Excellent service. Professional environment. Friendly staff. Great food! I felt like my stay was important to more than just myself. It was important to the hotel employees as well! Elevators clean and neat. Room service was prompt and accurate. I felt like I was a president of something.

Our room has a beautiful view. This hotel has a great restaurant but is in walking distance to other dining venues, shopping, parks, and paths to explore. The pool an spa area is very relaxing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

The rooms, at least the one they gave me and my colleagues were to make a complete reform. I have gone many times to that hotel and I had never seen it in such bad condition. The carpets had folds in which it was easy to trip. There was q turn off the air conditioning porq made more noise than it cooled. Once turned off it had leaks. In the bathtub it was something to enter! You didn't know if you were going to wash or get infected.

Great hotel. Great views of the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant breakfast, lunch dinner buffets are fantastic. Hotel bar is quite and classy. The pool is large and family friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Rooms facing the beach have a stunning view! If you are a runner this hotel is in a great location since it’s right in front of the Cinta Costera. Taxis are easy to get from here. People at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool for the kids to play in.

Stayed here 3 nights on the club intercontinental floor. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Yvonne the manager made sure we felt comfortable and happy. The club intercontinental was great and the rooms were great and comfortable.

The room is big, with good view. However, hot water comes very slow; the water spills over the floor everywhere in the bathroom. Guest account does not work in Wi-Fi, was provided with a one-time access code at the end. In general, this is an old hotel, facilities need to be renovated.

I went to a meeting in the morning, which we held in the cafeteria, and the waiters' treatment was exquisite, aside from the coffee, which was very good.
Of the rest little, or nothing else, I can have an opinion.

Great place for an event. Supwrb location, big salons, excellent wait service and now pretty good tapas snacks, even Indian finger food. A real rise from the ashes — this Phoenix lives now. Certainly worth a visit.

President lives here. Security is good. Taste is somewhat cheap.

We visited this location to celebrate Mother’s Day and each one of us were greeted with great smiles and service. The hostess along with management were all excellent, ensuring that our experience and comfort were memorable. The food presentation and flavor ños matched the awesome ambiance and decor. It was worth every cent! We left this location planing out next visit, which will be soon.

Clean and spacious rooms, large beds and a good mattress. They start needing reform, especially in the bathroom that has chips and rust in the bathtub. The pool was huge and with a large solarium and nice gardens and well cared for.

It is located in a good place with access to the Cinta Costera and there are several restaurants and shops around. The hotel and service is OK. Rooms had a nice view. Service at the restaurant was slow. It is a good place to stay, but would not be my top choice. There are other nicer hotels located nearby.

One of the iconic hotels in Panama city is the Intercontinental which is on the ocean front with marvellous views over over the sea and the causeway. It is about 20 minute drive from the airport and just a short walk from business quarters and a short drive from the old town. The interior design is colonial with dark wood. They have a very big and nice pool area as well as a big gym and a Spa. There is a nice club lounge on the 5th with breakfast and evening canapes as well as an all day offering with soft drinks and coffee. The rooms are spacious with big bathrooms and functional but the furniture and decor could do with an update as it is a little dated. Overall a great hotel with a great size pool and one of the better club lounge offerings.

The reason 4 star because washroom need few upgrades. Great Location and amazing view.

We had a very favourable stay at the Intercontinental Miramar in Panama City. I have nothing but good things to say. Nice big pool. Great Sunday morning buffet! The front desk folks (noteably Yajaira! ) were very friendly and accomodating and the upstairs concierge, Pablo, went out of his way and helped us out a lot with getting good prices on car rentals, helping us with translations… helping us out with pretty much anything we needed. I slipped and twisted my ankle in town and two of the lovely housekeepers brought me ointment and rubbed it on my foot. Sweet! No complaino!

Great location w/ fantastic view. Great service, self-parking is free even though it's not advertised that way. Room service needs some improvement. Be careful if you drive to the airport on weekends, because the road closure of Cinta Costera will totally mess up your GPS directions.

The hotel is very nice. Lovely staff and very well located.
The big problem is that there are two elevators for 25 floors, great congestion stakes are created that share their stories of long elevator waits.

Great location Excellent food in the buffet style restaurant. My concern is that the Operations manager is trying to do too many things at once so they all fall through the cracks.

My room was cleaned like when the mother-in-law visits you.
The vacuum cleaner does not often pass through all areas. Very battered mattress.
Anyway.

The truth is that it has nothing to do with other intercontinental. It is very well located and the views of the rooms facing the sea are amazing. But the maintenance of the hotel, the cleanliness, the renovation… Leave a little to be desired… In addition, you are charged supplements for using services that would be free in the rest of hotels in this category… And there's only one restaurant. Nothing to do, for example, with the Intercontinental of San José de Costa Rica or El Salvador.

