Unbeatable view, hummingbirds everywhere and sparkling clean rooms. Food can be hit and miss with not a huge selection to choose from everyday.

It's the third time he's been disappointing.
The first time I asked to separate for Holy Week (March) from the month of September, being only pending to be sent the details of the package. And I get the surprise that in November they canceled the reservation "because another group had requested all the facilities". I found it disrespectful, because despite being a group of 6 people, they gave no alternative options and gave priority not by order of waiting but in order to… R own convenience of the hotel.
The lack of seriousness left me much to be desired, however I tried to go on another date this time being only two people, however they put the booking condition for two nights otherwise they could not attend. This time, the person who attended us told us that we could go at lunchtime without telling us how complicated this situation would be.
When you arrive in the village of cocachimba we decided to visit the lodge and spend lunch as they recommended us, but they didn't even make it a good experience. On the one hand, lunch is until 2pm and use of the facilities at 3pm (time for visitors and not staying at the hotel) on the other hand, the attitude of the staff was nothing conciliatory.
For the sum of events, it really is a shame how important they attach to their customers.

Nice view to the waterfall. We Coincide with a large group of tourists and for lack of foresight we ate fatally the 2 days stay there as they had nothing of the letter, already in itself scarce. They Didn't let you put television news or change piped music, pretty bad indeed.

Good hike! And it's the 3rd largest in the world, don't let them convince you it's the 7th. The village has 23 waterfalls but asks for information! Unfortunately the monopoly of the horses and exploitation of the owners is an abuse of the mayor. The villager gives 10 suns and the municipality is left with the difference of 45 suns! A robbery.

Luxury kitchen and amazing view. Hot water's in trouble. You may have bad luck and touch cold water in cold weather.

Amazing view, just like the staff serving in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and overlooking the waterfall.
The downside is that not all rooms have gas therm system, but solar panels, so if you miscarry the system, you will not have hot water and the weather is cold at night.

For sure one of the few hotels that has one of the best views in whole Perú, wake up and has a look of the impressive Gotca Waterfall. Kuelap and Gotca should be in your plans if you go to Peru, and as a bonus! the food is very delicious at this beautiful hotel.

Bella Vista, beautiful place! Beautiful alpacas visit around the pool. We did not find room to stay (you have to book with a lot of anticipation) so we went alone to lunch. Great Disappointment the restaurant!

This is a lovely place with a view of the Andes and the Gocta waterfall. They can arrange excursions. I was on one today to Kuelap, the Chachopoyos site. You get there by cable car, which is a really dramatic trip. But well worth it.

The facilities of the Lodge are very nice, the rooms spacious and comfortable; it has good locations to make excellent photographs, the view of the falls is awesome… but the attention of the staff leaves much to be desired, that is why my rating.

It is located in an area with many points of interest, such as the Kuelap and the Gocta. That's just an attraction, but the service, the accommodations, the food, the staff put this hotel up a level. The view is amazing.

An incredible experience, the place is beautiful, the view magnificent and the attention and hospitality of the staff is first class from the moment one sets foot in the place. The menu could have more variety, but still gives enough options to be satisfied. Make the path to the Gocta waterfall, is beautiful and does not need a guide, it is impossible to miss, if they go out after the 10 am don't forget a flashlight as it is likely that the night, the grip at the back,. If they go out early and still have sun when you return, I recommend a drink ice in the pool to relax the body, and a dinner in the light of the candles that always are placed on the tables of the dining terrace.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and with the view of the Gocta waterfall impressive. The attention excellent and the food exquisite. If you travel to Chachapoyas and want something of comfort this is the place.

From the swimming pool, or rooms, you have a beautiful view of the waterfall of GOCTA. Very good customer service in the hosting.

A very quiet place with a beautiful view, but lacks the internet and television.

Very nice and upscale lodge and restaurant. We just had a bite to eat here but it I find kinda hard to recommend staying longer due to the town being absolutely tiny. The waterfall hike is very short and is a half day trip at most. Stunning view and the food was delicious but at the same time it feels a bit out of place and less welcoming than it appears online.
