Cordial hosts. Welcoming common area. Beautifully decorated home and sleeping quarters. Five star breakfast. Lovely setting at a perfect driving distance away from the hustle and bustle of town. Worthwhile short drive to a waterfall and the eccentric pig-man. Five stars all around.
Three of us stayed at Mangrove Manor for four days in December 2013 and we couldn't have asked for more. The house is perfectly set up for a B&B with spotlessly clean, modern ensuites, private guest areas and extra touches like tea/coffee making facilities just outside your bedroom door — great for the early risers! Anne and Peter are the perfect hosts, providing lots of tips for touring the area and Peter's famous cooked breakfasts really set us up for the day. Their rates are extremely reasonable compared to other B&Bs we stayed in and represent excellent value for money. The location — approx. 2kms from town — offered the best of both worlds with beautiful countryside all around and just a quick drive to some really outstanding restaurants.

A fantastic experience. The house is wonderful. Anne and Peter were great hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable whilst allowing us our space. The breakfast was also a highlight, tasty, homegrown (tomato's from their garden) and catered to our dietary requirements (vegetarian). In the lead up Anne and Peter were easy to communicate with, and very responsive to questions. Thank you both for a great time.