Panamanian food buffet with pollera and montuno dance and music show. Food was great. Great place to show visitors food and show. Service was a little disorganized but very kind and attentive. Free parking with validation.

Very Nice place and hotel. Nice live Music with a good steak Buffet. The downside is that usually the meats were not hot. Good and varied dessert bar.

This is for the Bay View restaurant. The manager, Eyvone was very accommodating in getting me reservatins when they were full. The buffet was excellent. The steaks are presented on the buffet, but what you receive is not the quality or size you had chosen. Steaks were well prepared, but tough.

Great Hotel with fantastic Staff, all of the CSR's are very attentive and helpful.
The Hotel is close to everything you need in town and has a tour operator located on the 6th floor to help you with any day trips or excursions you might want to make while in Panama.
The pool and gymnasium are very nice and the staff that works these areas are very helpful and ready to serve any request.
The restaurant is very good and always has nice well prepared food available. … I stay at this hotel frequently and have no desire to stay at any other location while in Panama, the people are first class and the location is perfect.

They overcharged by accident, the room service messed up my order, and concierge service was hit or miss. Rogelio at the concierge desk was great though.

Stopped in for breakfast September 2017… they burned my omelette and the small $3 glass of orange juice was a low grade from concentrate that tasted like it was mixed with Sunny Delight. Tried to take a taxi from the InterContinental Hotel to Albrook Mall to be told that it would be $20 … I laughed, walked 30 ft from the hotel and hailed a taxi for just $4. Be careful of all the scams going on in Panama.

I am beyond surprised by the amount of positive reviews this hotel has. It seems almost everything was wrong with my stay here. First, the elevators are extremely slow, and weren't working when I was here so we had to take the elevators for the service workers, which seemed to be falling apart. Second, the food at dinner was absolutely repulsive, and no one that I was with was able to eat it. The seafood was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. Next, our room didn't have any toilet paper and when we tried to call the concierge, the phones in our room were not functioning. Furthermore, the air conditioning in our room was so loud when it would come on that it would wake us up throughout the night. Also, we could hear absolutely every word that was said in the room next to us as well as any of the people/cars outside (event though we were 25 floors up). I rather stay in a hostel with a bunch of drunken tourists than ever return to this hotel.

A hotel/residence establishment, another Bern company. As a result, they deliver a consistent service level in the hotel as it relates to service. The property needs some work to bring it up to date, but it is still a good option to stay for visitors looking to be in the middle of the City.

Hell on earth! Ongoing construction which apparently has been going on for years and shows no sign of ending. Where do I start… Check in had a serious lack of eye contact and staff are poorly trained in customer service After a long flight and a good nights sleep I was looking forward to a good breakfast… but was greeted with a sweaty, smelly breakfast room, cold buffet, poor service and a bunch of flies as companions I thought to myself it can't get any worse but boy I was wrong… The terrace pool was closed, the only open pool had no food or drinks service, the constant drilling and banging allowed no relaxation and to top it all off no towels No restaurants were open in the hotel which is extremely dated, including a peeling dirty bathtub and furniture that looks as if it has been transported from the 1980s. Perhaps the hotel is surviving because it has discovered the secret of time travel And you would think at least you could use the lift to get in and out of the hotel to escape the awfulness. No don't hold your breath. Only one of the two lifts working in such a large hotel until we found the service lift The hotel staff have a bizarre sense of nonchalance and service is deeply deeply slow so don't bother expecting to get your room service within the acceptable 30-45 minutes. The only thing going for this hotel is the excellent views of panama bay Avoid at all costs and you're better off paying the extra $50 and going to another property.

This hotel provided excellent service, food, and great facilities. The pool, although I didn't use it, was great. The views from even the lowest guest rooms (floor 7 I believe) had an amazing view of the ocean and of the main drag in Panama. One thing that stood out to me was the hotel provided bagged breakfast for our group that had to leave for a flight at 4:30 AM. That's above and beyond service!

Location is convenient for business in Panama City and the staff is very friendly. The pool is nice but would be better if lit at night, the gym is cramped but adequate, the free Wi-Fi is unreliable and the rooms are very dated and in need of a refresh.

One of the poorest customer service experiences I've seen had from a supposedly five-star business hotel, mainly on the front desk. No willingness to even consider an ocean facing view, simply putting it to a side. No international power adapters, and no willingness to go the extra mile to find one. The rooms, while clean, are bland and feel old'ish. The beds are comfortable. The TV is scratching. The morning breakfast is decent, the evening bar is an uncomfortable room without personality or energy. The location is good, right at the waterfront — but somehow it's isolated in the middle of the avenue, dis-jointed from both the ocean-facing promenade and the more local neighborhood behind the waterfront. For some reason, it just doesn't work for this hotel. I wouldn't recommend it, and the options in the area are plenty.
