Zoku is one of the most creative and unique hotels I’ve ever been to. I had an incredible time there with my boyfriend. We were very satisfied of the friendly atmosphere, creative building, the rooftop which was our favorite place, food and all the other activities! I just wish we can travel to Amsterdam one more time just to have another experience in Zoku.

Highly recommended in every aspect. The roof terrace restaurant is quality with some amazing views and the sidekicks (staff) are attentive to your dining experience. The rooms here are very well appointed and comfortable. A great location and an even better approach to modern accommodation.

It’s the perfect combination of cleaver design, friendly staff and yummy food that brings everything (and everyone) together While only here a short period, it has felt more like visiting friends or at home, then staying in a hotel. Cannot recommend more highly for those wanting an initial base in this awesome city.

Zoku was absolutely amazing! We stayed for 4 nights and cannot say enough good things. The breakfast buffet was delicious going above and beyond with fresh made juices. The very talented chefs make a great breakfast, lunch and dinner so every meal we ate was always outstanding. The staff are so kind and helpful. We were always greeted and given tips on where to visit while being asked questions so they could learn more about us. Overall, Amsterdam was a great city to visit and Zoku made it that much more welcoming. Highly recommend the city and hotel!

This place is awesomely ahead of it's time. The staff is nice. They go above and beyond the hotel experience. You will not be disappointed.

At first, a nice experience, great food and a beautiful place. But cutting your own bread, getting your own drinks, putting wrong drinks on the tap and it’s to much to order another bottle of wine around 23.30. What the f*ck are we at an over priced La Place?

Young, fancy, informal and non-pretentious place with cool people around. Great location to spend hours without worrying about time. Perfect for chilling out in a group of friends. If you expect to have waiters taking your order, definetey it is not a place for you. Of course you don't want to wait for someone from the bar/reception to bring glasses for your bubbles/wine, it is much more efficient to help yourself, at least you don't feel the obliged to consume desperately like in other bars/cafes in the city. I highly recommend you to experience ZOKU and its brunch or lunch and friendly and helpful staff.

The rooftop “restaurant” is very nice. It offers several seats and tables, both inside, in a cozy environment, and outside where several small terraces offer a nice view over the city. The staff is friendly and talkative. Concerning the food, it is really fresh and tasty, with plenty of choices for a healthy brunch on Saturday morning. I would have liked to stay longer in the hammock.

A great place to chill out on the rooftop terrace and enjoy summer evenings and the view. The food is good, but the portion was rather small. Interesting self-service concept, which could've been explained a little better at first, but works great once you know how it works. I would recommend it, if only for the amazing view, very tasteful interiors and the casual yet luxurious vibe.

This place was such a good surprise on our stay. Rooms are very cosy and sophisticated, we actually enjoyed using the room facilities. The roof floor is great to hang around and rest and the location is good too (next to Zoo, 20 minutes walking from Amsterdam's center. Highly recommend.

Awesome staff and great concept makes Zoku what it is. The rooms are done in the "tiny home" method and have lots of fun hidden tricks for comfort and creativity. The roof terrace and restaurant are brilliant and the food is great for the price. A mix of quiet corners and communal table settings make it easy to get what you want out of your experience. The kitchen and service area is open and the staff encourages interaction. We were there with a small group and the Chef made us feel right at home. I wanted to stay longer and look forward to being there again.

We have stayed at this hotel last year. The only one good thing was localization (tram, subway). In addition only negative points: there is no front desk (we do not believe in the Zoku official ideology, that a lack of f-desk helps to delete boundaries between staff and guests), moderate room cleanliness; no bed linen change, despite the declared exchange every four days days; extractor above the kitchen plate was not working and was very dirty and greasy; very poor ventilation in the bathroom (steamy mirrors). The Zoku owners like their hotel very much, they praise it in all possible and impossible ways (indicative of their design abilities). However, it can only make an impression on teenagers or hipsters. Oh, we forgot: during our stay there was a bogus fire alarm on at 3 a. M. Summing up: very bad price to quality ratio, too much artistic designs and ideology, too little stability.

Awesome hotel! Young and fresh style. Very simple check in/out via tablet, rooms are little apartments arranged really smart and convenient. If you want housekeeping you need to order this extra unless you are staying over a week. Stylish, modern hotel situated not too far from the very, very city center (20 min walk or 10 min by public transport). The lobby at the 6th floor is just great to sit and relax, work or plan your trip. Aside all this: The very best of it is definitely the Sunday Brunch! It’s amazing! So yummy! Highly recommended.

I consider Zoku my home base in Amsterdam. It's got everything — amazing (fresh! ) food, drinks, beautiful communal spaces to work solo, inspiring meeting rooms for collaborative sessions, beautiful rooftop terraces for sunny days, and apartments that you'll live in — not just stay in. This is THE spot for business travelers, or just traveling with the intention to connect with inspiring, creative people. The staff is super friendly and works hard to get you settled in and acquainted with the city, and the location is unbeatable. It's within walking distance to everything you need and want to see, but also offers affordable bike rental options for anyone who wants to see the city like a local. Couldn't ask for a better place to call home.

