawan, but I was unsure it would be ok, but now, I can see how wrong I was, from the very friendly staff, to our comfortable, clean room, a definite return stay, next time in Palawan.

This review is based on their food not on the hotel itself. They simply make the best burger in Palawan! 100% hands down delicious. I've had plenty of burgers in my life ranging from your typical fast-food joint to gourmet / fine dining interpretations of a burger and honestly I can't recall one that would rival this place. I've lived in Chicago, North Carolina, Tiburon, San Francisco, LA and San Diego but as far as burgers go I think this is tops. I'm just glad I live very close to this place.

We stayed here after our long trip from El Nido!. I like the place. It is cozy. We were a group of 13 and we stayed at their family room and the room is big enough for us. Reasonable price. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Delicious food. I hope they will have more items on thier menu to choose from especially for dinner.

Great place but the breakfast is really not up to the European norm, expect weird fish, pork etc but no bread or good cereals. The pool is great.

Clean big room. Poor Wi-Fi signal. Only available in the lobby/cafe area. Pool is small.

I can say that one of the highlight in our palawan trip is staying in this hotel. The staffs are very courteous and kind plus they offer sumptous buffet breakfast. I love their room set up for our wedding anniversary plus the yummy cupcakes which they served during our anniv celebration. Their room-in massage service is also a must try. I will definitely go back to this hotel. Highly recommended!

Lovely bakery. Cupcakes, smoothies. Excellent set lunches of 198 pesos. Nice little empty pool. Everything is very nice.

Overall I was very pleased with this stay. The room was clean and a decent size considering the price paid. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The included hot breakfast was very good. The only thing that would need improvement is the food in their cafe. Overall I give the hotel 5 stars based on the excellent value received.

They help me set up my following 5 days in Palawan from booking all my tours (fire fly watching, island hopping, underground river, el nido transportation, el nido accommodation, el nido tours A & C). Ala amid made my vacation less stressful by taking care of everything for me. Ala amid has the best bakery and kitchen in all of Palawan! Each morning they have a breakfast buffet by the pool with a different selection each day that is included in your stay. My partner and I stayed here on our week long trip to Palawan and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to main attractions and the airport which was ideal for us, the hotel even has a complimentary shuttle to the airport. The room was clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool on site which was well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very good. If we travel to Palawan on our next trip to the Philippines we will stay here again!

This place is worth staying in Puerto Princesa! It is clean, the reception area right next to a little cafe — is neatly furnished and decorated! You feel comfortable here. The owner and the staff are very attentive and you really don't have to worry about anything, you have the feeling as if they would do anything for you! Top service! Our heater in the shower didn't work, and the owner fixed it right away! Thank you, we would definitely come back!

We stayed for 3days/2 nights and I must say it was totally worth it. The clean room, soft bed and tasty breakfast for an affordable rates were all made up the stay worthy. Its really a nice place to stay here at Palawan. You can also try their cupcakes for a sweet treat or take a quick dip on their pool for an afternoon chill.
The owners and staff were all kind and accommodating.
Kudos to Ala Amid. I will definitely stay here again for my next Palawan adventure.

Awesome service, free breakfast and swimming pool. They offer airport pickup and tour guide for underground river as well. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed in the room with 5 queen beds and 2 singles — could easily fit 12 people (it might be difficult with the 2 washrooms though! ). The breakfast was really good! There were some ants in the washrooms, very poor Wi-Fi, and bad signal on the local network.

From the moment we checked in until check out time the staff at Ala Amid were always friendly and made us feel like we were welcome guests. The accommodations were spacious and welcoming and always clean at a very affordable price. We didn't eat at the restaurant too often but we certainly enjoyed every dish we tried. In the morning there was a well stocked buffet which we took full advantage of. The pool area was well maintained with plenty of seating and a bar area if we wanted any drinks or food. If I have to come up with a critique it would be for new shower heads. Needless to say I loved my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I rated Ala Amid bed and breakfast 5 because the service was excellent. The staff are very accommodating and respectful. I also like the fact that it's not on a busy street. The place was very peaceful. I would come back to Ala Amid again when I'm back in Palawan. I don't normally eat cupcakes but their cupcakes were delicious that I had to bring some back with me to Manila! The place was well maintained by wonderful staff.

Really kind staff. Breakfast buffet is amazing by the pool. Cute and clean hotel. The rainbow cupcakes besides the reception table is a must try! Superb!

Clean and friendly. Breakfast is good. Scrabbled eggs and omelettes were never dry or overcooked but they kept serving over easy whenever we ordered sunny side up. Champorado was slightly overcooked one day out of two. There pool is kept very clean. If you're going to El Nido, they offer a van for less than what we had found on the Internet.

Highly recommended accommodation for your stay in Puerto Princessa. A pool with a sandbox for the kids, lovely entrance/lobby/cafe, very friendly and accommodating staff, very clean, decent and simple yet comfortable rooms, and scrumptious free breakfast buffet. Just perfect.

Cute and quiet hotel with Bed and Breakfast. Airport transfers are offered for free, and the front desk can arrange local transportation for safe travels to and from the lodging. Pool area looked very nice (didn't use), but it has plenty of space for a small outdoor gathering. Rooms were very clean and spacious!

Nice hotel. Very good value. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was ok (banana, rice, eggs and beans), but was cold we had to ask them to reheat it. They have free airport pickup. The hotel is not located a walking of either the ocean or main town to move around locally you will need to use a tricycle10 — 15 peso per person. The mall Robinsdistanceon is located about five minutes in a tricycle; there they have ATM, super market, drugstore souvenir shop and many restaurants. I will definitely stay at Ala Amid B&B again.
