Highly recommend this hotel. Such a great experience! Beautiful rooms and common areas. We brought some delicious leftovers from a restaurant in town. Staff allowed us to store them in the hotel fridge, reheated for us later when we needed it, added some lovely salsa on a side and brought it to our room. I can’t imagine having this level of service anywhere else!

This place set the bar very high for a first timer in Cusco. I thought their piping hot shower water, impeccable food, and willingness to go the extra mile was just a normal thing for any upscale hotel in Cusco. Staff fluently speaks English which I also did not know was a rarity. I earned my Karen wings a long time ago, and this place did not disappoint. My only regret is that I did not have much time to explore the additional amenities due to being away touring.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

My husband and I are delighted. It is a very clean place, delicious food, the staff is attentive, the rooms very comfortable. Great place to stay, rest, practice yoga.

Top of the line, we just arrived and our experience is way above our expectations! Staff is super friendly and helpful, we had our first meal at their restaurant, great menu and delicious food. Our room is beautiful and we were surprised after dinner to find our bed turned down plus heat pads were left on our bed to warm it up, what a nice touch! So impressed so far and we just arrived! Can’t wait to experience more, we will be here 5 nights!

I loved this hotel. It was our first impression of Peru and it certainly left a wonderful impression. The staff are exquisite, the decor charming, rustic and comfortable and the facilities are wonderful. Our room was beautiful (it had a loft) and the whole hotel was nice and quiet. We had dinner and breakfast there and it was fantastic and the portion sizes were good. At night the courtyard was lovely. They had firepits and live music-a perfect way to spend the evening. It was everything I would want in a hotel and was good value. U would recommend staying here.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and just overall lovely. The service is incredible, the food (especially the included breakfast) was delicious, and the live-music every night from 6:30-8:30 was just magical. The hotel is close by to many awesome plazas in Cusco, and while it is down a narrow street, it feels cozily tucked into the mountain in the best way possible. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights before hiking the Inca trail, and one night after. The hotel stored our luggage, and brought it into our room before we arrived the last night. They also gave us a free upgrade to a suite after the hike, and even had heating pads waiting for us in the room tpthelp us ease our aching muscles! We cannot wait for our next stay here whenever we return to cusco! Absolutely a lovely hotel.

My partner and I were extremely pleased with Antigua Casona San Blas! We stayed in the "Senorial Junior Suite" and the room was spacious and appointed with tasteful decor that seemed to be in line with Peruvian design and the bathroom was quite nice (always a plus! ) Breakfast, which was included with the room, was great; it was a mix of buffet and made to order items that always came quickly and were tasty. We ordered room service for dinner several times as well and the food was always delivered quickly and tasted great. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We left to stay in the Sacred Valley for a couple of days to return to the hotel for one more night; they stored our suitcases and had them in the room ready for us on our return which was a nice touch after an exhausting day of travel. Finally, the value was great. We felt like we were staying at a much, much more expensive hotel than what we were paying for. I wholeheartedly recommend this as your hotel of choice in Cusco.

Located near San Blas Cathedral, this small boutique hotel provides a comfortable accommodation and decent breakfast. (Cold items served buffet style and hot items available off the menu cooked to order as part of breakfast inclusion) get a room facing into the inner courtyard as they are quieter. I had a room on the ground floor which has poor mobile and Wi-Fi signal so getting online was a challenge.

Absolutely lovely hotel. The rooms are good size and very tastefully decorated. The staff is very professional, helpful and warm. The location is a bit uphill, but less than a 10 minute walk from the main square. The included breakfast was also excellent… I appreciated the fact that hot items were made to order from the menu rather than being served buffet style. The restaurant also deserves a special mention. It may seem a tad expensive for lunch and dinner, but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, especially Fernando, more than makes up for the price. Our best meals of the Peru trip were had there. The only negative was the water in the shower not draining properly, but that was just a minor annoyance.

What a hotel. Fabulous, attentive staff, huge comfortable beds, super clean, great showers and a gorgeous courtyard with firepits to sit and have a glass of wine in. Really worth a stay! Breakfast is included at the restaurant and is fabulous. It’s really close to the main square and seems really secure and safe (as does all of Cusco to be honest! ). Just up the road is the centre of the San Blas neighbourhood which has a market at the weekend and is lovely — very bohemian. They also had some live music one evening which was lovely to watch and listen to. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This place is hands down amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable about the local area and will recommend or arrange whatever you're looking to get into. The general decor is very classy. Incredibly tasty food and drinks (Pisco all day every day). Wonderful patio to mingle with fellow travelers. Would definitely come back.

Our first day to Cuzco, full of expectations want to enjoy the value of the hotel, but in the evening to bathe unexpectedly no hot water, outside and cold, including other room partners also have no hot water, really make us very disappointed!

Most gorgeous hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Feels like you’re in a 5 Star mansion! Gorgeous bed linens, amazingly beautiful courtyard garden and fantastic fire pit lounge area in the interior open air plaza. Delicious free daily breakfast.

Excellent hotel, very good service, the architecture of the building is of a pre-Columbian house, very good prices, I highly recommend. The accommodations that has a garden view with the fountain are the best if you are travelling as a couple.

The place is very comfortable to rest, you need a refrigerator and a glass division in the shower.

Great old House renovated to be a great hotel. The service is friendly and excellent, they always try to help you and make you feel at home. The central courtyard has a gas bonfire that lights from 6pm to 10pm surrounded by comfy sofas that give the place a great romanticism. The rooms are very comfortable. Flat Tv. Rustic feeling throughout the cockpit. Bathroom: Totally new and very clean. They have at your disposal shampoo, gel. Moderate price.