Zoku street Zoku — I stayed here for a couple weeks. It did take long until I left right at home. Room — the room is the most important thing her. It is clean and compact. The cleaners some one a week which was nice. The room looks small online but it is a perfect size when you are here. Common areas — this is one of the best things about the place. The common areas a fantastic. You have a boutique hotel, with a office working space, with a bar and a restaurant … all in one. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely excellent place! I've stayed there five times already and can't get enough of it. Great vibe, delicious food, good wine, great common spaces! Guys, I'm just begging you: please restore the jar with skittles in the common space room!

It was a pleasure to stay at Zoku! They have created a cozy homey feel in this hotel that makes your stay so comfortable. The rooms were modern and minimalistic. Everything was perfect, I don't know how they do it! Good job! Will be back here next time I'm in Amsterdam!

A honesty bar in a restaurant! I like the idea (and obey the right execution). The food was also great, so overall a very nice experience. Although it's on a high level of Amsterdam, the night doesn't show you a lot of the view. So daytime might also be a good option.

It’s like a whole little loft apartment in each room! Such a chic space. You can tell every detail was designed. The social space is amazing and the roof deck, wow! They even have free bikes you can borrow. Stay here!

A fantastic place for live music. Very intimate and warm environment. Good views from every seat too. Drinks are mid range priced. Open jam sessions on Fridays. We'll worth checking out. Must go to 6th floor in elevator.

Did not have a pleasure of staying, however had the pleasure of dining. First and foremost, the interior design is brilliant! The plant (full) open view hallway leading up to the restaurant is beautiful. The restaurant itself is extremely cosy, with people playing boardgames, students studying, etc. It's truly one of a kind and embraces social interaction at its core (sorry for the pun above). Visited for the dinner menu and the food selection was a bit on the low side, with only 4 main dishes. Our group tried all 4 of them and enjoyed them thoroughly. The dishes all looked quite spectacular. However one of the dishes, the chef's special at the time, had quite a pungent smell that was not the most pleasant one. The taste was great though. Finally my only issue would be with ordering and drinks. Even if the ordering via a tablet is efficient and futuristic, there was only one, thus there quickly formed lines for ordering. Also keeping a written down note for the drinks you consumed is a practice that is a bit of a stretch. Maybe it's the concept, maybe it is a feature, I do not know, but I personally found it out of place and cumbersome. The issues are minor in comparison, would most definitely recommend checking this one out. The review score just reflects that there may be some parts that could be improved.

Very modern hotel without reception, some things getting used to, cleaning of the room did not work either.

Unique, cool, comfortable and cozy: feels like home. A friend and I stayed in the loft XL. Zoku is a completly different experience/concept. Modern, warm and well equipped lofts. The loft XL is pretty spacious. The location is good: it would take us 15 minutes to get to Rembrandt square on foot. The staff are friendly, and the rooftop common space is cozy and offers a great view of Amsterdam and its surroundings. Would highly recommend staying in Zoku.

Really stylish rooms, however, a loft is not a loft in the classical sense. For young people super Nice and modern made — nice staff.

Actually incredible, greatest place I have stayed. Perfect for couples, or short term/longer term business. Close to shops and transport links. Incredible facilities and the loft apartment worked perfect for our needs, fully kitted out in every way. Plus staff were very pleasant and food amazing. Definitely recommend eating there if you stay. Plus great views off the terrace.

The best place to be. The loft is amazingly designed, with everything you need. The big table makes you enjoy working, the bed is comfy and so on.
I dream to get back there.
And food is really very good.

The best way to enjoy your stay is alone with something to do in Amsterdam (I was attending a writing workshop).
As I hate being a tourist, as I hate to visit aimlessly famous places, Zoku is perfect.
If you like running, the small Osterpark is close.
I would love to find a Zoku in every place I want to go.

Amazing place to stay for a few days to a few months. Full kitchen and all the amenities you need. Fun rooftop common areas with both indoor and outdoor chill stations. Friendly, relaxed environment. I've visited many Amsterdam hotels throughout the past 6 years… and this one is by far the most memorable.

There is a supermarket across the market.
Acceptable distance to walk to the center.

Best hotel in town! Super lofts (they call their room lofts) and amazing staff. Had a few difficulties with the room key but they were always generous to accept their mistake and even offered me drinks sometime! Good points- — great room & well equipped kitchen & other things — amazing staff — beautiful rooftop terrace with lots of things to do — great dinner & lunch option with lots of free events (they also host free dinner on some days :D) Bad points- — Check on your room key, the tech is not as solid and it does give issues — electrical equipment may not work sometimes but they are quite receptive in getting it repaired.

The room is small but clean and comfortable. Innovative solutions in the design of the rooms and hotel in General. A lot of nice details.

