Loved our stay at Hotel Reforma and our visit to Merida. It's bang in the centre of a beautiful city, lots of old charm, an internal courtyard and a pool to cool down after a long hot day exploring Uxmal. Free parking just round the corner was a bonus. Breakfast was perfectly adequate — toast, pastries, fresh fruit and tea — if you need a full cooked meal this early in the morning then there are numerous cafes nearby. The family room was perfect for us, amazing high ceiling room with beds for all. Although we were right in the middle of the city and on the outside corner room (so there was lots of noise from traffic), our kids had the longest lie-in of the whole holiday!

We picked a room with a balcony. It is the sound of the city that is the reason to stay in the heart of the city. Nice little room with a double and a single. The a/c worked great but wasn't necessary at all times. The bathroom was small but clean and a really surprisingly good shower. Didn't choose the breakfast option because it's Mexico and there are so many options for inexpensive and delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, a block from the Zocalo and in the m…iddle of all that makes Merida such a great city. There is a 24 hour cafe and a convenience store across the street as well as a pizza place and almost anything you can imagine within walking distance. The price was 33 Canadian dollars a night. Extremely satisfied with location, service and price.

Excellent cleaning service. Helpful staff at the front desk. Location close to the main square and tourist information places. Quiet atmosphere. My only suggestion for improvement is that it would be good if they would put a pad over the mattress before the sheet. If the sheet gets pulled back you're sleeping on a bare mattress.

Offices very close to the city center, the best location.

Very nice the hotel, comfortable facilities, care of first, have a setback and give solution immediately. Centrally located and close to restaurants and cafés. Apart one block from the main square opposite the Cathedral. Preferred.

Comfortable hotel and excellent customer service in addition to the staff which is the best, and also has tourism per day for the locations in the area surrounding.

All very well and good price, breakfast is good, the rooms although small, is pretty good for the price, Wi-Fi is not exactly good.

Full disclosure: I did not stay here, but stopped in and looked at a room. The price information on Google is erroneous. In January 2015 the price for a room for one person (two beds, no balcony) was 650 pesos. That's about equal to US $43.40, nowhere near the prices in the low $30's quoted online. When I brought this up at reception she said I could book through Expedia for 585 pesos, which is still $39. When you add in taxes and fees it's about the same price. The rooms were clean but small and a bit run down. Wi-fi seemed to work throughout.
