A great secured place for backpackers and a freestyle travelers. Chill rooftop bar at hostel for the night after a long trip is just perfect. Breakfast was on point with free flow of cafe and tea. Paints on wall, Clean and cozy room and helpful staffs will make your day.

I was there in Mandalay not for even 24hours. However, the stay was quite hectic. My fellow traveller suggested me Ostello Bello and I checked in as the last guest to a female dorm. I honestly didn't expect much because it was quite late and I was dead tired. As I entered the room it was squeaky clean and the bathroom was fully equipped and awesome. It was an amazing time with three beautiful ladies from different corners of the world. Next morning the breakfast was just amazing. And the best part was they have a shower facility at the common area. Though I checked out at 11am, but before my onwards journey in the evening I got fresh n up and that made me really relaxed. It was really well planned and well decorated hostel. Highly recommended♥️. The crew Matt, wai yan, cherry, Akar Phyo was amazing and friendly who made my time even memorable.

Such friendly staff & lovely events. We had a great time and I would love to go and enjoy the moment with Ostello Bello guys. As for me, Ostello Bello becomes a must place to have fun in Mandalay. Definitely 5 Stars.

We had a stay of 2 nights at Mandalay Hostel trip. Such a nice hostel with friendly and supportive staffs. Every thing is nice. Strongly recommand and hit 5 stars for this hostel.

The most friendly hostel in the country. Later found out that this is Ostello Bello, a chain hostel brand from Italy. No wonder they could manage that much. Shared air-conditioned room with shower and toilet attached to the room. Complimentary breakfast — local dishes with bread and butter and jam, plus free coffee and tea the whole day. Very friendly staff and great service. Warm and active atmosphere there. You can also enjoy very authentic spaghetti and pasta there. They've got a Pasta Sharing program — provide free pasta to everyone at 7:45 pm every night. P. S: Strongly recommend their "Meat Lover Pizza".

The best place for backpackers in town! Its a very new and clean place, with a nice rooftop (bar). Probably one of the best and own places to hang out at night with lots of young people, games, music and free cigars!

A good Hostel where to spend good days, find maca people and discover more the city thanks to the tours they provide.
The staff has been very helpful when it comes to finding information and making us feel comfortable. The night games are fun and help to connect more with the people.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Like every Ostello Bello, there is a nice rooftop to chill at night. The place is well staffed, great place to book everything and get handy advices. However we found the food pricey and way under what we could have found for half the price anywhere else.

Nice and fun staff, awesome rooftop bar with nice view over Mandalay and to Mandalay Hill. The double and two bed rooms we had were clean and spacey with a nice bathroom, big and strong shower. There is free water, coffee and tea available the whole day. It's located close to the palace and a few good restaurants. The hostel also makes great spaghetti.

Great and clean rooms, slept in a dorm for one night and a private double room for the second. Nice staff and good social areas to meet other backpackers. Nice rooftop bar.

Great Hostel and great to meet new people. Well priced. Breakfast could be better but can’t complain when it’s free. Each night they have special events which was very fun. You can book tours from the hotel which I recommend, especially the day tour which was amazing.

Really cool place. I didn't spend the night there but I did spend a day in their common room. The reception was nice enough to allow me in to spend a couple of hours to work in the shelter, away from the harsh sun of Mandalay and they had some nice music and a very good atmosphere in general. Tip: if you want good network coverage, stay close to the windows.

The great rooftop makes this hostel. Great place to socialize and meet people. Good for solo travellers.

It is a great place to stay! Free breakfast, towels, soap, shampoo and activities. Also very clean. Mattia, Khant Ko and the other guys of the staff were really nice, funny and helpful too!

Had an awesome time here and made lot's of new friends. Location is fine, in the middle of the town and I worked to most of the key sights. They have in house tour organisers who arrange trips and transport which was very convenient. Had a great time visiting the Moustache brothers comedy show. Roof top bar was also good fun.

Real Myanmar helping atmosphere. Really helpful, correct and they have really good breakfast and e-bikes! Service is top!

Poor service! Ok place, nothing really different from other hostels — staff does not speak English very well however. They agreed to make us an early breakfast as we had an early departure to Hispaw but then forgetting this completely the next day. They also booked us a taxi for 07:00 — tells us it will show up at 06:30, doesn't — shows up at 07:15 — drives to some hospital till 08:00 and doesnt leave till then. He also forgot we had to go to Hispaw and was planning to drive all the way to Lashio. Got a discount but thats still poor service for a hostel chain that prides itself for offering quality for backpackers.

The hostel was super clean, it has all a backpacker needs to feel comfortable. Free clean towels and soap, activities everyday, decent bed and facilities in the room, a good rooftop and a very nice location (although I would still use a Mototaxi because the distance between attractions in Mandalay can be significant). Its really social and you can meet fellow travelers easily. The personnel is attentive, they can get you all you need to continue on on your trip. They have good food and beer, but if you feel like eating out, there are a few good options at walking distance too.

I was traveling around Asia for last 4 months and this is definitely one of the best hostel I slept ever! It's very clean and all the staff is very friendly and helpful giving you the best tips to enjoy ur staying.

The customer service is totally useless. The recepciobistas subiditos of tone are not of much help. I booked a bus early in the morning and gave me the hour that gave them the win, first with the excuse that there were no more early then a couple deapues d mu picked up sua tikets d bus so early in the morning to go! To ask for explanations very kind, they told me that I tmb I could compear the flowers early in the day but you have to pay another vwz 10000 MMK…
The rooms are spacious but I'm tall and the beds are a little small. What the shampoo and the gel crappy and useless if you t stay more than a day. The menu of the restaurant fully europizado with any dish thai and nothing remarkable. Not I will be going back ever to this specifically, or any of the string.

One can tell that Ostello Bello was designed by someone who has done a fair bit of backpacking themselves. The rooms are clean and spacious with en suite bathrooms. The lounge downstairs / reception is a hub for planning activities, using laptops (can be asked for! ) and drinking coffee and tea (on the house) while chatting with fellow travelers. Come evening time, there's a great rooftop to enjoy a beer, a smoothie and the panorama. 5 stars for the atmosphere, cleanliness, well-thought out layout and organisation, and competitive price, as well as great breakfast.
