Very relaxed place. Quiet and had the best sleep. Not too many rules and restrictions. Which is what we like. Clean kitchen and toilets and showers. 50cents for a shower which is very reasonable.

Being so close to the water, the park isn't too big, its amenities while old are well maintained and very clean. Its a friendly beautiful place to stay.

Spent 3 nights in a camper van here at Des and Leanne’s great little camp right on the water front and only 5 mins drive from Coromandel town. Dog friendly and recommend to anyone who enjoys fishing. Also a great walk up through kauri forest right behind camp.

Such a beautiful location. Shops are near by aswell. The campsite is very well maintained on a daily basis. Family friendly and most of all safe tents and camper van could be left open without anything going missing. Toilets and Showers cleaned daily and communal kitchen area is so convenient.

Great camping location. Nice hiking trails that start at the edge of the camp. One leads to another beach and the other into the interior. Hot water showers cost money so does the Wi-Fi.

Great family spot, very popular for anyone that loves fishing. Great hosts, super friendly and were always seen emptying bins etc. Well stocked shop. You pay for what you get, affordable but not flash, however it had everything you need. The one thing I didn't like was the cleaners dog roaming the beach all day, I couldn't relax with it around the kids, and felt like I had to constantly be there with them. The kids were also getting annoyed trying to fish whilst the dog was jumping up and chasing the line etc. For that reason I would be put off booking again.

Gorgeous location, friendly staff, all sites very close to beach with sea view. Reasonably priced with plenty of good clean showers and toilets. One of the best campsites we have stayed in during our six week tour of New Zealand.

Fantastic spot. Hosts are an awesome couple. Cabins were very clean. There were 27 of us and they really looked after us.

We stay at Tucks Bay which is around the corner from Long bay. Fantastic owners, a really food value for money holiday with heaps to see or do or just chill out. Love it!

Followed the signs in from the main road, just a couple km's from Coromandel Town, and has all you are looking for — beautiful bay and quiet sandy beach. Amazing view and stunning at night time over the water with the stars and moon etc. Great prices also. Great place to stop before heading off around the peninsular. And happy friendly staff/ management.

Really good value Kayak hire. $20 for 2.5 hours. On a calm day it's a lovely jumping off point to head out round Wyuna.

Loved it, friendly people very tidy beach safe for my young children they didnt want to leave. Enjoyed the bush walk hidden in the back, learnt about our native trees and what they look like. Will definatly be back.

Best place to get away for summer. Safe beach, awesome people, nice cabins and camp facilities. Just awesome.

Nice view, right in front of the sea, clean kitchen and a nice TV room. The people are also nice. It's pretty expensive I paid 25 dollar for a powered site without free Wi-Fi and you have to pay the hot shower (50 cents but only lasts 2 minutes).

Great place to stay. We had an attached cabin which was very well equipped and tidy. Will be coming back next year!

One of the best campsite views we've had, hot showers, clean kitchen and good facilities. Not a lot to do close by unless you fish or have a car you're happy to drive around for a couple of hours. Plenty to do on the water, the hosts are lovely and it genereally had a welcoming feel!

Love this place, best sunsets ever seen here. Great facilities that are kept very clean. People super friendly. Can't stop going back. Kids grew up in this camp and now they taking their children too.

Great, decent-sized campground at the entrance to the Coromandel. Only stayed one night, as I was passing through, but would have gladly stayed more.

Lovely managers, nice family feel to this smaller camp ground. Safe and great launching spot for fisherman.

Best campground ive found so far well set out everyone gets a view no matter where they sleeping great owners clean grounds and building will be my go to place every time.

This is one of NZ's best kept secrets, I think! Really beachside with the waves coming in to a small beach but behind are lovely green lawns, huge trees for shelter and shade, picnic tables, boat launching ramps, cabins and one ensuite cabin that is pure luxury! The owners are enthusiastic and ready to help in any way! My review would give it 5 stars!
