ATMA Hostel & Yoga Hostel

Such a good place to stay. The owner was so friendly and so so helpful. Wifi worked extremely well, even in the rooms. Beds very comfortable. The best shower I have had in one and a half months. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Really nice areas to relax in the hostel and location is perfect. Would recommend this hostel 100%, it’s amazing.

This is just review for "meditation" class with Lauren in Atma hostel. It was only singing in the circle (not classical meditation) and it cost 10 soles. The teacher didn't care about our state of mind and she didn't speak clearly, it was hard to understand. I don't recommend classes with her!

This hostel is nice, peacefully and very clean. They offer a lot of activities such as mediation, yoga, surf, etc. The kitchen is big, clean and well equipped. The Wi-Fi is very good. Outside there is 3 bunnies and one turtle. One of the best hostel we add since 10 months!

A sweet hostel! Really comfortable with free filtered water, free (good) coffee in the mornings, a fully equiped kitchen, cheap yoga classes daily, and close to the beach. Really good place to relax!

Excellent hostel that takes care of you, both in body and soul. Good showers with real hot water, quiet nights, Netflix at night and coffee in the mornings. Base for surfers and yoga enthusiasts, public is mostly western European with sprinkles from other parts. Recommended.

Atma is a wonderful and special hostel. They made me feel welcome from the moment the door was opened. Everything is spotlessly clean, the hostel is well kept and has several wonderful areas to relax in, the terraces with hammocks are so inviting. Sweet little rabbits and 2 lovely turtles complete the family.

We were planning to stay at ATMA for 3 days and ended up staying for 10 we loved it so much!
Paul and Dani had only been open for about a month but they have got a fantastic thing going already!

ATMA hostel is a true gem of a find! Lively and buzzing in the day and peaceful and calm in the evening.
From before we had even arrived, the thoughtful and efficient ways of the lovely couple who run the hostel was clear. On arriving, we were warmly welcomed to a clean, spacious and charming place that came to feel like home very quickly.
The beds are comfortable and wide enough for my sons to both come cuddle in the morning. There are all sorts of lovely touches such as beautiful lamps and murals on the walls as well as Helen’s legendary works of art made from all manner of things she has collected around Huanchaco.
There is fresh coffee and tea every morning and the kitchen is clean and well equipped with plenty of space for your food. There is a shop just around the corner where you can buy most things, and the market, where I have found everything we need, is a 5 minute walk.
There are plenty of books and many games to play which also helps to bring people together as does the layout of the hostel with well thought out places to hang out, from the open plan living, dining area to the balcony where you can watch the waves roll in, to the roof where there is also the yoga studio and the garden with hammocks and the animals. With 4 fluffy rabbits and 2 tortoises, ATMA really has it all!
The guests here are a wonderful varied mix, with families from Peru, Slovenia and England, and travellers from all over the globe in the 10 days we were there!