Finally the hotel I have been searching for in Amsterdam! Modern and great vibe. Take the lift to the top floor social area to check in (self check in but staff are there to help if needed). Great social area and working space. Rooms are "loft" style — mine had a small kitchenette, though unsure if this is in all rooms. A little out of the city centre, but only about a 20min walk (or hire a bike from the hotel), or just a few metro stops from the Centraal Station. I will stay here from now on when I go to AMS.

The rooms were great. Everything I want in a hotel room, at a good price. Plus, the living kitchen was really nice, too. The service left a lot to be desired, but it's not the end of the world.

We had a wonderful time in that beautiful place. The Lofts are great. Even the bed is absolutely perfect. The Team was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. But the best is the food, especially the Brunch Dish at the weekend where you can choose a meal. I really was in breakfast heaven… the best I ever ate Thanks Zoku and Team for this perfect weekend!

Zoku it's so cool! A great mini-apartment with all the facilities (gym included! ). Just be careful with your kitchen vacuum if you are planning to cook: always open the window or the fire alarm will turn on! :D A fun experience! :D.

Such a unique concept and an amazing place to stay for either work or pleasure. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, the views from the roof is class and if you're blessed with good weather you can chill on a hammock on the rooftop garden. We stayed in an XL loft and loved it, the bed was so comfortable and the room provided a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam city. Location-wise, it was so easy to get to/from the airport and is perfect for going to the museum district, Amsterdam stadium for concerts and the city. This is the best place I've stayed in Amsterdam! Can't wait to go back and please open more Zokus in the world! ❤

I really like this place due to a combination of different aspects. I have never been a guest of this hotel, however, I go there often for brunch, dine or just for a afterword drink, the food is great. The design is very fresh and minimalistic. It's an open space in the building top floor that makes Zoku one of my favourite places in Amsterdam. Perfect place to chill and appreciate the city views and sunsets in nice company.

This place is really interesting, it's a place where you can relax, eat, work, play. The rooms are nice, the few things that I didn't like were that it got really cold and adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to do much. The lights in our room were somehow getting turned on and off. The building itself is very comfortable and safe. The staff are great, I would stay again.

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at Zoku in May. Our loft room was amazing, modern, clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen dining area with microwave oven and dishwasher. We loved the mezzanine level bed, so cleverly designed with steps that you could hide away in daytime. There is everything you could want if working away from home and wanting to combine work with a top class hotel. The top floor restaurant/reception has great views over the city and an outside balcony area with a tropical feel, lots of plants and herbs growing and pleasant areas to relax/work. Lots of work areas and conference rooms if you need. The food was freshly prepared with the kitchen of view, good nutritious food nicely presented! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay again if visiting Amsterdam. We enjoyed the Zoku bikes! Thank you!

5 stars It's not much.
The best hotel or I went, the staff do not speak too French but there is always way to understand each other.
A huge plus the hours of entering its flexible I could take my room at 11:30 instead of noon.
A service to keep the luggage before you leave or at your arrival is genial and very convenient.

Came here for brunch, good place for young people. However see one of the waitress eating in the kitchen in front of guest and wearing gym clothes is not the best… great atmosphere nice view and good quality/price brunch.

If I were younger and not spoiled to the amenities of nice hotels I may have liked this one a little more. (ie no one to call to get anything, you do everything yourself) I also do not like that the bed is in the loft, which becomes rather hot at night making it hard to sleep. For some reason I also had to go to the top floor every day and have my room key re done as it did not work. The people that work there are fantastic and the food in the restaurant is top notch. The location is rather nice as well. Not for those looking for the 4 to 5 star hotel experience, but probably great for the younger crowd.

Just checked in today on the second to last stop of my European tour and I love the concept of this place. Hoping to meet the team tomorrow to discuss potential partnership with expansion to the US. I'd love to help and bring this to Atlanta or another major US city. It's the perfect compromise of a hotel and AirBnB and will surely do well in the States! Let's talk!

Had brunch at the rooftop restaurant. Beautiful view, very nice interior for working or hanging out. Very tasty food and because of the included coffee, tea and juice also very affordable.

The staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms are amazing. Clean and large. Really cool design. They have anything you could ever need from scissors to tape as well. It's very covenant. The location is close to the train station.

I love Zoku, its a unique concept a cross between the faceless apartment-hotel and a lively dynamic co-working space with a kitchen that serves good quality foods. I like that the team is relatively young and very eager to please their customers. I will have the joy of staying there a lot in the coming weeks. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. I have been a couple of time. It offers you a relax environment with a great view over the city. Last time I was there, I ordered a teapot of fresh mint tea and a piece of cheese cake, I was surprise to see that the prices are definitely not expensive. I paid for the tea 5, 5 euro and 3, 5 for the big piece of cheese cake. The people working there are friendly.

Its ultrafast Wi-Fi, its reception at the top of the hotel with the dining area integrated with the kitchen, its common areas of elegant design, amazing meeting rooms and its apartment type rooms will not leave you indifferent.
