This hotel is a little gem, within easy walking distance to the main town square. All the staff are helpful and very friendly. There is a good restaurant on the first floor; albeit with a limited menu, but what they offer is very good. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Cusco.

Probably the most helpful and friendly staff I have experienced. Their English was universally good and they always were very polite. The rooms are in line with the price tag and the location is good — improved by their proximity to pachapapa the best restaurant in town. Beds weren't the most comfortable and I wouldn't recommend their tour partner-hanyna. We did the private day tour through them and weren't too impressed but we did book last minute.

The best hotel we stayed in during our stay in Peru. Exactly what we were looking for in an authentic typical hacienda look hotel in the most quaint and beautiful part of Cusco called San Blas. It is a hilly part of the city but worth climbing each step of the many stairs. Very comfortable beds and best breakfast ever.

We stayed at Illa Hotel for six nights and it was a wonderful experience. Hans and the hotel management are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and spacious and in a great location for sight seeing and shopping. They were even hospitable about our dog and didn't charge anything extra. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Cusco.

Beautiful place in the center of Cusco, perfect to tour the cobbled streets, colonial places and the Plaza de Armas, nearby there are restaurants, shops, places of interest. The hotel is super nice, breakfast delicious.

On our trip to Peru we stayed in several hotels, without a doubt, Illa was very endearing. The staff were very friendly and willing to help; breakfast very complete, the beds comfortable and the shower excellent! Highly recommend it! In your search for a hotel in Cuzco, choose Illa!

Great hotel, good price and very helpful staff. The hotel is located in the lovely and quiet area of San Blas, a couple of blocks away from Plaza de Armas. The wooden details and the patio are really nice. The room is great, huge beds (mattress could be a little hard, but it will let you rest nicely anyway) and great shower. Breakfast is really nice, the cook is always ready to help. All staff in general were really good to us, they even prepared our breakfast for when we needed to leave at 4am for our Salkantay trek. They also kept our luggage safe during those days until we came back for a couple more days. Coca tea in your room! :-) We totally recommend it.

Lovely hotel located in the heart of Cusco, a short walk from the central square. Danny at the front desk is very pleasant and helpful. Our room had its own little heater which was much appreciated during the chilly June evenings. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had one of the best showers we have ever had in a hotel in all of our travels. Coca tea is available upon your arrival and whenever you need it. Believe me, you need it! As an aside, there is a little coffee shop literally steps from the hotel that has an amazing chocolate torte.

Quiet, very clean hotel. Lots of rooms around a variety of stacked courtyard. Comfy beds. Good Wi-Fi. Excellent breakfast (best we've had in South America! ). Great showers! (also the best) About 5-10min walk to Plaza del Armas. Located in the old city. Stayed here on two occasions.

Nice hotel, lovely and clean and the room we had was massive for a triple. The one thing that really let's the hotel down is the noise that carries around the building. Even quite conversation travels down the hallways!

Three months ago I was in this hotel, I found myself benisimo both as a location for El confort, elegance, kindness and professionalism of the personal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who goes to the beautiful and magical city of Cusco.

Excellent staff and very polite. The ambience and the beds are so comfortable. The housekeeping is perfect and the location is exceptional. An amazing value for price.

Lovely hotel in a super location. Friendly staff and we had a really enjoyable stay. We booked a trip to Macchu Piccu through the hotel & their partner agency — well organised and a super day.