I cannot recommend more about this hotel. The room is very clean. Staff is so friendly. Even the restaurant inside is unbelievable! Come stay in this hotel if you got any chance to visit Cusco.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful four night stay at Antigua Casona San Blas. It is the perfect place for comfort and luxury between adventures around the Cuzco area. The hotel itself is thoughtfully designed and the staff are incredibly friendly helping make the experience one of a kind. The hotel restaurant and bar are also as good as anything you would find if you ventured out into town. This is great for the relaxed stay at home night after a busy day in Cusco. Overall I could not have been more pleased and will definitely stay again on my next trip to Peru.

I loved the aesthetics of the hotel. It had a unique design, a nice courtyard area and a garden, free breakfast (made to order), and excellent staff. I didn't like room as much. It was too small for all of the furniture. The rooms are not very soundproof so if there's live music downstairs, you might as well go down to enjoy it because you're not going to be able to sleep.

Wonderful little hotel. Greaf front desk service with pleasant and helpful staff. My bags got misplaced by my tour company and they followed up on this to make sure I got them. Room was huge with separate living room. Balcony for both bedroom and living room with partial mountain view. Short walk to main plaza. Courtyard with fire pit was so cozy. Many options for breakfast. All in all and excellent small hotel when in Cusco.

This hotel has NAILED it for customer service. When we asked front desk for a 6am taxi, they thoughtfully offered to prepare for us a boxed breakfast to take away. They also didn't charge a premium for the taxi — it was the same price as hailing a taxi from the street. Rooms are charmingly decorated, clean, have heating (not always guaranteed in Peruvian hotels! ) and amenities were excellent. They've taken care to think about the details which make a hotel comfortable, down to the soft alpaca wool blanket at the foot of every bed. Lovely views as well!

This place is a gem. A beautiful restoration of an old building with a quaint courtyard and very cozy, comfortable rooms. Beds were great and there wasn't any noise to distract. We had a light dinner in their dining room — the room itself was beautiful — the food was well prepared and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also great — there's a small buffet plus the option for eggs, pancakes or a breakfast burrito. I had the burrito — delicious. Location is great as it's very close to the Plaza Mayor. Found all the staff to be friendly and accommodating. We're staying here again in a few days as we wind our way back to Cusco and I'm looking forward it already.

Hotel Antigua in San Blas was by far one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. Everything from the way the staff greets you as you first walk in the door, to how you feel on your incredibly comfortable bed is perfect. The location is just outside the main square and is near perfect. It can be a hike getting back up to from. A long day of adventure, but all is forgotten once you are there. The staff could not be more professional or helpful if they could be. The hotel was very beautiful and lavish, fit and finish everywhere was great. Along with the restaurant which served truely delicious cuisines at a affordable price. My wife and I were more then satisfied with Antigua Casona and would stay there again without question.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 11 nights with our children (11 & 14 yrs old) and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time in all of Cusco. It was our first ever visit to South America and we were so glad that our children came up with the idea in wanting to visit Peru. Our children still mention the great feeling they experienced when they first walked into the hotel's courtyard after a long journey from Istanbul to Cusco. It was like home. We were made to feel so welcome in every way. The hotel's staff were friendly, helpful, genuine and very gentle. The open buffet breakfast was included along with a generously wide variety of options including fruits, cereals, pastries, hot cooked dishes and freshly squeezed juices. We ate most of our dinners at our hotel as the food was so delicious and of such great value. Huge thanks to all the members of staff. We'll certainly be back.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The staff are always happy, smiling and so friendly. 10/10 customer/guest service. Nothing is too much trouble.
Food is delicious, rooms are lovely, courtyard with fire pits is relaxing and the gardens and fountains are beautiful. Opened for just a year after extensive restoration/renovation of a century+ old building — the attention to detail is fantastic. I feel very comfortable being a solo traveler whilst the others are now trekking. In total we will enjoy our experience here for 6 nights — very, very pleasant indeed.

From the amazing architecture to the friendly, helpful staff, Antigua Casona is a gem of a hotel. It is quiet, comfortable and a short walk from the sites and shops of the historic district. The braseros in the courtyard make for a magical time of talking with newfound friends. Don't overlook the restaurant either! We had a splendid dinner and continued to talk about the food for days afterward.

Antigua Casona is a lovely hotel in a beautifully-restored old building. The room was beautiful, as was the courtyard. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was superb. The hotel is located on a very narrow street in San Blas, five blocks uphill from the centre of Cusco.

Wow. We were floored when first walking in to this hotel. Such a rustic, clean, and beautiful vibe. The open concept around the fireplace, fresh flowers, Peruvian embroidered pillows, finely carved and detailed wood banisters, and the delicious food were some of our favourite aspects. Very private and quiet. Every staff member made sure to smile, hold the door open for us, and wish us well. The manager (and/or owner) we believe he was, was so lovely, he made sure we were well fed before our early trip to Machu Picchu and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We loved seeing the photos of the work done to build this hotel, as viewed in the restaurant, so inspiring. One of the best hotels we've ever had the opportunity to visit. Thank you!

Beautiful and peaceful. Tasty breakfast, not much choice though. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, speaks English knowledgeable on tourist needs and caring about the altitude sickness, you will be offered coca tea on arrival and any time you want. Wish could have stayed longer. 8-10 min walk from main Plaza Cusco. Nearby a tiny Plaza as well.

We had an amazing time at the Hotel! The food and service was great. Minutes away from the main square you've got easy access to everything with some great restaurants and shops close by. We really enjoyed the style and atmosphere and will definitely go back! In short, if you go to Cusco this is the place. Everything is within walking distance and the vegan restaurant next door is also worth a visit.
