Very beautiful castle…

We had our wedding here and I must say that besides the fact that the location is indeed wonderful, the client service is certainly mediocre. I'll give just a few examples: not having hot water in the Koetshuis (I think that is inadmissible in the 21st century) and the only thing that they had to say when we complained the next day was:'Oh! Is that still going on? '. Another thing is that of course on your wedding day you expect that at least your entrance (as a bride) walking down the aisle would be unforgettable: it actually was! The red carpet, which was not vacuumed, left an entire trace of red fluff all over my dress just before coming down the aisle, not to mention that the music stopped just as I was walking towards my husband to be, only to restart again after a few steps. And a last thing, although it's certainly not the least: our remaining thank you gifs for our guests and our ring pillow are still lost somewhere in Huis de Voorst, we never received them back, and our gifts that were left in the house at the end of the party, were thrown out and we found them on the stairs the next morning. So overall, the only ones who saved the party in the end were the chef (compliments for the food and service) and the DJ who made the party worth the while. It is a pity I have to give a bad review and I normally refrain from doing so, but I think anyone's wedding day should be unforgettable in a good way.

Attended for a friend's wedding. A fantastic venue, one of the kind in Holland. Beautiful foodart for starters, delicious food all day and an incredibility attentive team.

You will not be disappointed We looked at ten different locations in Holland and a few in Sweden (the groom is Swedish) before deciding to go for Huis de Voorst. And this was the best decision we could make. It's difficult to explain the wedding day without sounding ridiculously cliché. You definitely understand why people say "it was the best day of my life" after getting married. But when it's at Huis de Voorst, even the guests were floating on clouds. About half the guests… were from Sweden, and half from Holland. Everyone was so happy and so impressed the whole day. Whether it was about the absolutely gorgeous location (really impressive first impression), the professional staff (shoutout to Christian, Wouter, Chantel and Robert) or the incredible food, a sight for the eyes as much as for your taste buds, everything just hit the mark perfectly. The day flows in such a nice way with new impressions as the different events take place in different rooms, making it feel like one seemless dream. I know this sounds silly, but magic is the way to describe Huis de Voorst. Magic. Regards, Rosalie & Pierre.

Unique place with a monumental building and great interior Great place for photo shoot They offer a nice place for guests to stay overnight. Really friendly personnel help you as much as they can. Great chef. A bit expensive You are not allowed to party in their garden in the night time Very bad ventilation (no ventilation) and doors are not allowed to be open.

Always nice people, really exited for our wedding there!
